All @lightup's ads have a "call to action" only one of @Yusuf16's ads have that. That would have swung it for me in Lightup's favour. Having said that they are both very good, clean and creative |
TM Lewin, Hawes and Curtis are all mass market brands now and their quality has fallen as they chase market share by aggressive discounting. You should try people like this guys http://www.emmettlondon.com/ for quality two ply cotton shirts and you will not step out of your yard and see 30 people rocking the same shirt as you. |
In a release by CBN which was made available to Vanguard through e-mail, the victims are: Amiaka Raphael.O (Senior Manager), Antonia Attuh (Senior Manager), Bamaiyi Adamu (Senior Supervisor).Antonia was featured today in the local paper here in London. @PosterThought about that, but I think a series of individual complaints may carry more weight and prevent the BBC from dismissing this as being sent by a few individuals. |
Hertnite. Freedom entails rights and responsibilities and the readiness to accept consequences. I accept not everyone will share my revulsion at what he says, and I'm fine with that. The appeal is to people who do. |
If like me you find David Starkey views horrendously offensive take a stand. Raise you complaint with the BBC @ https://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/forms/ We complain often, but sometime we need to stand up and be counted. |
Okada man thanks, will do |
I don't know -- you tell me !!! I am simply asking QUESTIONS to ascertain how this WORKS!People are free to be outraged by what ever they find outrageous. They are free to be outraged at any time in their lives any previous apathy notwithstanding. On this issue I am not insisting people be outraged, merely pointing out that if you are you can do something. |
I don't live in Nigeria now. When I did I had no hesitation in making my views known. If there is something you want my support on I am receptive. Having said that even if I had never protested or complained about anything, should that now stop from being outraged about this? |
If I heard a view I found offensive in Nigeria and there is a channel to complain. I would. |

The full draw http://worldcup-2010-news..com/2009/12/world-cup-2010-all-matches-all-venues.html Nigeria has a tough task we need to bring our A++ game Argentina are always going to be tight and deserve respect as a team that has won the World Cup twice and appeared in the finals 4 times Greece have developed a defence that is tighter than a virgin and on top of that are now scoring goals as well, plus they are ex-European champions While Korea have qualified for the World Cup 8 times (albeit from a relatively easy Asia group) plus are WC qtr-finals |

Bros (abi na sista) on the List in the link they had Michael Bloomberg Mayor of New York as no.1 Steve Jobs CEO of Apple as No2. That's was what I was on about. |
I don't think the two people at the top of the list should be there as they are a Politician and a CEO respectively but from the rest the richest is Steven Spielberg George Lucas Giorgio Armani Ralph Lauren Oprah Winfrey Full list http://15bytes..com/2009/03/richest-celebrities-in-world-2009.html |

Dem don Chop our Dollar !!!!! The UK government earned close to £10 million in fees paid by rejected visa applicants from Nigeria and Ghana. Figures from the UK Border Agency show that between 2006 and 2007, of the 247,765 Nigerian visa applicants 125,386 were rejected while the figures for Ghana show 49,025 applications and 27,610 rejections. With a single entry visa application typically costing £65, and a non-refundable payment having to be made when the applications is submitted, the rejected visas netted the UK government close to £10 million. http://www.clickafrique.com/Magazine/ST010/CP0000002839.aspx |
Stock guru's, What do you guys think about Intercontinental Bank plc? They claim - Largest Bank in Nigeria by capital - Fifth largest Bank in Africa - 355th largest bank in the World - 2nd fastest growing bank in the World (presumably fastest growing bank in Africa). - Over the five years Profit has grown at an average of 63%. They have - High profile investors including Warren Buffet (through AIG) & First Rand of South Africa - Fitch Rating (Credit Rating) of A, which I think is one of the highest amongst Nigerian Banks. - Had a falling Return on Equity but claim that is due to major capital investments and expect it to turn around this year. So What is the feeling about Intercontinental. I haven't heard a lot of discussion about it in terms of its reputation and Stock performance. It has a huge war chest, and with First Bank alledgedly raising N500bn where are these companies going to deploy their funds? I can imagine the loan market for high quality clients (Telecos, Oil Coys) etc is now very competitive, where are the new additional returns going to be generated from? |
