Time and wisdom will show that no single person in a relationship has 100% influence on outcome. The acknowledgment of the knowledge of this is humbling and builds empathy rather than judgement Ebenezer2021: |

Two asks: 1. Find the heartless woman 2. Find the heartless video person that couldn’t shout for help. What if she killed the baby? When do we agree that it is more important to act to save a life than to capture an event? |
So even Banana Island isn’t spared of noise pollution . We would all collectively always reflect who we are regardless of our class. |
yunqdady:Moderators don’t seem to get that the quality of a discuss should start from the front page. That said, they should delete all non-related post on the front page of any topic….distractions can be tolerated in subsequent pages |
CBN’s recognized store of foreign currencies to aid transactions. Not deemed as an investment option. |
Have you considered that a law that support the conversion of those properties for state use is more progressive than demolishing it? How many school principals have decent accommodations? Do we have decent public healthcare workers lodges? The list can go on.... |
Interesting value system where the focus/attraction is on how much one spends versus how much was grown to enable the luxury. |
Is that a “dobaleing” for elder or accomplishment/money? If he doesn’t dobale for all his elders, then the selectivity has to do with the value the adult-figure brings to the table. The Yoruba “dobaleing” in the beginning was not to be deemed selective |
Money and what it can buy is overly hyped in poor communities. Can we choose to ignore folks whom have a lot of money. In turn the realization, like it is in developed world would be the exposure of poverty of ambition. Having more and more will only bring depression and like developed worlds, they seek opportunities to give more and more to community development and not hand-to-mouth philanthropy activities. |
Just thinking and would like to hear from folks who know better: If I am impeached as a governor (whether it is in my 1st or 4th yr). Does the constitution allow me to re-contest in the future? If yes, am I adjudged to have lost the term in which I was impeached? Implying should, I win, I can only serve a single term? If it is gray, to what extent can I exercise my ambition until the court takes a stand on it? |
How much? |
Ain’t we truly idolatrous and docile? Lacking in content, courage & self worth, we rather conveniently advance divinity that aligns with our superiors, than pursue critical thinking. Why do you take to the bank what you are taught without research? Do you deem it as questioning your superiors? It is an action that reinforces the truth / faith we confess. Are today’s preachers prepared? Did they spend adequate time in the furnace (as gold)? Their fruits are revealed by the quality of answers provided when questioned. On Giving: I am amazed when folks boldly say, come give to GOD in Africa (implies come drop in the offering basket). Africa (like other 3rd world) is the harvest. Step out and you will see poverty, help the helpless, you need no prayers. You will see your blessings chase you. The rationale for which outreach offerings are collected in the western world is because not everyone in the developed world can practically reach out to the harvest (3rd world). |
The wickedness going on in the land is broadly our choices on how we respond to the current economic hardship. Convenient to choose to identify whom to blame, and you may be right that most fingers (if not all) currently point to our leaders. For a second, let us remind ourselves that these leaders are not affected by the vast hazards our choices have created: cheating; giving undue favour/preference; substandard & repackaging of expired products; ethnic/tribal tussle; traffic robberies; pickpocketing etc. Talking down (insulting and blaming) our leaders is sure not the way out. Can we with tears in our hearts, painfully choose to deliberately ignore the potency of affluence in our local communities, state and country. Can we attempt to quench the flames fueled by these choices, where it is the most affluent that is considered to have the brightest ideas in our homes / social & religious gatherings etc? If we succeed, wouldn’t you agree there will be less value for senseless acquisitions & stashing of wealth? Our family units, social groups and religious institutions should reinforce teachings on how to respond in tough economic times. |

One gets confused if the protesting workers actually got an education before getting their jobs. I am embarrassed with the show of lack of knowledge. Go fix the money or leave it in savings account for 30 days, and you would have earned more than your Monthly Salary by the end of December. |
Grow yours. What value is a medal without sustainable growth in ability to deliver? I like to see Siasia fail again & again, and recognize that we are moving forward. Get a Nigerian coach (home-grown)....trust me, we can be our dreams....we only have to nurture it |
@Ijaya123: They are not foolish. The disease in Nigeria is "ignorance". Illiteracy do make people speak so confidently on "nonsense". Sadly, we have two facts: 1. A large proportion fall into the bucket titled "Ignorance". 2. It takes a while to educate generations of people neglected to provide for themselves, what would be regarded as basic levels of Knowledge and Character. If they were to sit quietly for a while to identify Nigeria's top 3 security challenges. Would they submit that the Leadership has erred in their priority of approach? Ijaya123: |

I consider you & your husband as clowns. Think about it, 5 kids in the 21st century (where world economies are threatened). Your husband has already setup, a responsibility, that what he demonstrates show he has no clue of the future requirements to deliver to them, decent sustainment & competitive advantage amongst their peers. He even flaunts a mistress! You need to get some education & help build the home you have consciously or subconsciously setup for yourself. Ignore your husband actions for now (he won't change anytime, soon). Focus on building a future for your 5 kids. Invest in them (financially & morally), for that is likely what you will reap. I will divide the travel time by 5. All 5 of us, then gets a fair share of rest time... |
You think he bought them? They were gifts for favours sort or received! It is a shame that the black race can't differentiate critical-few from trivial-many ....appreciate my patronage / thank me, by building a school / expanding an existing school's facility; providing potable water; innovative small scale drainage system; innovative small scale waste management system in any community of choice ...all these examples have capital cost equal to each individual waste asset in the picture above. |
Did Islam not exist before this acts of violence? Why consider relabeling Islam because of new findings? A saying goes, if you fight me, then you cannot claim to be a part of me. Ginaz: |
You think this is a job for PMB alone? He is doing the best that can be done - strategic degradation. Do your part - surveillance - see something strange?; say something to another; do something until it gets addressed They didn't fall from the skies - help the government help you. KingKonga: |
great! |
Thanks for your facts....this administration has chosen to do the right thing, not the better of two evils....We will strengthen our institutions to meet today and future demands |
This shows the primary purpose of being there is making a living, and what is most ludicrous is the fact that almost about the most noble man from that region thinks that with more money legally pushed into his pocket, he will overcome the will to the evil - corruption ...."I told him if I get that for 10 months, I will resign....Legislators should earn well so that they will not be corrupt during their oversight functions" |
Looks like a high density location - no neighbours caught it at incipient stage? |
