Hbuyosh:
I see u have been running riot all over this forum, making useless arguments about Nigeria being better than Kenya in "all aspects", but how wrong u are!
The GDP of Lagos vs Kenya........Lagos is a big city of well over 22million pipo, with thousands of businesses catering for the high incomed pipo. Much of the Lagos Revenue comes from the many corporations based there etc. Therefore, it is only natural that a large city such as Lagos, it being the commercial hub of a large country such as Nigeria and catering for the needs of so many pipo (180million) is bound to have such a huge GDP. Pipo in the city of Lagos, just like in the most other cities around the world have higher income per capita than the pipo in the rural areas.

Now, Kenya is a country with only around 44million pipo, around 65 percent of its citizens live in the rural areas. Obviously the incomes of these rural folks isnt comparable to those in the big cities such as Lagos and Nairobi, however it is comparable to the living standards of the rural folks in Nigeria.

Now let us compare the living standard between Lagosians and Nairobians

Lagos State GDP (2016)=$90billion
Population=22million
What is the GDP per Capita of Lagosians therefore?

Roughly $4100

Nairobi County GDP (2014)=26billion
Population=3.8million

GDP per capita rough estimate=$6500
[/s]

Does your misguided and upside down rubbish negate the fact that Lagos state alone in Nigeria with 20 million people has a larger GDP and economic activities that the whole of Kenya put together almost 3 times over?

Does it it alter the fact that Lagos state alone in Nigeria has the 7th largest economy in the whole of Africa, kenya included?

Of what relevance is your pointless and irrelevant essay?

#2.43 trillion at #305/$1 is approximately $7.97 billion whereas #1.94 trillion at #197/$1 is approximately $9.85 billion. In other words, our non oil revenue shrunk by approximately $1.88 billion when compared to last year figures.

Please lets forget about Ipod/afonjas or whatever names you call yourselves and focus on the real issues and how to solve the problems confronting our great nation. Whether you support PDP or APC, the fact remains that the political class aren't helping matters by dividing us along ethnic and religious lines. They all have their children and wards abroad so if Nigeria fails its left for you and I to suffer the consequences. God bless us all.
Stick to your sad and gloomy facts, and let me stick to mine and the facts I posted.

I'll listent to the FIRS and the money collectors instead of some ipob news reporters ...

And why should the GDP of over 200 million people be any less than that of only 38 million people?...........Whats Lagos' population and whats Nairobi's or Kenya's population again.
Please stop exposing your stupidity consistently,if any thing, your GDP should be over 3 trillion by now, going by the humongous size of your population.
Argue from a different viewpoint.
There is a difference between Kemya and Nairobi.

I was comparing Lagos state's 20 million with the whole of Kenya and not Nigeria's 170 million, learn how to read and comprehend simple English words..

Nairobi is the capital and a state in Kenya and not the country

Lagos is a state in Nigeria and the former Federal capital of Nigeria

Kenya as a country has a population of 44 million

Lagos as a state has a population of 20 million

Meaning the entire population of the whole of Kenya doubles Lagos state's population

But Lagos as a state commands a GDP that's larger than 40 African countries entire GDP

Lagos as a state in Nigeria is the 7th largest economy in Africa

Lagos's GDP doubles and almost triple the whole of Kenya's economy including your Nairobi put together..

Lagos can buy and sell the whole of Kenya 3 times over.

Stupidity is you thinking Nairobi is a country when if fact it's a common state and capital in Kenya just like Lagos.

Btw, go back to elementary school to learn geography, countries and capitals and quit embarrassing the people who suffered to educate you..

FIRS' half-year non-oil revenue collection hits N2.43trillion

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) total revenue generation through taxation in the first half of the year has risen to about N2.43 trillion.
The figure represents an increase in the revenue collection performance of N499.2 billion when compared to the total collection of N1.94 trillion for the corresponding period last year.
Non-oil revenue amounted to about N838.58 billion, while receipts from oil taxes accounted for N1.60 trillion

Those students will eventually bring down those structures to the level of their minds. Go back and check the structures in 2 years from now.
So, you put your negativity, doom and gloom evil prophesy into overdrive and quickly concluded that building schools for school children is a self enriching even though the schools are for the children of osun states and many generations of kids after them and the kids are going to eventually destroy the schools.

I opined about hate and negativity earlier and you had something to say about it, now you can see why I asserted about you and your kind with basement mentality. All you do is o around with your hate and negative mentality crying and moaning about developments outside your village because you are always in pain since your own village governors are too lazy, corrupt and incompetent to start and complete even a dog cage.

Fortunately for the people of Osun, you are irrelevant. You can cry and spew all your negativity till you die, Osun state will keep starting and completing projects while your village remains backward and project less and you can not do a damn thing about it but to keep crying and wailing from thread to thread. 2. 4 out of 5 SE states collected salary bailout and they still don't have 1 single project to show and anambra that's paying can not even afford to pay full salary, it's paying way below the 18,000 minimum wage and still have little to show, but Osun state is still starting and completing projects all over the place.

FYI, OIIE is just an initiative of NITDA. It is not an agency, it is not even a parastatal, its an adhoc program initiated by NITDA and NITDA is under the purview of Ministry of Communications Technology.

You still believe I am ignorant??
Visit the OIIE official website below and learn who out of both us is.............what did you call me again?.......... embarrassing, Nigeria, humanity and the internet community..

ictinnovation.gov.ng
Office for ICT Innovation and Entrepreneurship (OIIE) is a subsidiary of NITDA with the responsibilities to nurture, cultivate and expand the ICT innovation and entrepreneurship within Nigeria in line with National ICT Policy and NITDA Act 2007.
Office for ICT Innovation & Entrepreneurship is Nigerian's ICT office and the head and the person in charge of that ICT office is Bunmi Okunowo, he's the ICT specialist and professional with ICT nackground hence his well deserved appointment to lead Nigeria's ICT program.

Bunmi Okunowo is the head of Nigeria ICT program, Office for ICT Innovation and Entrepreneurship (OIIE), not the Minister of communication.

The minister of communication is not an ICT professional or specialist, Bunmi Okunowo is.

If WAEC ask you who is in charge of ICT in Nigeria, are you going to say the minister of communication?

This is how many people in Nigeria fail WAEC.

Lagos state's GDP, an ordinary state in Nigeria IS $131 Billion

Kenya's entire GDP is meager $63 Billion

Lagos's GDP and economy is almost 3 times larger than entire Kenya's GDP
