placeofallure:Madam, the thing between her leg is her only asset. That kinda girl will cheat heavily, always selling her wares to the highest bidder. If 80k is not doing anything in her life, it's probably what she gets from other guys outside that does. The guy na first class mumu. Why should an entitled gf know your salary? On the flip side, the guy probably inflated his income to form big boy. See the result now. ![]() |
kingbee90:They don't care. Their families are already abroad. 9ja can burn for all the looters care. |
ade4real2016:My brother, as it stands, Obas, Igwes, sarkins and other chiefs did far better before colonialism. Even the British saw how good traditional rulers were and used them for indirect rule. We just dey demonstrate craziness in 9ja and call it democracy as Fela said. ![]() |
Obyangel:CDS na officer without portfolio. He commands no army. Na figurehead leader in the skewed 9ja system. Service chiefs of the 3 Armed Forces have more power. CAS/army is the most powerful. |
olas24u:My friend you have totally lost it. So you mean all the hungry people in SW are paid by Igbo people? In your own mind, poor people in SW have no right to complain unless they are paid? Haba! You can do better. You have the elitist idea that only the middle class should matter. Listen, no matter the pretence, everybody go collect. Igbo that occupy your mind so much are not protesting. Honestly, the protest has no merit. Tinubu never debated or presented any concrete plans during campaign. How can you hold someone responsible for what he didn't promise? However, citizens have the right to protest if they choose to. |
olas24u:And an omoluabi that swears at others? Our ancestors will be very proud of you. So because you the king of all Yoruba, the Yorubas of Ivory Coast, Benin Republic, Togo and others have no right to be Omoluabi. Your poor education makes you assume that every Yoruba is omoluabi, even if he's a fraudster, skull miner, or inept politician. Good luck with your tribalism. |
olas24u:This is the tribalism problem worrying the youth. Anyone that has a different opinion is Igbo. For your information, the current hardship affects everyone. The Northern masses didn't benefit from Buhari, SS masses didn't benefit from GEJ and SW masses are in ebi npawa throws like 95% of Nigerians. Look around you, do you see the omoluabi ethos of our ancestors in most people today? If even 20% of Nigerians had omoluabi ethos in practice, 9ja won't be this bad. Look at my posts since over a decade to know who I am. Please don't insult a tribe I have nothing to with except being fellow 9ja and we all want progress. If you hate Igbo so much, show it separately, don't link it to my post. |
With what happened in neighbouring countries in recent years, Tinubu should better wise up. Arrogance won't yield anything good. |
Abee79:I guess the ministers are even happy it was postponed. You know in 9ja politics, you can't say the truth. They would have only gone to FEC to say "yes sir". |
olas24u:Of which there are probably only 1% of people today. Or you want to count the thieves we have in leadership positions these days as omoluabi? |
True, GEJ gave Dangote waivers. Which country does not protect key industrial base? Only banana republics. Did Dangote set outrageous interest rate and bad economic conditions that deny SMEs access to funds for investment? No. But which govt since IBB till Buhari has not given him waivers to ensure the growth of big industry through him? To be fair he has become a big employer in 9ja. Did Dangote ruin the Naira in the past year? No, he didn't. Did Dangote mismanage oil subsidy removal? No. Has Dangote stopped repair of refineries over the past 30 years? No. |
RaptorX:This is serious. |
So upon the English this oyinbo pepper just dey blow, na this yeye thing he dey celebrate? Ok, this marathon issuing of statements has now stopped ebi npawa outcry. A bag of 50kg rice is now back to 8-10k where GEJ left it. |
PHIPEX:Germany was number 3 behind USA and Japan for about 60 years after the war until China and India rose recently. Before WWII Germany already had one the best and heaviest industry and coal mining sector in the world. Innovation was massive during the war too. After the war, Germany focused on industry, automobile, engineering, Steel, machinery, chemical industry, etc. Their post-war Chancellor called Konrad Adenauer told Germans that the only way for them to earn respect was through economy and production. Since love from other people will be scarce due to Hitler's atrocities. So, earn respect at least. And they listened. Mercedes Benz, VW, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Siemens, Bosch, Bohringer Ingelheim, Hoechst, Bayer, Krupp/Thyssen, and more got to work. They became the world's factory and supplier alongside Japan for decades. Until China, South Korea, Taiwan and others joined the world factory league. Margaret Thatcher moved UK away from manufacturing to financial sector and services. Industries and coal mining were going down anyway. France was number 4 world economy until about 2002. Since 1945. China and India have since moved ahead. UK has slightly moved ahead too. The middle classes and educated/productive population has increased dramatically in Asia since past 30 years. So, growth had to come at some point. Africa, if a little serious. will grow too. But countries eventually grow and reach their peak. China will overtake USA within 15 to 20 years. UK and France already reached their peak decades ago. There is no extra large population to rise to middle class/produce more. They now focus on producing more high-end products and services. |
Zooposki:Correct. Only very few women can cook to my taste. Everybody cooked in my house growing up, boys and girls. My mum didn't send any gender. Till today when I eat people's food, 95% don't balance the seasoning, salt, water and oil well. Even when they spent lots of money and ingredients. Some will cook moi-moi full of salt Some cook as if they are allergic to vegetable. Most women after eating my food have remarked on it: from 9ja/African to Oyinbo ladies. Even South American and Asian origin fellow students back in the day. |
BarrElChapo:This judgement is good. Governors will begin criticising Tinubu more now. LGA chairmen will place orders for new SUVs sharp sharp. Local girls don hammer. Local council election will now be do or die. Democratised looting is here. Share the money Wards will soon demand for autonomy too. |
