The beauty of the vampire chronicles is that the sexuality of the individuals involved isn't the main thing. The story is much more captivating.

Anne Rice clearly described Lestat’s origins, and they’re nothing like what’s shown in the series. Lestats origins has not been put on the screen. I'm sure we will see either the story or flashbacks in the vampire lestat which is the season 3. I really loves S1 AND 2.

It's a very high risk watch. From my observations,it's either people highly like it or they wonder what's so good about it.

If you have seen Queen of the Damned from 2001, then you will love Talamasca: The Secret Order. It's about vampires, witches and the mystery underworld. It also has some spice of spy funk in it, for those who enjoyed The Jackal.

Right from the opening of episode 1, I knew I was in for a superb series. I kept panting for more. The soundtrack, very dark and subtly eerie, reminded me of Queen of the Damned, the movie featuring the late Aaliyah, which also featured a Talamasca institute that studies the underworld of vampires but never interferes.

I've seen only two episodes as AMC+ is yet to release the rest. Mind you, it is British concept, and you know how Brits love to make their series entailing.

They shouldn't overflog the anne rice universe. The interview with the vampire is doing so well. Mayfair witches not so good.

Anyway I know after the vampire lestat and Queen of the damned, they'll run into problems unless they divertt form the books IMO.

Mayfair witches and the vampire chronicles meet up ahead. That would be interesting to see.


The talamasca might be good. I'll check and see. They might decide to introduce the talamaca characters into the vampire lestat as they play a big role in that book.
