Don't blame the man yet, it maybe paternity fraud, don't trust women
Every man should do paternity test. Even the nicest woman can be a paternity fraudster. In fact, the woman being very nice is what makes the man to suspect nothing. The perfect format.

The child that resembles you can still belong to your brother, cousin or anyone close. It can even belong to the hubby's randy father. We have already seen it all in real life. Most people are blissfully unaware of how depraved people can be these days.

Even if she's a paternity fraudster, no need beating her. That's the benefit of doing the test ASAP. Send her packing or leave the house for her. No long story.
PoliticsRe: Collapse Nigeria Into Zones, Ex-Envoy Prof Akinjide Osuntokun Tells FG by AreaFada2: 6:31pm On Oct 22, 2025
Wow! Prof is looking almost as young as he was over 30 years ago. This man and his staff suffered long periods of no salary at the embassy back then. Especially in the early part of Abacha govt. Thanks for your moral support back then, Sir.

Yes, the Eastern Region bit doesn't quite gel. Leave the geopolitical zones as they currently are in the South. No time to waste. The Middle Belt part may need some realignment later.
No new states. Reduce the FG's exclusive list DRASTICALLY to Currency/Central Banking, Foreign affairs, Interior as it it applies nationally/Federal Police for interstate offences, immigration, Supreme Court and military/Defence but more decentralised and a few more critical matters.

Much of policing, local infrastructure, education, health, employment and others go to regions. Abolish states and introduce districts/Local Councils/mayors to be at the heart of local development. No commissioners, SSAs/SAs and thousands of political jobbers. Cut parastatals and useless Board of this and Board of that, this and that Authority. That will cut the waste.

Each region can operate their own preferred legal system. Some can forbid alcohol, pork and hotels if they feel those are their biggest problem.

That's how 9ja lost the slot to Egypt's Boutrous-Ghali. The Americans refused his additional tenure and it went to Ghana's Kofi Annan.

SmartPolician:
The only human beings that women have the mental capacity of helping are those they have blood relationships with.

If you ever go out there thinking that you need to marry a woman because she's doing well and she will help you or that her family will help you, you are making the biggest mistake of your life.

Females aren't wired to be kind to other people they don't stand to gain something from! This is no bashing ; I'm only stating a fact
The Bible wisely did not instruct women to love a man. They can't. They only love the "security" a man provides and their own blood kin.

Anybody else: stepchildren, in-laws, or whatever are meddlers in their view. But some wisely play the game to look good. The ideal scenario for them is a rich orphan guy whose siblings are also rich.

So you now expect a lady to be feeding a boyfriend? No way. Unless she can see a huge reward ahead soon. She can collect money from sugar daddies to sponsor a guy short-term. Maybe when both are still students on campus but not long-term.

Some people will just open their mouth and say rubbish fueled by shameless ignorance. Small time now, they will start claiming that they travel more than all other tribes. Yet, their traveling has not enlightened them enough to know that several local governments in kogi state belong to Yorubas.

Bunch of empty chest-beating noisemakers!
Lol. Those people you are referring to are the most travelled people within 9ja. They know everything you wrote and more.

What they are saying is based on their perception that SW does not recognise or admit that their biggest threat is from the North, not East. Not the entire North, but still from the North.

Yes. It is very hard to grasp compared to others you outlined. Pharmacology is another difficult field. My problem with the general field is that money no too dey am esp in the nascent stages of one's career. Also, they are a dime and a dozen - so too many professionals pursuing fewer jobs.
Yes, pharmacology is underrated a lot. But it underpins therapeutics. Considering the importance of toxicology and metabolism. Pharmacology is a bit niche as a standalone course. Most would prefer a biochemist, microbiologist or geneticist. But in reality, the fundamental training has a lot in common. At least, as it is done in the West.

Pharmacogenetics has been a bit of a disappointment. 20 years ago, we thought it would revolutionise care in less than 20 years. Maybe it's too costly or the guardians are not ready for it. Or just maybe if some medicines don't suit some people from genetic analysis, it could affect the sale of some drugs.

