Sociology is beautiful to study, I would strongly advise that you consider taking professional courses and try as much as you can to spend your free time learning outside the walls of the school, You can take up marketing, sales or even social media marketing courses online while you are in uni.

Sociology creates a very vast foundation for you. As a sociology graduate, you would have understood the basic concepts in numerous fields, Politics, Marketing, HR, Economics, Psychology, Criminology, Town planning, Accounting, even to some extent Medicine, and lots more. So if you do not intend to further streamline your study in any of the fields Sociology must have prepared you for, Just try to graduate with at least 2.2. So you can submit your CV everywhere like we all do in Nigeria.

Moving on, I think we should reach out to elderly ones who are trustworthy, a few of them are still out there. We also need to ReGroup, Strategize the execution.

An Open Letter To Governor Kayode Fayemi: 'Making Ikogosi Resort Disability Friendly'

Women and Children with disability Initiative (www.womenchildrendisability.org) is a Non-Profit/Nongovernmental Organization founded in 2010 by Mrs. Funmi Olagunju; spouse to a late visually impaired person with a passion for affecting the lives of persons with disabilities.
On the 5th of August 2019 Women and Children and Children with Disability Initiative embarked on an excursion to Ekiti State.

The first place of our visit was the palace of Aroyinwonyo in Okemesi-Ekiti on the 5th of August, 2019, being the home town of the founder of the organization. We were received by the Chiefs of the town as the Oba was out on an assignment.
We proceeded to Ado Ekiti where we planned to stay for the period of the excursion

We were hosted by Mr. the founder of Crystal Music and Film School who sponsored the excursion then met with Hon. Odunayo Ehinafe who generously offered to house the entire 14 visually impaired children for the two weeks of the excursion.
At Crystal Music and Film School, the children had one-week intensive music training, it was awesome as we also had a music concert each day after the training.
We paid a courtesy visit to Yeye Aare Afe-Babalola on 13th August 2019 who opted to sponsor the children’s trip to Ikogosi Warm Spring and Resort on the 14th August 2019.

I want to especially thank the Governor of Ekiti State for passing the bill on the right of persons with disabilities in Ekiti State.
On the 14th August 2019, 14 blind children from Lagos State led by the founder of Women and Children with Disability Initiative Mrs. Funmi Olagunju, a native of Okemesi Ekiti visited Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort as part of their excursion to Ekiti State during the 2019 long vacation. We were received by the Managing Director of the Resort, Mr. Ayo Ademiluwa. The observation from the point of entry into the Resort is that it is not disability-inclusive as much energy has to be used in leading the children into the resort. Although the children had a great day at the resort, all thanks to the Managing Director.

As a Governor who is so passionate about persons living with a disability, I am appealing to you to please make the resort accessible to these group of people as you will agree with me that these people too need to enjoy what other able people are enjoying. Some parents/guardian of children living with disabilities from far and near would love to come with their children and spend time at the resort if the place is disability-inclusive.

The Result of The All Progressives Congress Primary Election in Ifako-Ijaiye Federal Constituency conducted on 4th of October 2018 has been hijacked and the returning officer whisked away by the chairman of Ifako local government, Apostle Oloruntoba Oke and Hon Lanre Rasheed Makinde, a law maker representing Ojokoro 01 in the Lagos State House of assembly. Makinde who led a gang of thugs to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere in Ward H also sent one of his boys, one Mr Yisau , a civil servant in Ojokoro LCDA to hijack the result of Ward H. The police however intercepted, and he was arrested

After the results have been taken to the Ifako Local government secretariat , Aina Ajobo street , Toba Oke and Makinde who reports has it that they have conspired to work for one Mr Owolabi were intercepted by the executive chairman of Ojokoro local government,Hon Hammed Idowu Tijani, HID at Abeokuta Street near the council secretariat in Ifako after they have stolen away the overall results.

The where about of the returning officer who is said to be the son of one of the APC chieftain in Lagos State, Hon. Enilolobo, is still unknown as at the time of filling this report.

The good people of Ifako Ijaiye are thereby making a plea to the police, all concerned citizens and stakeholders in Lagos State as well as the State and National working committee of the All Progressives Congress to come to their rescue.

However the social media has been a washed by scanned piece meal results as signed by the INEC officials by some concerned citizens of Ifako Ijaiye. The results has it that Hon. Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo is leading convincingly.
