datigbogirl:I refuse to accept u re anything close to being professional. When u start practicing u can come back here for a normal chat. And next time shut ur mouth if u re that empty. End off |
datigbogirl:U ve just heard a new about an exception to whatever u re used to experiencing. Sorry but u can't take away that credit from this guy. What he's achieved is the news here. I think its a bit bout hubris and arrogance to talk down a colleague's achievement and generalise whatever experience u may ve had. U re jealous cos u couldn't stand one exceptional FMG performance for once in ur life. And for ur info, Tedx can do a lot for ur patients...maybe if u work a lil bit harder to think outside the box u can understand that. Tell me who's lazy now. |
tensazangetsu:What most of them re got nothing to do with this brilliant individual and she could not take away any credit from what this young lad has achieved. That's why I will thank God for him. |
datigbogirl:U re just jealous and it ll never take you too far. Bless wetin? We re glad that even as bad as Philippines, Ukraine and Caribbean is(according to you anyways n u obviously been to these places) this young lad has been able to do a tedx. Its about this outstanding individual who happens to be Nigerian. If u n I could do half of what's he's achieved... |
Plz guys share link |
Segadem:Nope, Nigerian team has been pathetic. The guy on the left winger neglecting his defensive duties and exposing the left back. Malians ve practically leathered the poor left back. |
Bonapart:Google ORTM live Mali. Its in French but works brilliantly |
Boring Sunday in a North Sea platform. Someone deliver me with a useful link for this game plz. |
Marriage is holy and gracious. While nobody should disrespect any state of life, you could never succeed in talking down the holiness of married life. End off |
Imagine those kids 're aborted. And there's no uprise to it too. Generations ve been doing it. The girls re the brave ones tbh. It's not easy to raise a child and I commend them for resisting abortion. Talk bout baby papa? It's not enough to keep picking out the girls. |
psychologist:OMG...u re a such a laugh! From an Arsenal fan. |
You can easily tell how passionate this guy is about representing his country. He's hurting inside. He lost his mum. How sad could it ever get for anyone. He's obviously upset for being stripped of the armband. It's not his prerogative but things could ve been done differently, like a bit more professional. Managers re there to manage difficult situations and this isn't one to be honest. It's bout ego and hubris. It appears Oliseh wants to get rid of him really. At no point post this furore did the manager say the door is still open for Vincent. Enyema is the most experienced Nigerian player at the moment and a goalkeeper at 32 still has years ahead of him. This guy's experience is sadly going to be lost for a silly internal matter. I really hope this is sorted out and Enyema gets back to representing the country. We need him. The young players need his experience |
To treat the most senior player the way he has done is very disrespectful and unprofessional. I can understand why some people questioned Oliseh's coaching experience really but common! They say Oliseh is Nigerian Pep but I think he's more of a Roy Keane. As much as he was so influential Keane couldn't manager. I hope the group is not badly unsettled by this. It can certainly damage trust and credibility |
I hope Lagos State consulted properly and done good enough econometrics. Ambition is one thing, hubris is another. Obviously, there's evidence that an earlier demolition and reconstruction never really got to take off as expected. It's people who make the money, pay tax, they re the market. How you treat these people is part of corporate governance. It's very easy to lose everything just like that. Lagos as economically vibrant as its should never take even the littlest things for granted. I hope this is for all good. Just take a look at Birmingham; what it's now and what it used to be! |
GoodGovernance:I don't know how old u re but I was a heart broken teen supporter in pre-90s Super Eagles until a certain Dutch coach came on and did exactly what u suggested. I was watching a YouTube highlights of this game and I thought only home pros could have managed to play good football on that pitch. I keep saying this, until we get back to appreciating the talents we have in streets of every Nigeria state, things will never change. Think of it, our best players have always been home grown. Common sense isn't it? |
I watched the second half. Well it's too harsh to write off this performance. It's entirely different team and set up. Credit to the Tanzanians who were full of running. What I liked about the Nigerian team is the energy, particularly in the midfield. It's something that's been lacking. On another day they could have lost this game and for me this is a point won. Neither team deserved the 3 point. I think the emphasis was to close up spaces as quickly as possible. Oliseh must have known it's a fragmented team just now and will need to build on cohesion and link up play. Unfortunately he's in the middle of a tough African qualifiers which means he needs to get the points on board even when playing the worst of football. He's played with the players available to him and the truth be told, we no longer have outstanding players. This group did enough not to get beat. From Oliseh point of view, employing effective counter-attack could have killed off the overzealous Tanzanians. Then again, for all the pace in that team, they 're lacking creativity in the final third. Not good enough! I don't know the names of the Nigerian midfielders but for them Mikel fans, I just don't think Mikel could have cover as much ground as the midfielders who played today. What you do when you don't have the ball is as just important as being dominant in possession. Today, one positive was the former. They closed down well in good time but did absolutely nothing with the ball. Not a winning start for Sunday Oliseh but he knows he's got a massive job on his desk. Tough tough job. |
cmon:Calm down. Football is also what you do without the ball. Nigerians 've applied themselves well in the situation. |
