The way I see this market now,the only thing that can stop the bleeding is releasing of Q1 results.

Maybe the unhealthy policies might be eradicated before half year results.

Since yesterday,I have not been myself due to excessive money I have put into this market hoping for a better return in the nearby future. Now my business is shaking seriously as a result of this action.

I know other people here are having similar issues now unless those who have mouth and no portfolio.

Imagine Transcorp coming back to #1,zenith #18,Fcmb #1.50.
And may even go below these prices if no intervention.I think I will be going off from the forum from now until my portfolio is back again.
My brother joke apart, I have witnessed the good the bad and the urgly in the stocks stuff, it happened before that even good result does not lead to price appreciation so to me q1 may not translate to price appreciation unless FPI comes in and until then let fasten our seat belts and re- strategize.

Pls House, is it better to but Tbills at cbn rate or through secondary markets. What are the merits and demerits
I am a newbie
Thanks
If you know the concept of whole sale and retailing the that answered your question. CBN rate is the whole sale rate while secondary MKT rate is the retailing rate. Eg if CBN rate is 15% cos banks buys in bulk they may buy @15% then sell at 14.2%. CBN rate is always the best rate but not always available everyday like secondary MKT who may have bought like 100billon then selling it bit by bit but u can also negotiate the secondary MKT rate

Many good opportunities drag their price down. How do you react seen Zenith @#20+, and caverton at @#2.6 with dividend of 25 kobo?
Caverton still a good stock but Zenith at 20.40 and GTB @#34.50, which might still drop affected their price, even me drop some of my holdings in Caverton to enter Zee bus.

But in all, nothing spoil, we have different way of averaging down, some took their averaging down to Zenith. I even sold Zenith at #21.40 today ( with about 10% dividend gain) and enter back @ 20.40 within some minutes and hoping to get more @#19+ tomorrow or next, averaging down, hoping to get more unit this year.
King Chibu, nice strategy! i sold @22.75 with 2.50 dividend gain waiting at 18-19

You should have set your targets, know your entry and exit. Make up your mind and stick to your plan. There will most likely be a reversal this month, for a short gain. You can risk it.

That transcorp drop toorr, i expected it to take a while to get there but an entity take vex offload.
Lol this month when new administration is yet to take off and investors are yet to know the govt directions. Any way, very possible. Am only on watching mode

Zenith might soon visit, #20, GTB #32, Fidelity/ FCMB #1.5, UCAP, #2.50, Transcorp, #1.10, UBA, #6, ACCESS #4, but the answer still remain to average down.
i agree with you on this your permutation/combination

Market was bloody today sha
some time when we are in the aircraft and we are air borne, the pilot would dish out an instruction telling us to fasten our seat belt because we are about to enter into a stormy zone and we would have a lot of shaking. That may also apply on NSE but for those that will follow their investment strategy, they will laf last.

Oga Chibu, stories like these are told by people that survive. We need not to invest based on HOPE again. We are better informed now. There are many online trading platforms that you can use to sell or buy stocks within a short time today. Transcorp is ALIVE today because of TOE. Dangote Flour came back to life because there was a need for it by Alhaji to do something. When you are lucky to come out unscathed from worst situations, please do not be tempted to go through such experience again. You may not be lucky all the time.
Never will i invest my money on hope again, i bailed out of DF then @13.70 and i never looked back again even when the price was going up, my inner mind warned me not to touch for now. Is a matter of time, DF is coming back to N5.

I talk am say there's a trend of "dumping good stocks" that's now ongoing in NSE, not a good trend honestly but how can only one now be singled out? Talking about carv.... lipsrsealed
when someone here was projecting N5 caverton yesterday i just dey laugh when i saw the projection! Investors sentiment over a stock must also be considered not just goodness of a stock and that is what is happening currently in caverton. Zenith is a perfect example at least the stock should be selling at 29-30 naira but investors sentiments is making the stock to be staggering all the time.

Hahahaha. I can understand. FCMB and Transcript not a bad one. Waiting to FCMB at 3plus naira. Meanwhile, you might want to consider Caverton. That stock will likely touch N5 in the next 3months. I suspect their first quarter will be great given all the election contracts they undertook plus more.
I will consider Transcorp soon.
hmmmmmmmmmmmm. caverton up and down. caverton go even get headache as every dey shout the stock name up and down

This is definitely your first time of buying chams.
Those that have been trapped in the company (charms)for more than 10 years will not be impressed or excited.
Nothing bad in living in a dream land.
i just kept silence, chams has charmed/jammed me going to 12yrs now and i bought if @ N2+ so no preaching can enter my head on that stock again

Based on the final arbiter, GTB erred and will pay for it. What else do I need to Know? Our opinions doesn't matter. Supreme Court judgement is final. The bank was and is wrong, case closed.
Oga, don't be one sided and I can't even take any side on this, I will rather wait to see as events unfold
