arewaa Does anyone had an idea of when we should expect our remaining areas. Most of our fellow pensioners are dying off . Reason been no adequate fund to go for substantial medical treatment.

It has just been confirmed that the issue we had that caused the delay had bee resolved .This is from our Rep.Ntel/mtel. Payments are to be expected on or before end next week.Latest as at date.

Hello fellow pensioners, has someone latest news about April 20 MP. .

arewaa I believe our arrears will be paid this year 2020 judging from all indications .If as at today with my MP however small , I can safely walk in to any Pharmacy store to buy my medications prescribed by my doctor instead of buying my medications from aboki, malam shop near by House which was doing before . From what I read from ptad angle, I believe our arrears will be paid this year 2020.

You guys are really good. I mean very good. I know someone will search for and come up with what is in there for us
Nitel/Mtel pensioners. I have just received my monthly pension this last June ending 2019. It added 5 more years to my life.
The anticipated Arrears may and I hope will add more years to our existence on this mother earth. My prayers are that Pensioners
should collect this Arrears to fulfill some pressing financial obligations.

I was in the same problem like you I was never paid since Oct, 2018. Just got alert on Saturday 1.24am for January 2019 payment.
Try go and lay your complaint at PTAD office in TBS, Lagos. I am sure they will listen to you to enable you solve the problem.

Many Nitel ex-staff has got the alert from their bank for their monthly Oct. payment as at today. While many have not got their alert.
They are now worried and asking what do they do, does anybody has an idea of what they should do next.

I have not received mine too as at today but I am very happy most of my ex-staff friends have collected their payment.
I was at their office in Lagos with some pensioners who have the same problem as mine. The lady officer was very polite and she told us to calm down as the payments were in batches. We are awaiting the 2 batch payment. My belief is that a journey of a thousand miles has stated
with just a few steps.

Many ex-staff that received the Oct.montly pensions were extremely happy. I have not received mine though. I know I will shortly.

Are we talking of 20yr buyout pay or arrears of our years of unpaid pensions here? Most ex-staff are getting it wrong.
Let us specify what we are talking about here, please. Have any pensioners receive the monthly pay yet? Pls, let us know.....
There has been an unconfirmed talk of pensioners has started receiving expected monthly payments.

As you may be aware, talk is cheap. Truth is a very bitter pill and is always very hard to swallow. I write based on the little I
know. I do not believe PTAD serving the entire country pensioner,s that has been suffering for years back has the time to bribe, cajole or ask anybody to defend the good work they have been doing for all pensioner, across the entire country.
Kudos to the ES and the entire team for a great job. I do not limit myself to what happens to my fellow ex-staff alone,
but what all pensioner,s across the length and breadth of the nation is saying. Again talk is cheap.

How I wish I have my arrears in bulk. Warren Buffet the stock multi-billionaire, Bill Gate, Dangote, Femi Otedola all of them still want money. As you have rightly pointed out, we have missed the chances as at then. You may, however, be aware that Ptad will in no distant future pay all pensioners bulk arrears.

They are here again. They were living on the planet Mars before now. They arrive Nigeria some days ago. They want the bulk money of 20,50. or even 100 years like Airways. A totally confused blind man cannot lead people he claimed are blind. Can he ? No way .
He is telling all ex-staff they are all blind except him. He claims everyone is daft, little minded, cursed, mediocrity etc.
I don't know what all these jargon means. Again be careful with them. They will come under the guise of helping the ex-staff.

However ex-staff have been warned to be very careful of small-time Fraudsters, and big time Fraudsters.
There,s an adage that says that when somebody in a crowd of bereaved start crying more than the bereaved then there is every likelihood people will believe he kill the deceased. PTAD twitter page is open to everyone and people like

Why not stop all this crap. Since Jan 2018 when you and me and we all attended the invitation to do verification, after computation, now expecting the monthly payment come the end of Oct 2018. Maybe some ex-staff living in Jupiter just came back to Mother Earth, maybe.
Talking of ATEN here is a daydream and purely an illusion. Why not go back and read and understand PTAD release

Truly we all have a choice. I have my own choice likewise everyone else. While I thank the guy for the information about Airways bulk
arrears of 23B, I also want to remind you that Nitel ex-staff has been giving, 60B, 17B previously. You can check it out for confirmation, except you are a NOK. I wonder why most people fail to realise that in life, it is not how much bulk money or huge arrears of money that come to you but how much you were able to keep by planting it in a fertile soil that will yield bountiful fruits in the future. A lesson from the parable of the sower in God,s book. Have you ever heard of winners of millions of cash in Lotto, Gambling, lottery who suddenly become rich overnight, later became poor, and even poorer than they were before? Let,s think about it. Being enrolled in a monthly payment ending Oct,2018 will prolong the lives of we pensioners while the PTAD will in the very near future pay us our bulk arrears. It is my personal belief.

A million thanks to the contributor who showed us the latest from PTAD. What else do I need to say here rather than to extend my handshake to him? According to the 2nd to the last paragraph, getting us to monthly pensions is of utmost priority of the Directorate. The God sent Moses....... PTAD... .. had finally, taken us Pensioners out of the land of Egypt from so-called ATEN, facing the promised land blessed with " Milk and Honey " . I pray to see that day and you?

We, pensioners, ex Nitel /Mtel staff have been warned several times to be very careful of people or group of people who will come under any disguise and claim to help us. Where are they for the past years. Can they show us a copy of the Ecowas court judgment? Where is ATEN office in Abuja, Lagos, Kano or even Benin? What happens to all the money collected from us for the past years? They are here again seeking to ask us to contribute from our monthly pensions. BE WISE. My GOLDEN ADVICE TO ALL. Don.t be fooled. Keep your monthly payments and use it wisely. A word is enough for the thinking wise.

My good friend, it is almost over. Simply remember that after a very dark night, the glorious morning will come. We have endured for 8years, 8 months and 8 days. I thank almighty GOD for seeing this glorious morning. After verification of all Nitel ex-staff all over the states in Jan 2018 many of us ( some are late now ) were extremely happy then that at last, our silent prayers are been heard. Months after that, there were computations of the verified pensioner,s. These computations took almost 8 months. It finished on Aug 8, 2018. I believe next is payment. Now is when we need to be very calm. Please note that it is when you are payroll monthly that you can press or ask for arrears. You can then ask for 20yrs,50yrs even 100yrs
arrears. They ...PTAD... will listen to you. Let's apply logic and sound reasoning to all our actions at all times. Good day.

I have been following this thread keenly.I can also feel the pulse of the writer.....boiling. I will somehow advise that he should display a bit of decorum. I am an ex Nitel staff,70 yrs old, retires 13 yrs ago, after serving 35 solid yrs. We have been on this issue for the past year. There was no head, no tail. I have attended series and series of meetings where nothing tangible was achieved. Just suddenly, PTAD came around to listen to Pensioner,s plight. Today under the amiable ES, .... May God Continue To Bless Her ) Pensioner,s Beacon Of Hope...announce Nitel Verification, then Computation finished today 8 Aug 2018.
What next..... our Payment. My advice is to stay calm and very soon, we all that have labored for the benefits will start collecting it.