Calm down peeps. U dont just turn up these days and win games. It took Egypt 60mins to open scoring against this team. |
CARLISTO77:Thanks a lot |
They stood, took photos and watched her bleed to death. They too ve blood in them hands. God bless the dead. RIP |
Vanquay:So you know u re sicko. Weirdo! |
hormordunneey:I find from my experience that it's hard to go from zero job to dream job. But it's easier to move from one job to another. I will advice this fella to take the offer and challenge himself. It's not about Nigeria. It's just tough everywhere. He studied in UK and should've been conversant with 'meal ticket' scenario. The good thing is that he's put himself in great future position with his education. You can dream all you can, but this is the reality. It's the place to be. This experience can challenge and stretch his aspirations. Ace it with belief , Ace it with 50k bro. It can only get better from there oooh nnanne! And just today, we learnt a Nigerian has the highest ebayUK turnover running in millions! Mind, he didn't start with a lot. |
Joavid:Don't judge this person. It's such a brave thing to speak out. If our social services worked, I'm sure she could ve had a better opportunity than the circumstances she's in just now. She can seek help and ironically thats what she's doing here; in Nairaland. She's being sexually exploited and the tradegy here is there's no system or structure to address such evils in our society. Yes she can do all the stuffs suggested but she needs to get from A to B. She needs help to do that. Surely kind hearted individuals here can help. Whoever this person is, you will never walk alone. Chin up! |
tiwasiaife:I hope you re able to help mate. We can support her thru nairaland? Some real help...finance etc? |
kombats:GTB charged me twice for the cost of my Internet key delivery. It's nearly two years now and I have not had my refund. I feel so taken for a nothing. I however decided I ll write the CEO. Thereafter I will instruct debt collectors to recover my money and that ll include invoicing them for every min and money lost in chasing this money. |
olumaxi:I'm as confused as yourself. This is a story about a Nigerian 'graduate' who was too stupid to figure out he's travelling to Malaysia on a visitor's visa and expect to get a job and start school without applying either. On a visitor's visa! Common, no sympathies! For Nigerians who re sincere about starting a new life anywhere in the world for that matter, please don't be deterred by stories like this one. Immigration law is there to guide you through a seamless and happy relocation. It's not there to be violated without consequences. If you re unsure consult with immigration experts. When the immigration officers re doing their job within the law, it's about border security. Do as you re told and nobody will ever treat you like a criminal anywhere in the world. Why do people leave Nigeria to other countries? It's perhaps the same reason why most people leave the countryside and villages to places like Lagos and Abuja. The difference here is that you chose to go to Lagos, he decided to go a Malaysia city. Nothing is wrong with that. Nigeria is a huge country and the idea is we will continue to impact values everywhere on earth. And I want to say here that most Nigerians been doing just that for ages. We ain't daft as a nation but when individuals decide to bring wahala to themselves in the name of travelling abroad we will have to ask how accountable they ought to be. I'm sure there're very successful Nigerians in Malaysia. So why wouldn't I go to Malaysia if I got it all planned out. I mean as a good Nigerian citizen. |
justwise:Our administrators ll never learn. You cant fault the players playing in this sort of pitch. To bring a national team to this sort of place, certainly someone has to be held accountable. Right, Keshi presumably inspected this stadium. Can they just sack him immediately if we fail to win this game? |
817:Manu will lose and win this game. Im not a coach but this is pretty simple. Why try to pass and play out from defence when the opponent is doubling up on you. We ve given so much respect to the Germans but do the simple things. If u plan long balls just long it. But I think that this nigeria team has skillful players that can make germans look around there shoulders. Right now there's no bother for them. I would get Moses and Nacho in. |
icon4ss:Yes ooh. But we ll get there. The signs re there. The girls look a bit too eager to impress. I'm not a coach but tactically we ve got a lot of learning to do. What's the game plan? I don't know. In a first group game, you ve got to play tight and compact. Against an experience team like Sweden n in such a difficult group, the priority should be to stay in the game, get something out of it and keep qualification hopes alive. Good luck to Naija. We re improving |
Amya:To think that it's ok for men to cheat is ridiculous. And that coming from a woman is really sad. Any woman who accepts infidelity as given or norm is absolutely lacking in self esteem. Why would you stay with someone who cheats on you? Sex is like eating? U 're a joke! Sex is everything about intimacy, it's your own sanctuary. Men would never condone partners cheating either and that's how it should be. Your opinion is very misleading. And I want to let young people coming on here to be mindful of individual opinion. You definitely deserve someone who respects your love and sanctity. Don't be taken for a ride. There's no justification for cheating...for a man and a woman! |
chiefololade:Nothing to do with being African mate. This is obviously a one sided story. Policy is there for compliance. For all I know there's one for people with mobility problem and disability. She's probably travelling alone and you can only do that if you are self reliant. By self reliant you 're for instance, able to unfasten your seat belt, reach an emergency exit, put on an oxygen mask and life jacket etc. Airline cabin crews 're not able to provide personal care and for safety reasons, airlines are entitled to require that people with disability travel with a companion if they 're not self-reliant. And that will include any president with such applicable and known disability!!! |