Both have no oil companies registered/headquartered or highly operational in them. They are also not nearby to industrial hubs.

If we promote agriculture and agro-allied/food processing, Benue and Taraba will benefit a lot.

CultureRe: Edo Origin Of The Word Egusi And Its Deep Root To Her Culture by AreaFada2:
gregyboy:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MelonThe Edos’s, also known as the Benin people, who currently reside in Benin City, can be traced to the foundation of the popular Nigerian cuisine called egusi soup. The melon plant, specifically Cucumis melo, is believed to have originated in Central Asia, with its cultivation spreading to other parts of the world. While some sources suggest an African origin, the current consensus leans towards Southwest Asia. The melon's journey includes early cultivation in Iran, India, and other parts of Central Asia before spreading to Europe and eventually the Americas, while its origin is found to be from the Asia region Europeans traded it from Asia to Europe and Africa ,it got to the edo people of Nigeria as a gift from the Portuguese traders to the Oba of Benin same goes for cotton seeds both of this crops were eventually converted for food, the melon was used to make eguisi soup and cotton wool was used to make the cotton soup called ikpowu which has gone extinct in the edo dishes,But the egusi soup has managed to stay and accepted across Nigeria tribes this is due to its usage in the religious courts and festive rites of the edo people in the once benin empire the word eguisi was corrupted from its original word ogi -isi , melon which stands for ogi in the edo language and isi in edo language which stands for afar or foreign this is to further emphasize the crop melon was foreign, regardless of these very fact there is another aspect to this evidence we cannot ignore that is deep rooted in edo language the words called ikpowu(cotton soup) and ikopogi(melon soup) this are alternative names this food also goes by in the edo language and it holds a key evidence to its origin the words called ikpo stands for ikpototoki which translates to Portuguese in edo language

CelebritiesRe: Phyna Sister, Ruth Otabor Dies After Dangote Truck Accident by AreaFada2: 9:37pm On Sep 01, 2025
chaloskyx:
If a Dangote truck is the at-fault vehicle, and the insurance is active, the insurance company must cover compensation, subject to policy terms. The amount paid depends on assessment and policy limits.

There are several documented cases where Dangote Group has gone beyond insurance obligations to provide direct compensation:

Anambra Market Accident (2018): A Dangote truck crashed into a market, resulting in the deaths of at least three people. The company, through its insurer (NEM), paid ₦10 million to affected traders.

Abuja–Lokoja Road Accident (2017): Sixteen cattle dealers lost their lives in an accident involving a Dangote truck. Each family received ₦500,000, totaling ₦8 million in assistance.

Ondo State University Accident (2021): Eight students were killed when a truck drove into roadside shops. Dangote provided ₦500,000 per family for funeral expenses, along with additional insurance coverage and support for injured survivors.

Pursuing ₦1 billion in compensation through litigation is unrealistic unless supported by strong legal grounds. Any payout whether through insurance or court judgment is ultimately subject to thorough assessment and applicable policy or legal limits.
If a Southern businessman's trucks were finish people off at this rate, he would be in trouble by now. But the elite are above the law, especially Northern ones.

May her soul rest in Peace. One of the most serious complications of long bone fractures is pulmonary embolism. Moreover, considering the sanitary state of most Nigerian hospitals, we can't rule out overwhelming infection too.
Thank you my brother.
The thing is, we don't know how much blood she lost internally. She could have had a pelvic bone fracture, and it appears at least a long bone was fractured, to loose that limb. These can cause massive blood loss and affect organs. How good and soon was the initial trauma care?

It's a miracle she didn't die of shock soon after. Perhaps because she was young, fit and vital organs were in top shape.

As for infection risk, antibiotics available to use might even be fake. And you think doctors' exodus has no serious impact on the quality of trauma management and surgical hands available?

The average 9ja has no idea just how deep the mess in all sectors is.

RIP to her.
