I don't understand ANSG they are just wasting their time Isn't better to close those gullies than living it open, how was the drainage blocked in the first place if not because it was left open.

The Ezu River Road should be very wide.....make it up to to 4 lanes to open up the area now both sides are not occupied, than our normal style of thin and narrow roads

The key of a developed city is neatness / cleanliness.... Honestly Awka is wearing a new look...Peter obi fans should use this New Awka picture as a reminder of the epic failure of their prodigy....

This Onitsha port issues has dragged for so long... honestly this should be a good news or welcome development but to me I feel indifferent... uncountable failed hopes of reviving the ports is the order of the day so please pardon my indifference..secondly when I read in the national dailies that the port has been concessioned I was not thrilled because it was without knowledge of whom and what is was concessioned for.....

Is quite unfortunate....

A visit to Coscharis Rice Mill, Igbariam -
with James Eze and Joe Nwabrije

Behold the modern, impressive and fully automated Coscharis Rice Mill, Igbariam.

With a daily milling capacity of 60 tonnes and a yearly capacity of about 40,000 tonnes, the rice mill co-owned by the Anambra State Government and Chief Cosmas Maduka, an Nnewi-born billionaire businessman and owner of Cosharis Motors, was started in 2017. It has now commenced operation.

The construction of this rice mill was aided by the enabling environment created by Gov Willie Obiano whose passion for agriculture, investment in security and the Akulue-uno drive ensured that this great milestone was achieved.

Ikenna Aniagboso
Igbariam.
How can I get this Rice in Lagos..

[quote author=MelesZenawi post=81835116]I agree fully except the last paragraph. Is general and it boils down to creating strategic parks.

Yes strategic parks with strict and tough regulations....also I will say that on the of health sector major transformation has been made in Anambra state by Gov Obiano....

Pardon me guys...I don't know how to upload a YouTube video ....but in that video it detailed the health services improvement...

uduokirika1:
which video? after watching the cargo airport video 4years ago what happened or the ICC that is now an abandoned elephant project!!!!!!

a serious government would have started construction of access roads, drainages the three arm zone before starting to sell plots.

Let me tell you what will happen here;

1. indiscriminate sales of plots to land speculators who would buy, divide and resell to individuals

2. Uncoordinated development without proper regulations with the schemes of the layout

3. There is no activity centres to draw development rather what we would have will series of residential and student hostel buildings.

I watched the video and laughed when the CEO of the company said one hundred million naira has been awarded for the fencing of the " millennium city" should that be the priority?

these men are just out there to make money from sales of plots nothing more nothing less reasons why they were quick to commission a sales office

lol
Tell me was it Peter obi that was a serious Government?... The oba airport he start selling the lands indiscriminately.... Never did a thing about it....now Obiano kept the dream alive you are talking...
The three arm zone you talking about obviously Obi didn't touch it....
You said Awka is uncoordinated and unregulated proper development....I can categorically say Awka is better regulated than all the past administrations....

All Obi so called icon projects was never completed infact they were all at early stages during his tenure yet you all sang praise to him....8yrs)

Obiano has built Bridges and connected many communities in Anambra that has been cut off by Anambra rivers... which all the whole 8years of Obi he never attempted it...yet he is a drunkard..

The Obiano MOU's he signed they sang is empty and useless...yet things are happening evidently... however is not convincing to them..., Anambra is top of their game attracting investors which was noticed by Ebonyi Government.

The security in Anambra is way more better than before under obi yet people keep abusing Obiano...

All I have to say is criticize some one reasonably and not randomly and maliciously...
PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Armon: 1:03pm On Aug 23, 2019
The millennium city project, and the Ebonyi state visit to ANSIPPA is a pointer that Willie Obiano is working....also.. all those whose said that MOUs signed are senseless and empty should be disappointed....

Thumbs up to Anambra state.

The picture of the hospital building is apt on modern aestatic, spacious and we'll equipped...this is why I prefer obiano works....what is worth doing is worth doing well...thank you Obiano.....
Also the Roundabout looks good but I suggest the adjourning roads should be widened

PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Armon: 2:17pm On Jul 07, 2019
Obiano is best....in my home town Peter obi constructed our road (thin as usual) and put reflector's on the ground that will served as light in the Night to cars moving with there head lamps on, so if your head lamp is not on you cant the reflectors.... and every where so dark at Night.

