Lol. I no be Oga o...

Capitulation is when investors morale is low from low prices/extended bear market and they give up/surrender entirely in the market and start dumping in excess. Volume will be increasing and prices will keep jumping down for a while.

This is very different from what you are seeing now. When that time comes you will know. Lol!

With GTB collapsing below its regular N35 support to as "far" as N33.35 and Dangcem unable to sustain at N190 now N185.50, we may be in for a furious bear fight.
The cherry-picking can only get better.
Remember though, that sometimes, the best trade is no trade!

pls is TB still safe?
If tb is not safe I don't think banks would invest billions of naira into it and don't forget some of depositors fund are hugely invested in tb and if it not safe then the whole nation would be in commotion if tb fails.

Congrats for taking decision to have financial freedom however, you need to pls read some pages on this thread and also always good for you to read much about where you want to put your hard earned money. So walk into any of their branch and tell them you want to do tb and you have 100k am sure they would put u tru if they accept 100k or not.

Buying in anticipation of this dividend is still trading on hope.

The way you've analysed it now, what if I convince my brother to sell his house, and even get an extra 50m facility from the bank to put on this stock. so that we buy at #25, and collect #10 dividend.

I think there may be other plans they'll have for those proceeds.

-pay special dividends
-deleverage
-acquire new assets
your brother should not try such ooo many may not still know much about FO in my own opinion. It goes beyond surface paper analysis

Dear House .. We should watch out for FO as something very positive may be on the way. With the proposed sale of the Upstream, Foreign and Power Businesses, these have been presented on the 2018 FYE Balance Sheet as ASSET CLASSIED FOR SALE at N91.7Billion and there is a N31.6Billion as the corresponding LIABILITIES DIRECTLY ASSOCIATED WITH ASSETS CLASSIFED AS HELD FOR SALE. When the Sales are concluded, these give a NET of N60Billion which will surely go higher as the Balance sheet valuation is book value and market/sale value should exceed book value. The balance of this NET of N60Billion when the portion for Non-Controlling Interests are taken out leaves a very huge balance that will be attributable to Owners of the Company. Considering Femi is selling down his stakes in FO, then this NET attributable to Owners of the Company should be paid as SPECIAL DIVIDEND from sale of Assets. So we should be looking at a very major special dividend very very soon from FO which could be the highest dividend yield NSE will see in a long long while. If these sale has been concluded within Q1, then the special dividend could be announced with the Q1 result... N7/N10 or even a higher sum as Special dividend?

I will appreciate comments from my big Ogas in the house..
hmmm. The more you look into FO the less you see. Your analysis may not work in the long run!

Lol, today I will enter all sound fundamental stock, let all drop.
grin grin grin grin grin
I am not the problem I believed there are members here who serve as village group monitoring my comments in this forums grin grin grin, and I notice that any stock I secretly enter I will make a huge amount of money, but the moment I post any stock I entered in this forum by way of advertising it, they will show up bringing one reason or the other why it must not fly, look at Caverton and Chams, the moment I said I am out of Chams they allowed the stock be, but they are still punishing Caverton, because they still believe that I am still inside.

From today, I will be entering stocks secretly, and making my money without them knowing it. grin grin grin
And will reduce my post, or stay away for sometime, but not out from NSEM.
King Chibu, hold tenaciously to whatever investment plans/strategies and pls less talk! my 2 kobo for you. i sometimes seek opinions here on any stock i have interest but i still have my final decision intact so follow your instinct. when u get to the market u need to face the transaction u went there for and not the noises in the market. Even if you get your finger burnt is still your decision and if you made bumper harvest is still your decision.

I don't know but I will rather deal with caution. Same for Elumelu/UBA. Makanjuola/Caverton, Balogun/FCMB, Wigwe/Access etc. I am not saying you cant make money from these shares but just be aware of the risks you run. Truth is that these CEOs have their boards in their pockets and they let you know only what they want.

From a retail investor perspective, perish the thought of saying you are investing in those companies for the long term. You will most certainly lose in anything nearing the long term. Look back at the graveyard or hospice of NSE. Its has an equal number of once "great companies" as those that were outright frauds during boom period. A few more great companies are are already reaching out for the phone to dial ambulance.

Just a matter of time...
Thanks my oga, i have already said bye bye to long term investment stuff . I survived skye bank but was not lucky with phb, oceanic and intercontinental, i have learnt my lesson.

You can count the number of quoted companies in Nigeria that practice proper governance on the fingers on one hand only. Any quoted company controlled by a family or a dominant individual poses a high risk to financial returns no matter how well they may appear to be doing. The information asymmetry is just too much for a sane investor to deal with.

Every investors and traders are affected, Zenith might enter #19 today, FCMB #1.6, Transcorp #1.05 if Zenith and GTB drop to #19 and #33, other stocks will follow. But they will soon build their support, and wait for q1 to move up.
Market will bounce back before the end of this month, and this year will end with bull.
Thanks King Chibu for this hope and encouragement you are giving us
