Depending on your volume and frequency of transaction what you stand to gain from morgan is more. absolute! you are very correct, I have opened Morgan capital account and waiting for the right time to hit the market |

Dwizeone: Take for instance you bought a stock with about 5 Million Naira, depending on the agreement with your broker, you will be charged between 1- 1.35%, now compare it to Morgan's 0.25%, also bear in mind that it's not a one - off trade ( you will be buying and selling at a fixed percentage). please what is the minimum trading fund for morgan? |

If truly foreign investors are pulling out money,
The quantities traded daily are too insignificant in my opinion.
What do you think.
And i thought it was in february they/march they really left.

ImperialCovfefe: I thought you were trading with Morgan. Meristem charges 1% for brokerage fee right? So you lose ~3.2% of your capital on a complete trade. How do you compensate for this? meristem charges what is obtainable in the industry and for Morgan, the have charges for withdrawal of fund and by the time u add those charges together, it would amount to the same charges. |

ImperialCovfefe: Who is your broker, bro? I use mission sec. ltd but now since I can trade online myself via a broker that has online platform and that why I have registered with meristem . Mind you, your broker does not really determine your success in stocks investment but you must do your due diligence and invest in sound stocks. After, the experience of 2008, I told myself no more loss and I did my due diligence on all the stocks I have interest. I don't always rely on my broker. pls don't invest now stocks prices will still go down further. |

GODAKPAN: simple interest is calc based on principle you brought in(ur capital), tenure u desire (time) and rate you get.
Now our primary sch formula for simple interest remains PRT. Now you brought a small P and desires a small T and we are in a season of small R, you will definitely get a small S.I.
If you increase any of those parameters then your S.I. will increase.
Some you wi;ll understand more than me as you are in the right forum. factors that make the return on capital huge are amount rate tenure so potential tb investors should have this in mind |

Chekitaut: A haulage company in Lagos required investors, 24%(spread within a year) on every investment per annum.
Better of any fixed deposit in any bank. Hmmmmm... I did something related to that even with all the legal backing, my 7.5m is hanging in the thin air the case is in the court. if I had invested the money in stocks which I know very well, I would have being able to put 20m into tb instead of 10m I put. I knew stocks will crash in prices and since I have made profit I pulled it out into TB. I will go back when the prices are down and this what I will be doing going forward. my advice is people should not invest in what they don't know. for those who can take the risk, kudos and more money to your pockets |

Lordcrixus: That is the reason why self paying patients have lower bills than patients with insurance because the insurance company makes a whole lot of money from premiums paid by the insured and the hospitals are aware of this and double or triple the charges. During my three months industrial attachment in a hospital laboratory in my undergraduate days, the hospital charges times two or more in some cases from company patients(those been paid for by their place of work) than normal private individuals. This is because the management know company can pay more than individual paying out of pocket and it may take up to a month or more to get the bills paid by the company, but individual will pay instantly. This same applies here to insured patient and patient paying out of pocket, so been charged lower than insured patient is nothing out of the ordinary like some people will want to project. house pls advice a brother, my wife is 5wks gone and she was denied 3 times in 2016, we want to apply together. while she applies on B2, me and our daughter will apply on b1/b2. am the one to sponsor the trip and I have 10m in Treasury bills and try to fund my account with 2m before we go to the embassy. can we go together? Mcy56: Is it today you know Oga Chibuking? He likes bear news so much and like to create fear at every opportunity to make the whole NSE looks like it's going to crumble that is a bitter pill to swallow but that is the truth that many does not want to believe or take. I pulled out immediately I qualified for dividend and all the stocks have she weights. if I have not pulled out the time I did, I would have lost 574k that as at Friday and I believe those stocks will still go down further but the same money I pull out put in TB at 11.5% gave me 759k . so Chibuking is being truthful but many of us does not want to hear that |

Chibuking81: Since they will pump and sell to the faint hearted, who then is faint hearted. The current bear turn more than 90% member here to faint hearted. The remained 10% are not smiling, some are nursing their injury, while averaging down. The real bull will come next year, what you will be seen now is pump and dump bull.
Foreign investors see stock business as a game, that why the play smart game in it. Since I know that they create artificial bull sell, later and stay by at sideline, is not better to wait and bye at cheaper rate and wait for the main bull.
I preferred longtime investment, a situation where I will buy a particular stock at #10 and see it at #15 next five year, than buying #10 and goes to #100 next year only to come down to 10 kobo next five year.
It's even better to buy a stock at #10, and it move to #12 next ten year, with year dividend payment and bonus reward.
Nigeria stock has turn many to watchman, vigilante, monitoring instrument, because one can invest today only to hear tomorrow about merger, share reconstruction, worst still remain delisted. And the particular company will still be in existence.
Nigeria nawooo agreed with you, what they will be doing is to create artificial bulls then dump again till billions are pulled out. Since it will only cost data, am ready to watch oo every day. foreign investors can not just come and take our money away then we are left injured. |

May be wrong sha.... is like u are yet to get their gimmick, they push the volume gradually so that you will have the same thoughts you are having now. this they will be doing till their aim is achieved. Chibuking81: People keep on loosing money due to anticipation of bull.
Some bought Fidelity at #2.30 after their dividend mark down, for possible reversal, but it goes down the more to #2.20, some jump in to make a kill for the year, it goes down to #2.15 and later move up to #2.29, many jump in again, only to see them self at #2.06, this coming new week, who know how low their vehicle will test.
The same happened to Flour mill, from #35 to #29+. Will little payment in some company usher in bull, or bring back those institutional investors who has moved their money to Fix deposits and bind?
The bull anticipation of bull, the more bear dominate.
Many has jump out several time with injury after jumping in hoping that proposed bull will be visiting. history may repeat itself, there was a time that even good quarterly results could not usher in or sustain bull but am watching. I don't see see bull coming in soonest in my own view one should just be careful on how one play the game , when others are fearful one can be fearful too so as not to loose money. |
