Hi Nairalanders! I recently got job offers from 2 different companies. I'm to resume next month for the both. Location ; Lydia is at V.I and Lekki is at Banana Island. Remuneration: Lekki Gardens pays higher a little. What do anyone know about Lydia Investment Ltd? I have searched for employees' reviews. Sadly, didn't see any. Help me out! |

Education / Re: Guys Please Motivate Me, I Feel So Clueless On how to increase my CGPA by Arinze01(m): 2:49pm On Sep 27, 2020 |
Thecreatorx: Hello! I'm so-so amazed seeing my name. I understand your plights cos we all passed this route you're threading. Foremost, Losing motivation is wrong bcus you've a goal and your goal is definite,to excel each semester - and the way you can excel and beat fear is by Reading and practising with diligence. Be dedicated and devoted to your goal that way you've re-ignited your zeal. Towards exam season,we all feel tensed up and pressured, but your confidence should increase more. When you're confident of your self, then you can prevail. Remember you're working towards a goal which is to excel every semester(forget about the 1st class for now, just read to excel each semester and surprisingly, you might make a first class) Read and make sure you ask yourself questions after reading. As time goes on,you'd be confident. See you at the top! Cheers! 7 Likes |

BlaqScarface: Lol. It's not that we are that-rich. We are just trying to secure a better, saner life for us,kids and family which is lacking in our dear country. The block sum is worrisome tbh but it doesn't get better(in Nigeria tho) and it doesn't get lesser(the block sum). We are just keeping our feet on the pedal trying to make our 1+1=2 and surely we shall achieve it.. And Yes! The money is okay for one's sustainability though it's subjective but a prudent spender should be able to. A breakdown of the yearly expenses indicated on the website showed it should be more than enough for a prudent spender. The block account is not only the requirement for an admission. There are other factors/requirements in place too but to me it's the most herculean of the requirements. |

StarFlux: GRACE is the Alpha and Omega. All these job opportunities/no job opportunities doesn't move me. The 2 major nuggets are: 1) pray for Grace 2) NETWORK Then understanding of the language(this is minor). The aforementioned nuggets have been pivotal to me. I graduated last yr December, I got a Graduate Data Analyst job by January 2nd at V.I. I don't play with networking and God's Grace.. We shall all make it! 1 Like |

Indescribable scenery!I Love nature and Norway has always been my dream destination for MSC studies and hopefully, I shall get there! Imagine studying in a place beautifully surrounded my nature( the glaciers, fjords, pulpit's rock, mountains, northern lights, midnight sun). Eww!The feeling would be exhilarating.. danielinyang: You said earlier that you mailed their Embassy. Prolly wait for their response. I don't want to sound discouraging but from previous threads, they hardly give visa to Bsc applicants. Just chill for their reply. Most folks here are MSC applicants. PS: UiS application opening date is Dec 1st- Jan 1st. Take note |

danielinyang: 1) your sponsor can be anywhere, not necessarily Norway. A Nigerian ( uncle, aunt etc) can be your sponsor. 2)you need both a letter of sponsorship from your sponsor and your sponsor's bank statement. 3)in your 2nd year, you're to show a proof of fund like the way you did in your 1st year but you ain't blocking anything unlike the 1st year. A student job can sustain you in Norway if you live a prudent life. 3 Likes |

Travel / Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by Arinze01(m): 7:44am On Aug 21, 2020 |
Dumebi213:. For your programme or courses, there are number of students needed per course(like mine is 10,I have seen 15,the highest I've seen is 25 per specialization). Do the maths,10 students only would be accepted across all countries. From my analysis, I feel each continent is apportioned a quota. So imagine how competitive it would be, high number of individuals jostling for 10,25 slots due to its tuition free. Like in Sweden, you could check how many people that applied for a course and the acceptance rate for the course, that I'm not sure of in Norway. Don't let this deter you,be hopeful and tenacious! |

Juoflife1: Wow!!I'm in a state of awe. I don't want to sound ignorant, hence I decided to check the stated website. It looks authentic. . I remember the saying" there are different ways to kill a bird"and you just showed us one. Did you ensure to check your preferred school website to see if truly their(free-apply) information is correct? I tried with my intended course, kinda different and cumbersome. Subjectively, I'll stick with the known, approved website.. If you're cool with it and you saw what u needed, no lele. All way na way! Ensure to mail the school to get more information. |

trinityconcept: No one here has a say or can predict application outcome. We only advise and guide. But if your undergraduate courses aligns with the intended MSC academic requirements and equals the needed ECTS, then you should apply. My advise is to apply to all schools that matches your bsc requirements and hope for the best. You could be lucky - and note that high cgpa isn't the only determinant to being accepted for MSC studies in Norway. There are other considerations like ECTS requirements et al. Aim for the moon(all) and if you miss you could be among the stars(receive admission to one or 2 perhaps). Immense luck!! |
