1Cor.15.19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. (KJV) I used to reason like you. Sometimes I wonder if I am real... you know, that kind of reasons. Only Jesus Christ gives life a meaning. Without the hope of eternal life...omo nothing is worth it. You want him to use agbero style, break bottles on top their heads to stabilize them? Charly68: Honestly it was a mistake. Don't be too quick to belittle others because you are in a faceless forum with them. I asked a question if Nigeria had facilities for handling minors involved in crimes and you started throwing a tantrum about "age" and remand homes. I asked this because cases abound were kids were put in the same jail/prison cell with hardened criminals. This won't have happened if your justice system is working well and the government actually have functional remand homes for minors. A good example is the case of the boy who stood in front of Obi’s convoy who was freed after three months in detention. Like I mentioned in some other place, the supposed banishment is much better than lynching that would have been the case in some other place. This will give the family the opportunity to seek redress and reconciliation... LZAA: Lols You never hear of Remand Homes? Most of una for NL na pikin true true😄😄 The Banishment is in order Anambra remains the cradle of ani Igbo Police will take up the case from there Oh btw there is one AP..Cheat worm who was banished from that same Anambra and now bears a funny nor.thern name on X |

If the child is a minor there isn't much anyone can do about that. I don't know if Nigeria has facilities for the trial and rehabilitation of deviant minors. Lastly, if your kid is known for causing trouble and you failed to address and curtail his excesses. One day you may be held responsible for his escapades. Kobojunkie: First of all, this is illegal nonsense and should not be encouraged. Second, I hope the boy who pushed the kids in the river has been charged and maybe even arrested, depending on the circumstances. 🥱🥱
The family that is supposedly being banished could actually sue the community for this. I don't know why in 2025, Nigerian communities still cling to barbarian practices. 🥱🥱 |

Maybe the parents failed to restrain their kid...some parents can be nonchalant towards their wards repeated bad behavior. This is much better than lynching them...though, I wonder if the village has the right to banish anyone from their community. symbianDON: Don't even know what to say?....but why banish the parents?? |

Accident can and does happen everywhere. But the difference between the examples you gave and that of Anthony Joshua is that there were emergency services in the former that responded quickly to salvage what was left of the accident victims. But in the case of of our brother, it was a crowd that pulled him out of the wreckage of the car and of course he was placed in a truck as there were no ambulance...and those that died on the accident scene, possibly would have been resuscitated if there were medical professionals on ground. coputa: When Princess Diana and her lover Dodi Fayed Died in a car crash in paris in 1997, France did not happen to her and her Lover.
When Kobe Bryant and his daughter died in Helicopter crash in California in January 2020, America did not happen to him and his daughter.
When Herbert Wigwe, his Wife, his Son and his friend died in a helicopter crash in California in February 2024, America did not happen to them.
When Liverpool Football star Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silver lost their lives in a car crash in July this year in Spain, Spain did not happen to them.
But when accident happens in Nigeria, that's when some Nigerians will start denigrating Nigeria.
Ehenn! Nigeria has happened to them yen yen yen...
The accident involving Anthony Joshua in which he lost 2 of his friends in very unfortunate, I wish him quick recovery and may God rest the souls of those that lost their lives and give their families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The Bottomline is, accident can happen anywhere and anytime.
It has Nothing to do with Nigeria or the location.
Nigeria is the BEST Country in the World.
May God bless Nigeria and Every Lover of Nigeria. |

Your leaders stole and mismanaged the nation's wealth derived from the sales of natural resources that God bless the country with. And you want to sacrifice and fund their excesses? Which Christians absorbed Santa? It was the world that created and accepted Santa not the church. Maybe you should also tell us who created the tradition of eating chicken during Christmas I guess we should stop eating rice and chicken on Christmas because Satanists were involved in Christmas. Negroid001: Another pagan incorporation into christainity. People don't ask questions.
I asked my Crk teacher in Jss1 and he told me to not question God. One catholic babe in my class told me he is saint Nicholas, as how na😂. Went to the cyber cafe to do research and it's mixed information. From sources citing European folklore origin back to the saint Nicholas bull****.
One thing is certain though. The Santa we know today with the red outfit was made popular from ads in the 1930's by coca cola. And before you know, christains absorb everything, including what they have no idea about the origin. |

Yea, less reliance on oil and more on foreign loans. I wonder which is a lesser evil. DeLaRue: What a joke.
There has not been a time in the last 20 years that the Nigerian economy has relied less on oil than now.
Our non-oil exports has reached record high, and the contribution of oil & gas to the external reserve has been less than 90% for several months. These days the naira doesn't even react to fall in crue oil price like in the past.
Why? Because under this government non-oil exports, including cocoa, fertiliser, Dangote refinery exports etc have exploded.
Since the President has not shown them any favouritism as they thought they would get under a Muslim Muslim ticket, they are suddenly economic critics. They think they can put the President under pressure.
But the President is not for turning. Christian o, Muslim o, traditional religion adherents o, the President treats everyone equally.

By the way, wetin concern Peter Obi with all these? Is Peter Obi a past president? Una always de wan robe Obi into the failure and catastrophe that characterize the people una de support. wazobeer: If there's anything I've learnt about the North, it's that they want to eat their cake and have it all the time. They know how Tinubu repackaged their Buhari and gave to Nigeria and they saw how he ran his presidency with little influence from Tinubu, but when it got to their time to support Tinubu, he still had to use a Northern Muslim, otherwise no vote for him...
I hope Southerners can learn from this. I am not sorry for Tinubu though, APC & PDP I feel no pity for them at all, they've done too bad by the people of this country, that goes for all their previous politicians including Obadanjo, Buhari, Tinubu, Atiku and Peter Obi. |

So you also have to drag a whole nation down to probe a past governor? We know that many governors at some point have been probed and some even went to jail for corruption. Obi is not even in the ruling party...the present governor of Anambra is not his fan. And he is presently a thorn in the flesh of the ruling party. If you guys had anything on him,he would be in jail by now. Misterone: Dele is a kid. Davido said it, not me. He should know that there's a "bro code" at the top. Or does he think investigating a president or vice president is beans work? You have to drag the country down for you to do that because stealing at the top is not that simple. Take for example, Governors. Obi invested state funds in a bank he has interest in. He also use his position as governor to acquire 5% shares of a brewery. His aide was caught with N250 million of state funds. Today, Obi is seen as a man of integrity by some. He has not been prosecuted by the system, yet Dele is asking why Atiku has not been prosecuted! Does he think Atiku put the money inside Ghana must go and walked away? Or did Atiku not tell us about his SPVs |

And if kidnappers know that they will face the death penalty, do you think they will go into the crime? They answer is no. Also no one will pay a kidnapper for a dead victim. Kidnappers are not ritual killers, their main motive for kidnapping is the ransom money. Sannisege: This is true because once victims see the faces of their kidnappers, they will definitely be killed because the kidnappers don’t want to face death penalty. The law should be that kidnapping attract 25 years imprisonment but if the victim dies in your custody, then the kidnapper gets the death penalty. |
