A lot of work needs to be done... we SHOULD be able to get out of this group by Gods grace
Brasil isnt a great team. Naija just had a bad day. Too many heavy touches, misplaced passes and very poor in the final third. It's important that they pick themselves up and correct individual errors for the next game.

african parents don't expect u to date but must bring home a husband by 24yrs!!! gosh so ridiculous.. undecided
And the girls keep buying 'em parents unsustainable selfishness. It's a real tragedy. Well ladies, in as much as you mustn't marry yourself into lifetime of unhappiness, it might be wise to consider the 'Mr nearly Right' option as clock ticks down. And when you find that good man KEEP him. U hear? F***kn KEEP him.

Honestly speaking, Kunle Afolayan is saying the truth and the fact. Even the igbos know this, we all see them, that's their business, piracy business. God heal our land..

Later, you will hear the igbos shouting and screaming they own nollywood, they are the creator of nollywood, they dominate nollywood, yet they are the one killing the same nollywood with high volume of PIRACY.

I love the igbos but they've caused so many troubles, I'm not a tribalist or a bigot but let's face reality, igbos are industrious but they just don't get it. I don't understand them, especially the ones that are not born in Lagos.

Please don't quote me... Just read and break a leg.

Meanwhile vote Ambode for continuity, its not Oba we are voting for. Ambode ni
U have not bought a pirated DVD yourself? The Igbos pirate and the Igbos buy them all by themselves abi? I dont know this Kunle of a guy but he obviously sound Yoruba. They say you don't like the Igbos and they know it. So much hate!

Drabeey:
She said she would help me travel to the States but she would keep me indoors in her house for 6 months pending when my papers allowing me to move around the US would be ready.

I'm already receiving 75,000 naira per month here in Nigeria and still single.

Please is there any advise from the house?
Sounds like BS....wow u just stay indoors for 6 months and this work permit or whatever will just turn up for real? U got mama America for a sister, that's!
PhonesRe: See My Museum Of Phones (photos Attached) by Archie30: 3:50pm On Apr 05, 2015
ITbomb:
I pity your children, if after using a phone you hoard it instead of giving it away.
My first phone was one small silver Motorola with green back light (I don forget the name),
Then Bird flip phone which I gave out after the neck break, the guy repaired it and use for another year
Then Sendo X, sold at give away price to get Sagem v55
I then bought Sagem S7 windows phone and gave away the old Sagem.
S7 was the heaviest phone I have ever held, got screen issues and no one got the spare. I was so broke that time it happened so I bought Nokia torchlight 1100.
When small money entered I bought E71, I was so in love with the phone with all its hacking tools (no be today) that when it was stolen I had to buy another one.
Then the Android wave came and I got a tecno N9 and use alongside the Nokia (I so much love what E71 could do with so little data and long battery life) until I left it in transport for some guy who called me to come and collect but later changed his mind, so bye bye.
I bought Opsson to replace the Nokia
Sorry why would you pity his children? It's actually an amazing collection.... it's some hard cash in attics.
Jokes EtcRe: Election Anxiety As Nigerians Are Forced To Become Mathematician (picture) by Archie30: 12:28am On Mar 31, 2015
Just how GEJ improved the lives of ppl in SE to deserve this support is beyond me. Once again, they ve been manipulated into ethnic, tribal n religious politics with absolutely nothing to show for it. Until we in SE, accept that we re the ones holding ourselves back, until we accept that on average we need to be educated more than the rest of the region then we ll stay losers in Nigerian pitch. In the last 4 yrs GEJ represented everything that's wrong with Nigeria and to think that's ok is very laughable. I hope that this change that's going to sweep across every corner of Nigeria will find honest meaning to the ppl in SE. Wake up guys, it's time to move on from the 60s.

There's no stopping this change. Jonathan had the biggest chance to do Nigeria good but...no no. I wish he and his scumbag politicians get locked away for a long time. Thank you Buhari for that Chatham House date. It's some hope. Go on and win this for Nigerians. Not for Hausas, Igbos or Yoruba. Win it for Nigerian own change

ok. i didnt know. but his reason for travelling was baseless
The reason isn't baseless. Even someone on benefit can still deny self and save for a family holiday over time. I know how many months it takes me to save for a family holiday. This applicant simply stood no chance. The visa officer was in no mood to hang about. Experience shows one with a confident personality and convincing responses stand the best chances at such interviews as US visas. Reapply next time and better luck ok.

