Sir/ma,3.3m(about 12,000cad) is actually not small for a single tourist application but your other strong proof that you will return to nigeria and why canada.my father have no bank statement and got the visa,even is friend apply with about 1.5 million naira balance with proof of his work,family in nigeria and letter of invitation from me and he also got the visa for one year validity with no travel experience .so the purpose of the trip and your strong tie to your home country counts.how do you make a point that you want to celebrate your 50th birthday in canada alone without your family and why canada..you can reapply wlth more documented proof and a good letter of purpose but l will advice maybe you see the gcms note

I attended my interview this Morin at Austrian embassy Abuja. After all I was told that they will send my application to the Austria immigration and get back to me. The interview was quite tough anyway. Unnecessary questions were flying during the interview.

We submitted every and any document that we could think of that would make her application strong.

There was a mistake on my mum's application, she uploaded the Application for Visit Visa twice ( in the place of travel history).
Thank God we discovered it and the travel history document was sent through the IRCC webform.

In my case, my mum was given a visa up till the time of her passport expiration.

I pray that for everyone trusting God for his or her own God will grant you favor in your application in Jesus name.

Have sent letter to the through their web enquiry form was delivered successful to their London office. No response till now. Please what can do. Very true , that can lead to Automatic refusal, because you already given them the authority to carry out a check on your application,refusing to allow them conclude will lead to a cancellation of your application. I will advise you should reschedule your appointment with the other embassy and ensure your application is concluded . You will be asked to pick up your passport at VFS office where you applied from... What kind of visa did you apply for ? And how long did it take for them to call you ?

approvedxxx yes he’s right. I went to Austria last year, spent 82 days there in total and I didn’t have any issues whatsoever. I submitted at Abuja. I submitted sometime around 20th may and told it was ready sometime by June 6th. Roughly 2 weeks. The guys at VFS there were very kind and nice, they thoroughly cross checked my documents. I had made a mistake on my application form and so I had to redo the entire thing again, they made me take new passport photos and they had me redo my bank statement. From what they said if I remember correctly, I had to come up with exactly 3 months bank statement. So I ran to the bank that same day, did a new bank statement and arrived back before closing. It was a REALLY long day. But I thank God for everything. I went to Austria in July or so. I stayed in Salzburg and visited Chiemsee in Bavaria, wen to some really exotic places. And whilst in Salzburg, I met the Nigerian Ambassador to Austria, Amb. Vivian Okeke. Very nice woman.

For your self introduction letter too, I remember the guy at VFS asked why I didn’t do it on a letter head. But he accepted it nonetheless. I’m not very sure my total visa fees + other expenses was up to: N41410. Honestly I can’t really remember. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t, I feel like I paid something in total of about 30 something k. But now with the increase of visa fees, it could cost much more.

Very True..... you need to visit the VFS office in lagos and see Crowd. 99.9% of Nigerians wanna leave this country MAY GOD HELP US!!!.

The answer is simple..the number of nigerians applicant is much higher and more check is neded compare to other africa countries

Make sure your application is as watertight as you can make it. The Austrians will definitely contact the conference organiser and your booked hotel. Be prepared to go to Abuja for an interview.