adebowales Aside that you want to chop egusi and ogbono: Does your fiancée have any serious fault? Has she cheated on you? Any strong disapproval from her family? Do you envisage any serious issues with her in the future? Any other cogent reason to break up with her? If it is no to all the above, start looking for another salesgirl. Take time to teach her the job and pay her well too. Then, politely ask the current salesgirl to go. Thank you. |
It's England's time to win. Not because they have always been impressive, aside about 4 players. But because they are better than what they have shown so far. They also keep playing better and have lost the fear that held them back over the years. Reaching Euro final back to back is no fluke. Spain has been impressive from first game but pound for pound not as good as Xavi-Iniesta generation. Not yet. It will be a watershed for whichever side that wins will and shape the next decade for them. History Beckons. |
Domainer1999:No o, na Elephant Blue detergent. Yamal runs midfield and defence of opponent ragged and tired. Not to mention his transition speed and crosses. At 16 o. I simply marvel the maturity of Yamal, Nico Williams, Musiala, Mainoo and such players at their age. Quite special. |
cassidy1996:Afemesan was close to being created by Abacha but Esan and Edo North could not agree on state capital. In particular, late chief Anenih would not agree to Auchi as state capital. I would like more Edoid states including Afemesan, one for Edo/Benin and Urhobo/Okpe/Isoko. They can also find a way to add Ilaje/Ugbo, part of Ondo Akoko people and Itsekiri to form Warri State. Then also Owo/Ose state, then Ijebu state. Or just dissolve states and create regions and local councils only. One Premier and one deputy premier per region instead of 36 governors and deputies. Local mayors will focus on grassroot development. NW, NC, Benue-Plateau, NE, SE, Bendel, SS, SW, Lagos, FCT and maybe another region in that massive Middle Belt with a bit added from the NW. |
YoshihideSuga:https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/famous-black-inventors-and-their-inventions/ See that link for some. Oh yeah, now you will say you mean blacks in Africa. |
Thewrath:Nor mind them. Common light, they can't provide. Fuel too, failure. Water nko, for where. Dangote provides all to run his business. Naira, una govt destroy am. How will cement price nor go up? He runs his business to make profit, not loss. They want huge alert from Dangote. Corrupt entity. |
Cmanforall:We have to do more to bring women into politics. Same should be done for people under 40. Left to greedy politicians, they won't ensure anything in those parties. Only the law of the land can guarantee it. Fee waiver or reduction is insufficient. There should also be a limit on spending during campaign with stiff punishment for those who flout the it. We must sanitise the polity and make it fairer. |
Good idea but wrong method. It should be within the current number of senators and reps. At least one senate seat for women in each state and 2 seats in HOR. To be rotated around each senatorial district/constituency in each state. |
When you take people for a fool for too long, when alarm go blow, the centre cannot hold. These lot are making it inevitable. |
thesicilian:That money is more important than money spent on wedding or any damn sh!t. If you have not done DNA test, you have no kids. A relative's 3 kids belonged two other men. One of the men was his cousin. So a child resembling you is no reason to say it's yours. A girl can be dating your cousin or your friend and you without both you and your cousin/friend knowing. That cousin or friend may already be married. When she's preggy and brings it to you, you may decide to marry. By the time your cousin/friend find out the babe is one they are still sleeping with, they will agonise but will choose to be quiet. She will even beg the friend/relative to be quiet. AND may continue sleeping with them in marriage |
johnog4sure:It's Ige Babatunde. He is a Ba'ale. Ba'ale is not an Oba but mostly a Quarter head representing a paramount ruler in the area. Although some are more independent. However, a few Ba'ales eventually get raised to the level of an Oba by the state governor. Depending on connections. A little Cannabis farm of 5kg is really not much. They should licence them to produce it for medicinal use. But if distributing and transporting bags and huge quantities about, jail straight. |
Akinpresident:Much of central African countries already use F.CFA/XAF. 6 countries. So let's do a dry run with regional currencies first. If East Africa and Southern Africa do same, it will be easier to achieve convergence with 4 currencies than over 30 currencies. Africa-wide, with Gaddafi gone. I believe North Africa won't join anytime soon. I can't see Morocco and Algeria working together on that. Too many differences including over Western Sahara. Sub-Saharan Africa should go ahead quickly. My worry is that there are too many pockets of major insecurities across the continent: Boko, Casamance, Sahel area, Libya, Ethiopia, Sudan, Somalia, DRC, etc. These can destabilise a joint currency. |
Akinpresident:ECO rate to dollar should be same across WA but our people wicked reach to pervert it. ECO could be 100 to a dollar in Lome but 145 in Lagos or Abuja. If the thing nor work other West Africans will blame Nigerians. There will be much counterfeiting and our people will be the champions caught with it mostly. Politicians will stash much of it at home and buy more properties across WA more easily. Otherwise, it's long overdue. But trade and setting up business across the bloc should be truly free and easy first. |
Nah! Money from abroad has propped up the country for too long. FG even counts remittances as achievement of government. People should hold government at all levels responsible: FG, State and LG. Money from abroad will only delay the inevitable: A massive showdown between corrupt politicians/ govt at all levels versus the people. |
Mumu man. You did not study the kids before marrying a single woman. The ride is never easy. No stigma but reality. The guy was lucky. They could have kpai him and nothing go happen. May be the girl prefers another boyfriend of her mama. That hubby "visiting" arrangement sef get as e be. Wise people say "nothing you go do for step pikin make e call you papa". |
