Jesus is not with us today remember neither did he leave us with any book(i stand to be corrected). Muhammad was inspired with a book and we have it with us (unaltered) today. @bob, Truly, one thing leads to another coz i had intended to make available to doubting thomases, some Qur'an verses which i intended to title "Miracles of the Qur'an". But with your question, i believe souls will be touched. Lets start with these;
1-Qur'an is God's message to the world, and God guarantees its preservation forever: "Surely, we have sent down this message, and surely, we will preserve it" (Q15:9)
2-No power on earth can produce a Qur'an like this: "If all the humans and all the jinns banded together to produce a Qur'an like this, they can never do it, no matter how much assistance they give one another" (Q17:88)
3-Every messenger was supported by miracles from God. The Qur'an teaches that the miracle bestowed upon Muhammad is the Qur'an itself: "They said, 'Why is he not supported by miracles from his Lord?' Say (O Muhammad), 'Miracles come from God, and I am no more than a warner.' Is it not enough (of a miracle) that we revealed to you THIS SCRIPTURE being recited to them?" (Q29:50-51)

@Balthasar, the white men never produced any device, tool, machine etc without giving us manuals.
When the Lord(Allah) created this world, did E giv us manual? Mind u, remember the manual will not only be for a particular set of people or duration of time but rather, it must conform with poeple of the past, present and the future. It should also not be centralized on singular issue, but should rather be for all issues no matter the capacity. Surf it for any problem; morally, socially, educationally, financially, government, relationship, etc, just name it. Does any book fit to be this Instruction manual rather than The Holy Qur'an?

@noetic,going by your posts on most threads here, it could be seen that you have no knowledge of any of the two books. I'm afraid you are only a christian coz you found youself in a christian family or coz you like the so-called freedom as a result of not having to be completely subjected to the will of God(worshipping only one God). whether you accept Islam or not, Islam remains a eligion that will never die but if you remain adamant about jesus, then i'm afraid the poor man will deny you when he returns coz he has no knowledge about christianity or will he rather be a follower of his personality? I believe the cross worshippers by that time will have stories to tell, atleast they will preach the gospel of paul to jesus.

@shariaman, the first time i read this to a lady from a bible, believe me, she triped. This biblical verse is a good prayer point and a nice specification for a young single xtian chap than all the "textmania" books they hawk on the road. The Bible is an all in all teaching the all in all. How will a person read this without having a feelin of committing. What is the message in the abov verses? Can a pastor preach with this. Please, keep on enquiring why Prophet Muhammed (SAW) married Aisha at a tender age.

Among the pasiionate hatred most people have for it is the fact that, with all its completenes in all totality, its not the bible. @tpia, whether we call to propagate Islam or not, it will forever remain. Afterall it has been passing the tests of time. Islam meaning Submission is the religion of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses n ol the past prophets (may the Peace of Allah be upon them all). Nobody will kill you whether or not you accept Islam. What was the religion of the past Prophets of God before Jesus? If you stop campaigning for your religion today, will it survive knowing that nobody will be dogmatised? I invite you to the religion of Jesus; submission to the onenness of God (John 17:3). Islam is beautiful, you don't need be told!

Why quote Hadiths that you can't even prove its authenticity? Have you forgotten we have criterias for authenticating Hadiths? Anybody could come here and quote some mowdoo(fake) hadiths, we don't have one remember? Please tel me the last time me or whenever any muslim quote a bible here that's different from your book? If you are faulting the Hadith, i'm sorry we also fault it at times. The only muslim book that is totally free from errors remains the Qur'an. Which is the Christians?
