Yes you can, I submitted same statement of account of 9million to school and for the visa processing too.funny enough the statement of account was even up to one month after print out but there was no issues

WHO DID YOU USE AS SPONSOR?

Did your bank call you? Did you also attach a reference letter to the account statement?

Good evening friends, in respect to this, I got a message last night to pick up my passport today. I was there, after opening the passport, I was denied the visa, stating that my account statement is a forged one. This is actually false, the account statement is a genuine one. But I need to reapply for another one, since the seminar I want to attend can be rescheduled for another date and venue. Please, when and how soon can I reapply? There is a stamp on one of the page of my passport, hope it's not indicating apply after six months? I need urgent response please. You guyz rock...

Remember you have 50/50 chances for visa approval when you are going for a degree way lower than your previous study.

Goodevening guys, i applied for tafe course on information technology in june, buh was denied no too long ago. I was distraught but my agent advice is that i apply for a B.sc programme, if I want to have a chance. Please guys what are my chances now iv bn denied?.

Does it mean they are just commencing process on my application that I submitted since 21st of August? I dont understand this south African embassy and there unstable mode of operation. However, I hope my visa drops in a week.

Yes they always contact your bank.

Please house, my bank just called me this evening from there headquarters to confirm if I applied for south African visa. Did anyone experience such Contact?

2. Employer did not provide account statement (multinational wahala). I was given just a letter.
3. I'm going for a conference
4. I contacted them severally via email. Like a reminder on my application and they responded saying that they have taken into consideration the date of the conference in their processing timelines. She also said that they were conducting external verification.

Hi Guys,

I applied on the 12th of September and I got my visa approved today. 2 weeks visa granted with single entry to attend a conference in Cape Town late October this year.

Just make sure you submit a verifiable/genuine documents.

Kindly answer the following questions;
1. Who did you use as your sponsor?
2. Did you submit only account statement and sponsorship letter?>
3. What study are you going for, Diploma or masters?
4. Did the case officer contact you?

Application date: Sept 12, 2017

Biometrics: Sept 12, 2017

Visa grant: Oct 3, 2017.

I'm facing the same thing. I applied since 21st of August at the VFS office in portharcourt. No news till date. Tracked and still receive the same status of " received and under review in the southafrican high commission in Lagos"

I just got my IELTS result and it goes LWRS,8,7.5,7.5,7.5. Age 26, bachelors Mechanical engineering, work experience in a company is 3 years.
My challenges are;
1) I have been working with an electricity distribution company and my role has been more of managerial than technical.
2) I dont have pay slips or Tax clearance. I only receive salary alerts no document to that effect aside statement of my Account.
3) should I continue with the masters and start the PR over there in Australia.

You can reapply and be watchful to know the window and interviewer to meet. I learnt a lot yesterday.

I hail you all, i went for my Interview in Lagos today which was by 8:45am and was interviewed by a young lady in window 1 i was denied below is my Transcript

Me: good morning
VO: your passport please
Me: I passed it to her
VO: where are you going to
Me: San Antonio
VO: why
Me: i hope to attend .... i mentioned the name of the conference, the organizer and people it is for, but she cuts me short
VO: Have you traveled out of Nigeria before
Me: Yes to Ghana and Dubai
VO: where do you work
Me: I told her where i work, my position and started telling her my duties then she cuts me short

Me: Yes
VO: do you have children
Me: I have a child
VO: Sorry ....You can reapply

All these communication was within 1min, and she has been dishing out blue paper to those before me that made the person behind me had to excuse herself that she wants to use the toilet and went and stand to be interviewed in another window, No white paper on her table only blue

The thing is that i really want to attend the conference as that is the only conference organized for people in my field of work which will really help me as individual and my organization at large, though the conference is in November my company will be paying for it " though i can also afford it" Please i need your suggestion if i should reapply or will it look as if i am desperate

I have not travelled out of naija. I have a wedding to attend in the US. I'm just perturbed as I am still single.

if truly your income is in the region of N500k per month why risk a journey to Ghana by road?
That journey if you eventually take it will be a minus instead of plus.. by the way have you traveled out of Nigeria before? if not why now when it's a few days to your interview.

please house, i will like to travel to ghana by bus with my international passport two days before my visa interview this week.i have a virgin passport and will like it stamped this period. Will this travel boost my chances of getting a visiting visa, i have a good paying job with an income stream of 500k per month. please i need your honest response on this.

I dont understand this message. I paid in Gtbank and I got a reference number. I tried to schedule an interview but they said my receipt number is not in the database. Now this is the reply I got after I laid a complaint. This is serious
