I’m trying to apply for a visiting visa for my parents to Canada from Nigeria. I’m currently schooling in canada. Please what are the detailed things I should submit to have a strong application 🙏 any reply will be appreciated please

I flew KLM on the 20th of June at 10pm,I had paid for an extra 23kg bag(107k),had a 9 hrs layover at Armsterdam.At the Lagos airport everything was fine except one wizard seized my frozen red oil which he later gave to my sister when they were leaving(e pained me oh).Documents requested was only ArriveCAN receipt and passport.
Arrived Amsterdam 7am as Against 5:40am that was scheduled coz the flight was delayed.No document was asked just passport and boarding pass was checked,I found a comfortable chair to sleep,connected to Wi-Fi and was able to chat with family,the 9hrs went by really fast.
Amsterdam to Vancouver:
Flight time was 9hrs 15mins,flight was good and full,I had more leg room,was able to use the Wi-Fi on board for like an hour,we got refreshments 4times!(a bit too much for me..lol).
Boarding gate,only passport and boarding pass was required nobody asked for any other documents,no resumption or enrollment question was asked from Nigeria up to this point.
Vancouver: Arrived 5:15,proceeded to the self declaration machine and the the immigration officer who directed me to the office where I’ll get my study permit,all I was asked was the letter of introduction and in less that 3mins he handed me my study permit no questions asked.Na me come dey find wetin i fit ask the guy
Then I proceeded to grab my bags,connected to Wi-Fi to notify my folks and also change some dollars to CAD so I have some cash for Taxi,in all I was out of the airport in less than 30mins.

Please is anyone going to Cambridge Ontario this fall? Please mail me so we can rub minds together �

hello people, please do i need to explain when money is transferred from one account to another. for example; my sponsor moved like 4m from one of his accounts to the account he will be using for my visa. is that a redflag ?

I’ll advice you submit the account he moved the money from as well to show that the money is actually his and isn’t borrowed, because if you just submit the account he moved the money too without good explanation e.g like it’s a savings account and it’s meant specifically for savings and the account has to show that truly it’s been used for saving

Please can you explain clearer, I read a lot of people send their passport to Abuja instead of Lagos, despite staying in Lagos, why is that?

Abuja is way faster. I sent mine to Abuja from ib last week Thursday, it got to Abuja on Monday it was stamped on Tuesday and left abuja back to Lagos on Tuesday, got to lag on Wednesday and I received it today. It took basically a week.

Please who has a list of food items one can take to Canada ? Is indomie onion allowed? And if it is how can one package it?

So I intend showing my proof of fund through gift deeds from3 of my brothers. Aside the gift deed form, do I require any other thing from them.

Also, the account I will be using has only been for savings but I also intend to add my salary account which is the source of funding the second account that has all the money. I hope this will not be an issue

- Parents Landed property of 1997 ( added allocation letter and the receipt of when it was bought In 1997) and another land bought in 2018 ( I added receipt and land agreement )
- A valuation report of a property that was valued at 45million in 2012 ( I didn’t do a recent valuation report)
- Pictures with my extended family
- Parents cars ownership papers and house papers( to show they’re established in Nigeria)
- Gift deed of 4m naira from my dad(sponsor) but I spent out of the money and it was around 3.5m but submitted that way and explained what I used the money for
- Transaction Receipt of when the 4m was sent to me
- Sponsors personal account statement( closing balance was #3,500 but his inflow and outflow was 100m within the space of a year his savings account statement (closing Bal 6m), my own savings account statement (3.5m). (MBS) with reference from the banks.
- Letter of sponsorship, with his company letter head, made sure he signed and his company number and email were on the letter too. Didn’t submit tax receipt or company account because there was some issues.
- Sponsors CAC certificate
- Sponsors Business card
- Sponsors liscence to work in Nigeria
Came on here to ask if 9m was going to be enough for POF and people said no but I tried my luck and faith worked for me. Was also scared because I didn’t submit anything concerning my siblings or my mum like birth certificate but I mentioned them in my SOP.
Also out of anxiety I ordered my notes on 24th of May and shockingly I got PPR 31st.

check iom in abj. It’s upfront as far as ircc don’t send you a mail to get it done. Check iom for slots but I doubt you’ll see

I came to Abj from Owr for the biometrics and wish to do the medicals before leaving, 50k flight big

if it’s upfront you should have booked since you most likely would not get any available spot for iom in Abuja right now but you can check. You should have already booked the medicals since if you wanted to do it as you came to abuja.

Hello gurus and everyone in the house. I received my BVL yesterday 7th April and no other mail till now. My medical was passed on 5th of April and my GCMS shows that I passed eligibility… just curious that this is a good sign. Anxiety wants to finish me. Do I send mails to IRCC?

they’ve made a decision on your application you shall get another e mail soon. When did you put in you application ?and when did you order your notes?

sorry about your refusal. Did you notice eligibility review on your application? And when and also firstly Order your notes. Who was your sponsor ? How much was your POF? Did you submit your own account statement ? Land documents ?

the applicant uncle is in Australia.. no pictures or old pictures with applicant family at all.

hm use birth certificates and chats between you and your uncle of him stating his intentions to sponsor etc

birth certificate. If it’s your maternal uncle submit your mum and his own birth certificate to show that your mum was bearing the same surname till she married. Also pictures