This Chrismas I came home I saw light every where on the long stretch of the road...I was so happy and impressed......

Something worth doing is worth doing well... this is the issues I have with Peter Obi...
PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Armon: 4:27pm On Jun 21, 2019

First of all...be polite ...have manners I never insulted anybody here or you...don't say what I wrote was Nonsense"is insulting ...cleary make your points devoid of insults....
Secondly if that's what he did in his whole 8 years...then he was idle and not performing some of the projects you mentioned was never started or completed. ...
Thank you
PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Armon:
The only Good thing obi did was bringing Obiano....period.

First let's think loud if not because of good relationship between obiano and buhari that is yielding result trust me kogi would have been declared the owner of the oil well....thank God Obiano is still holding on..

Because Kogi had a good road that leads to Anambra plus the oil well place obi carried GEJ and entire FG etc and passed through kogi to reach our well because he is too stingy and lying to Anambra there is no money instead of building a bridge road straight to that place...that stingyness cost us a fortune, at least he could have built his normal narrow roads...but because of the river that will require a bridge of which more money will be needed for construction he didn't venture or dared at all.....

Ok...if that is forgiven why didnt obi and GEJ made sure the boundary dispute was resolved in our favor before he left........

Why didn't he make sure that onitsha river port was concessioned immediately before GEJ left...because GEJ finished the dredging at that time.... we keep complaining of major things riverport, airport, and oil and gas what did he do when FG was our friend in those Areas... apparently blame obiano too... and contrast what obiano at least did in those areas....remember that under Buhari our "enemy" but friend to Obiano onitsha port has been concessioned but hoarding the concessionaire for politcal reasons...at least is something...

for Airport Obiano tried atleast moving it from Oba to Umueri and putting the importance of airports in our minds he also buit two access roads to the airport place ....what did Obi did about the airport in oba...rather he rented some spaces for shops...

Obi cannot and did not embark on a very iconic constructions...remember the so called iconic hotel at onitsha...remember the so called five star soviet match box he started the agulu lake ....thank God he didn't finish it it could have been a joke of the
Century... remember the temp site pedestrian bridge...I was studying then in UNIZIK when he called labour masons who were plastering that ugly night mare called P.bridge
Then ifite and Amansea road was unpassable because water problem majorly from Amansea was rather a big river...obi didn't go close....because heavy work and expertise was needed and sure money also..

Because all many big projects he seldom did them and left it for Obiano and keep singing he kept Money for Obiano...why didn't Obi do them for Eight years he was governor.....if Obiano squander the money who is to blame Obi or obiano....

GEJ and FG sent huge money for erosion recovery for Anambra as Trunk A... as worst hit state by erosion please tell me what places obi recovered..... I don't want to get started with obi seriously .........so you all judge with fact's and what you see and projects they handled

When touts and robbers were all over Onitsha stealing and terrorising people what did Obi do as then governor? Anambra was so unsafe....no street light and bad roads everywhere... I was coming back from Lagos after my NYSC i wept when i got to onitsha My sister have to make sure I was safe she has to pick a cab staight for me...that was not the case last I came to onitsha trust me not only the lights and how onitsha was calm and organised also I waited for my mom just by the road with all my lugages close to a filling station till she came and pick me trust me I felt secure by the road...
How developed was Awka then by Peter obi and now the only good obi did to Awka was the secretariat only...in his entire 8 years...

Who could have ever thought of Investing heavly in those riverine areas that is abandoned as not part of anambra for years...like the multi millions Farms there, what did Obi did to those places as they lack access to the city town of Anambra..... guys be the honest judge.

By Obiano in Awka you see the bridges in Kwatta, Aroma, in Onitsha you see the big round about with elephant tusk, you will see bridges in the riveriane areas ....please show me iconic structures by OBI?

Last election I supported PDP because atiku is more liberal not because of peter obi...because to me he was a disappointment.

Lastly if we want compare lets be objective.....rather than being rude and impolite mostly Obiano gladiators..... Obiano performed in his first 4 years than entire 8 years of Obi. You dont need to be hostile and rude to prove your points.... is there to be seen only good enlightenment.
PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Armon: 10:00am On Jun 21, 2019
The stealing of Anambra oil an gas has been ongoing for a very long time after the war...there is OPL 205 and 206 now OML 142....now the new way of stealing is When OPL is granted to the oil companies they begin search for the oil and when found in commercial quantities, they steal the oil instead of going back to DPR to change it to OML...they keep stealing until the OPL expires and given to another Company to prospet again...