TravelRe: Many Nigerians Living In Nigeria Hate Nigerians In Diaspora, Jealous Much? by Archie30:
Chrisbenogor: grin grin grin
Bros,
These days I have gravitated from being annoyed to just doing whats best for me, I love Nigeria and its that simple, I am proud to be a Nigerian. I am not proud of the way things are in Nigeria at the moment but I really have no qualms with being a Nigerian. For me Nigeria is a peculiar place with peculiar problems, our nature as Africans affect so many things we do.
The real question is, what constitutes a better life to you?
What constitutes a better life to me?
As long as we differ on the above questions then we are just arguing or like I put it earlier looking at things from different angles. Life is not easy anywhere, depending on what a person wants to achieve whats important to me and to you would differ. Some people I know practically live away from their families inside the deep water making money to "make ends meet", they earn money that still blows my mind away but my preference for wanting to be close to my family makes me different. When they release new cars (which only their wives drive by the way grin grin grin ) I turn the other way and manage my tuke tuke, because to me family life is more important. To some other people giving their family all the good material things of life is what the better life is, to others its values and ish like that. To me its a balance.
Here are the facts,
1. There are Nigerians living in Nigeria who have a better life than Nigerians living in the UK and the US.
2. There are Nigerians living in the UK and US who have better lives than Nigerians living in Nigeria.

But why the hell would someone with a Masters Degree be doing Mr. Biggs Security in cold cold cold Aberdeen? grin grin grin
kalimera101: I love Nigeria. I love nigeria so much that I will like to leave it.
Why?
Cuz I like the best of things. I leave nigeria to learn the best things out there and come back to teach it here. Learn the best, teach the best.
Change starts from moving, the Nigerian general attitude is to complain.
Oh. I do complain, In fact I complained today about this ASUU strike stuff. But my complains ain't gonna change anything.
Keep on doing the same old thing and expecting change is that not a loser's game.
I am well aware that my opportunites are limited here in nigeria but nothing beats working hard. MJ said start with the Man in the Mirror.
I can't hate Nigeria well enough, because I was raised here and if I was not born here I would not have been to appriciate what the western countries have to offer.
But all in all, Nigeria remains the best place to raise kids that won't stand up to u wen they 12 or in their teens to tell u "mom shut up" and u make a fuss about it, u find urself in court. That is not cool.
I agree, there is a lot of basic amenities that the western world have to offer that nigeria might not be planning to apply. But I believe we have the ability to change things.
USA-wasn't always the 1st World economy, china wasn't always the second neither was Japan always the third world economy.
They got to where they are by each citizen working together both diasporeans and the ones in the country.
No need to wait for the government always.
If u check the US well, a lot of properties and co-oporations are privately owned, they provide employment opportunities for people.
That's why, I'll always rep Dangote. The man is really trying with his efforts to help Nigeria in his own way even though he is still making money out of it. He has the money to take care of himself outside nigeria, but he still puts some here, why can't we try to become people like him instead of dissing and cursing then finally adding "Let's Pray for Nigeria", Abi God will climb down from heaven and say "because thee have prayed so hard, I will change this Nation."

This is my 2 yen.

The city's changed a great deal and it's definitely a growing economy here. I think you could only ever enjoy living here with a good job. The cost of living is going up everyday...well decent wage but you 'll ve to be an engineer or work in oil and gas to get that. If u aint into engineering or oil n stuff, go down south. Its hard a place for a black man to get a job. Seriously!

Lagos airport is the most corrupt airport on earth. Security personnel beg for money, custom officers intimidate u for money, ticket racketeering and them whole lot...THAT 'll NEVER HAPPEN IN ENUGU. This is long overdue. Its a massive news for the country and ppl in the east in particular. We ve had so much shit from that Murtala Mohammed airport. Disgusting place!
