D issue is if we vote em out who are those coming in, Rotimi was almost perfect in his first stint but his second coming was filled with taste of unpaid salaries etc....now we have wike at least we set c salary on-time and most of us have been paid to date but d issue will he become a beast in his next stint if allowed.... but my problem is with we d followers we don't know our right and even if we know we don't know how to get out of this mess..it starts from somewhere... how can someone vote for someone who has not done a project... sponsored people or even supported humanity.... but we jump and vote for someone who sprays cash about... is it d cash u want or a good life... we sell our souls for little pleasures... we got ourselves here..... u all know that good man or woman who is a leader but give them a blind sight... u elect tyrants because of ur selfish needs.... how can we b lead by someone who spits violence no human empathy
..someone who has no clue on economics, education, and u expect things to go well..... my opinion my honest opinion d best person I have seen who can b my president, I have not seen.... u can't call urself my governor and I have not been promoted for 5yrs, pensioners are been owed, education standard is dropping cultism on d rise etc.... u travel abroad for medics y ur people don't have a hospital.. u tell d press that our economy is d best why ur people suffer... Nigeria is in a mess no leaders we all have cheaters look at how all of them are rushing and hustling for 2019 election..... on a final note we need to change our orientation u know that good man... I prefer not to vote than to vote for someone who does not carry my views. GIG

Mr Sammy,I understand your plight toward the Nigeria issue,I want to differ a little especially in the area of prompt payment of salary,even the bible said and I qoute "labourer is entitle to his wages" we need to know that salary is our right as workers and nobody I mean nobody can deniel the workers that, if you doubt ask Ayo Fayoshi of Ekiti state.So nobody should commend wike for paying salary promptly,it is in called for cause the people are wiser now.

My voters card is seriously chilling in my wardrobe,I will ensure I come out to vote and ensure it count we all should endeavor to do the same,as for me I am voting wike out,I am deem serious.

Minimum wage: C’ttee to submit report this week

ABUJA—BARING any last minutes change, the tripartite committee approved by the Federal Government to review the minimum wage will submit its report this week.

Although the committee was supposed to present its report last month, the public holidays to mark Eid-el-Kabir affected the date.

Vanguard reliably gathered that the committee met, yesterday, at Trsnscorp Hilton, Abuja and a highly placed source privy to the meeting told Vanguard that the organised labour was pressing that the report be concluded today.

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Vanguard that though the government representatives had requested for more time, labour felt the report of the committee had been delayed for too long.

“We are pressing that the report is made ready today. We are supposed to conclude everything about the report in August but the Sallah holiday affected the planned date. Though the government representatives have requested for more time, we feel that it is long overdue,” the source said.

On the amount labour was demanding, the source said it was not the issue at present and that the leadership of labour had before now proposed N65,500 and that the position remained the same.

On the allegation that the state governors opposed a new minimum wage, the source, who is a member of the committee, said already, governors had made proposals on what they wanted to pay.

He said: “Some of the governors have come up to propose how much they will pay in the new minimum wage, so, I don’t think that all of them have opposed the idea of new minimum wage.”

If the federal fix their minimum wage at 56k the state can fix theirs lower than that and if any state refuse to upgrade workers salary then the unthinkable should happen, but who has the balls to do the unthinkable?

If I get you right, prayers changes things,I am not urging anybody to pray as a christian but pray according to your faith. As for what you said about minimum wage,it is the least amount to be paid in a given country and as for state in that country ,they have the right to pay above and not below the minimum wage.

Honourable collegue,let's pray that today's meeting on the new minimum wage should go through and that the governors should bring in their own input today to the minimum wage. There are rumor in some quarters that the governors have refused to give their own figure on what the new minimum wage should be. The meeting is for today 4th and tomorrow 5th September 2018,it was to hold on the week the Muslim did their celebration and this will be the last meeting.
