Anyone with info/experience on German Student Visa? Please provide especially on issue of confirmation of proof of sponsorship as required. Which office of German Authrority in Nigeria is responsible for this confirmation. Thanks.

Experienced guys please provide me with information. I just got an admission from a university in the netherlands. I am required to pay about 9375 Euros of which about 3700 is the tuition with the remaining being the visa requirement by the authorities. The school informed me that the balance after paying the tuition fees will be returned to me after they've got me the visa-that's the process.

But I am having difficulty raising the money(about 1.7million naira) though I'm sure of 600,000 already.

Please is anyone aware of an alternative means of getting the Netherlands student visa? or Are u aware of any short term loan that will serve me this purpose.

I will appreciate any help/info please. Thank you.

Well u need to be specific about the recruitment agency you're talking about. One will then be able to assess their genuineness cos I once worked in the middle east -some of them have nice companies.

I was just refused uk student visa today. The refusal note was written like this:

"You state that the cost of your tuition, maintenance and accomodation is to be borne by your family friend. As evidence of his funds you have submitted two bank statements showing balances of 502,558 Naira(£2147) and 163,171 Naira(£697),

, Your sponsor's financial documents do not satisfactorily confirm that you have suficient funds to cover the cost of your studies in the UK and adequately maintain and accomodate yourself whilst there. Furthermore, I do not find it credible that your sponsor is willing to exhaust all of their savings to finance your studies in the UK. You have not satisfactorily demonstrated that such expenditure is commensurate to any benefits to be gained by your sponsor in doing so."


I used a family friend as my sponsor, his total balance was just about 1.1M naira but supported with his stock about 5M and salary slips. The ECO made a mistake in the second balanece he quoted as 163,171 its 563, 171. I have also paid full tuition fee of 2250 and one month accomodation deposit which the ECO did not mention at all.

I was given a right of appeal

Do i stand a chance in this? considering likely required time for appeal, can i make a fresh application? will this first one not hinder my chance if i present another sponsor entirely for the new application? If not, How soon can I apply because I have option of resuming again with the school in september-the programme is just a one year diploma in IT. Please how can I prove that my sponsor will benefit from sponsoring my study abroad.

Please I need ur advice at this time

thanks for your response to my post abaka. One more thing please.
My school fees is just 2225 pounds. the school requested for HALF and some deposit for prearranged accomodation, ive done all of that.
however someone is of d opinion that ECO may pick hole in the partial payment i made since full tuition is just 2225. Please express your opinion before i make my application PLEASE, I dont want to be refused.

I will be making my student visa application next week. I'm okay with other things Ive learnt here but some issues i need to be clear about:

1.I was able to get an Hausa man as a Sponsor and I'm a Yoruba guy as my name implies-can it work? i mean is that acceptable.

2.Also I was working from 2007 until January this year in one small company with just 30k pay-is that tenanble or should I just say I don't have a job?

3.please tell me how important is the issue of sponsors tax clearance certificate which I've read about here-my sponsor is just a business man, legal though.

4. there is a section on the form where its asked if i will work in the uk-what do you advise noting that If i answer no it may place a work prohibition on my visa. I actually intend to do some pt work there though.

Please reply asap , i will be grateful, God help us all.

I received a text yesterday from uac foods inviting me for an interview on monday. I remember writing the technical trainee test in January. Anyone with the interview info please post, the time is very short. hope someone will heed this urgent SOS or SmyS. Jah blesses us all.

Ur post is quite helpful. Here is an hint about d salary stuff.
just enter raw figures without any punctuation like comma or column btw d figures.
eg if u desire fifty k just put 50000.
d same applies to d salary columns in the previous experience section of the form.
