I think that him advertising a car for 5m that he previously advertised for 3m as Nigerian used in 2022 isn't something we should scream blue murder about.. He isn't the cause of the crippling hyper-inflation in the country.

What 3m could buy in naija in 2022, even 6m fit no buy am now.. Bread I used to buy for 400 naira in 2022 is now 1400 naira and even less quality.... Mudu of garri was 180 naira in 2022, now it's 1k5 and still climbing..

Money value isn't calculated in its paper numbers, but its purchasing power.. Give or take, op's 5m asking price is substantially less in purchasing power than the purchasing value of his asking price of 3m back in 2022.

If we don't hold our leaders accountable, assets like cars that are supposed to depreciate over time will continue appreciating on paper.. It will get to a point where op will advertise this car naija used for 35m and he won't be out of line because at that point, 35m will be on par with the purchasing power of 1.5m a few years ago.

That being said, op, there is nothing luxurious about a 2008 CLS.... Neither is it a very reliable vehicle...It's a perfect vehicle for people looking for a vehicle that will drain them of their excess cash.. In summary, that car is for people looking to wrestle with their village people....