This why I don't like Peter obi ..when he was in power and friend with GEJ he could have made sure oil tussle with kogi would have long ended in our favor he didnt...this single mistake is haunting us till now, that is why we are not getting our 13% derivation from FG...and after people come and sing Peter Obi to me....
Also when the oil was commissioned obi didn't build a road straight to the oil oil rig but avoided it and rather followed through Kogi to reach it why won't Kogi lay claim to the oil ......that is why I preferred Obiano way more better than Peter obi and his pattern of thin and narrow and uglier roads in anambra that is very disgusting I don't think he will favor us if he becomes VP only for himself. I don't say this in the open for other tribes to know....but here yes as we are igbos Peter obi wa's no good...

I want Obiano to report these oil companies to DPR or court...he should leave Orient petroleum for the reason of tussle yet unresolved with kogi state...otherwise Orient petroleum would have long converted his OPL 915,916 and 917 to OML because the owner is Anambra born.... this why I dread Peter obi and GEJ... for once we had chance with FG it was a mess nothing visible was in our favor...so if Obiano has with Buhari...is good and I have seen what is coming to us despite our unsupport to Buhari. this my humble opinion period.

All the time we argue between Peter obi and Obiano who is better i don't join issues because the facts speak for them selves...As Obiano is 10 times better....

I cant mediate these wars any longer ....before it was Anambra and Enugu now is Ebonyi, so delta, rivers, Imo, Abia should brace themselves......

I see no gain in all these wars.....every one should be open to reasonable criticisms be it Anambra or Ebonyi.

So I will only observe.
PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Armon: 8:05am On Jun 18, 2019
I don't understand ANSG at all....they will construct a road with open gully, then later will start complaining of blockage of the gutters. When roads are constructed gullies should be strongly covered, only with metal drains for water flow...in that way blockage will not occur ..
Here the reverse is the case I can't stop complaining of our narrow roads, open gullies and lack of trees...
Another is how our residents like building at the tip of the roads. Thsee things should stop...is evidently lack of discipline, ANSG is indolent on that too.

Please who knows if our oil well tussle with kogi and enugu is resolved in our favor. ......obiano should make use of his friendship with buhari...
Let it not be how peter obi and Jonathan messed this ownership tussle from the beginning, that kept this tussle lingering till now...
PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Armon: 12:15pm On May 03, 2019
Anambra...is always known for thin and very narrow roads with open gutters...the next thing the same Anambra state government will cry and lament over blockage of gullies and gutters by the people who dump refuse in to the gutters ....that results to erosion...while is the sole failure of the ANSG to cover the gutters in the first place. Is appaling.

This roads in the villages were first created manualy by foots of the locals...now instead widening it and making it look modern the government will just tar the road as it was created by the local pedestrians, making it look perfectly Ugly...

I appreciate the eagerness to work, but the work should be tidy enough...
PoliticsRe: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Armon: 12:42pm On Apr 20, 2019
Is just a pity....look at how we keep disgracing ourselves here despite my advice ....we never learn, fighting our selves in public media will only strengthen other tribes against us.... you fight enugu and curse them when we all know we were one state before, we curse ebonyi and seggregate those people yet they were all part of the easter region...naming some superior and inferior.... let me ask did anyone work or fight to become an indigen of anambra or enugu or ebonyi?so why the empty boasting...just negodu how we mess up in public..to what end is all this insults? one full page in this thread is filled with insults yet ......it rather continues..is quite unfortunate and appalling how we have Degenerated to this point. Let's be reasonable.... ignore any one who insults you or your state.... insulting in response on social media can't fix the spoken insult so why bother responding ? Na WA oooo for us ooo...I see how some one will insult a rivers indigene...odiro nma cha cha...I will not still be suprise after this post the insult continues...it will only reveal how incorrigible we are.

It is so ugly to see igbos insulting them selves in public media...this thread has a purpose and goal...yet we use same energy we can use to realise that goal to insult and curse our selves.....rating some superior igbos and other not...it is foolish to say at least. After doing this in public media space, you expect other tribes to say good about us?... if we can't be kind to ourselves what do we expect from other tribes...I have begged severally that we can project our views without insults yet is worse. The barrage of insults I see here even women cant say those ....we have to stop this madness is taking us no where.....as adults let's behave right
