Most Nigerians do works manually, so they need a lot of food.
3 eggs, 10 fried plantains, 1 cup of rice, 4 chucky meats, 1 maltina or 1 coke grin etc no amount of manual work warrant such hefty food.

cococandy:
It’s because Africans are still stuck in the old western cultures that they brought with them during colonialism. In old English and other western cultures, women are easily branded witches if they have an opinion, a loud voice, an art or craft that men don’t approve of. There are so many layers to Western colonization of Africa and we’re still stuck with a lot of them even though the physical chains are gone. We might go another century before we’re probably rid of the mental chains. If at all
It is so troubling that those with Psychosis are not treated. Hallucinations was real to them and over time became the truth.

Imagine saying ghosts sit by the graveside or gravestones. At some point in the old time, some people were crazy and hallucinating. Others were trying to have fun, they talked and people believed them.

Churches and mosques should be preaching against all the falsehood. There is nothing like witch!

So sad! Why those successful Nigerians in Nigeria and leadership positions who can effect change are not clamoring against every forms of violence against female is still puzzling to me.

Magnoliaa:
Oh. Don't get me started on this?

Like it's so wild the way literally everything about women has been pathologized when it comes to even traditional practices and diabolical stuff, beyond Islam and Christianity.

Even in "money ritual" stuff, there is still an element of gendered violence and bias.

I have never ever heard of men's boxers and semen being stolen for evil acts, it is always women's panties and pads and bodily fluids. It is always women who are cautioned to dispose their broken hair properly, not to make a mess or keep a surrounding clean o, but so that their head will not be used. Pregnant women too are always depicted as "potent" sources for wealth harvesting.

Festivals nko? It is only women that cannot see Oro and Agemo. Eyo prohibits women from plaiting shuku.

Like, I just sat down one day and was thinking about these things, and a lot of instances kept coming to me.

Considering how basic foods have become so expensive for the common man, I was wondering if people can still afford to eat their favourite meals, or do they just make do with what they can afford/what is available.

It is unfortunate how bad the situation has gotten.

I don't think things have ever been this difficult for the common man, to the point of not being able to afford common foods.

With that stated, what are your favourite meals, and can you still afford to eat them?

Adult = 18 years and above

Pic 2 too much for an adult
Pic 3 not sure how deep the plate is cheesy
Pic 4 too much

Now if you are feeding a family of 2 or family of 4/5, husband and wife, or husband, wife and 2/3 children - with each eating that large, then it will be expensive.

Eating large amounts of food is one reason why food is expensive grin

basilico:
Judges are stopping the trials of J6ers because they know they are all sham cases.
How it will go. The new AG will investigate who started the fracas and find out it was FBI informants The investigation will reveal Pelosi , DC Mayor, Milley and McConnell wanted the chaos so that they would force an emergency session where congressmen could not raise any objections on the electors. The investigation will reveal Matthew Graves the US Attorney for DC and the DC judges planned to severely punish every Trump supporter who took part in the protest The investigation will reveal that Judge Beryl Howell issued new directives to deny the J6ers bail, remand them in prison for as long . Other DC judges were also complicit in the collective punishment of Trump protesters. The investigation will also reveal Kamala Harris Secret Service that day knew about the plan esp the pipe bomb planted. The investigation will reveal the FBI lied about the pipe bomber
The investigation will reveal that the Biden admin was so sure Trump would never get the chance to become president.
The investigation will reveal that the wholesale planned extermination of Trump supporters was done in very close coordination with parts of the mainstream media.
Finally the investigation will reveal that there is a God in heaven.

Two things government must interven in Nigeria through the Ministry of women affairs by passing strong laws to punish offenders, marriage and paternity fraud especially in the southern region. Girls can't get married again, as I speak there is a silent epidemic of single mothers of which 80% don't even know who their real fathers are because moma was sleeping around with 10 men in the pace of 24 hours, women working out of marriages without proper workings either from a court or on religious grounds. Tweh, in the nearest future foreign women will be sourced like foreign degrees in Nigeria.
It should be speaking up against violence such as -

The useless belief that human beings body can make you rich should need government, churches, organizations, platforms, etc interventions.

Everyone must come get their share oh when they heard he is outside Nigeria.
He could have taken the list and strike or reduce everything/expenses that he feels were exaggerated.

If he truly canceled the marriage, then maybe he wasn't really in love in the first place.

If you make noodles and don't eat it right away, it becomes soggy and mushy (not good to eat anymore)
