Car Talk › Re: This Little Thing Can Burn Down Your Car by Arostar2023: 5:17pm On Aug 28, 2025 |
autoscandoc: Do you know that bypassing that little fuse in your vehicle's fuse box can make your car a ticking time bomb?
As little as the fuse is, bypassing it with a wire can ignite your car into fire exposing you to grave danger.
Many car owners are ignorant of this and mistakenly allow their mechanic to bypass it with a strand of hard wires. Doing this exposes your car to danger,it can also expose your car's brainbox to overload current.
It's always advisable to replace blown fuse in your car with another one. They are not expensive cos with as little as 1k, you can have it replaced.
Always ensure to allow certified car technicians diagnosw your car and certified mechanical engineer to work on your car. Bypassing fuses is not advisable, not just for cars but for homes and everywhere electrical appliances are used. |

Things like this makes me feel ashamed for my people. We always will wait for outsiders to help us...and notice how they lumped Africa as one in the headline. Forgetting that there are many countries and nationalities in Africa. Till date, some people in the west believe that Africa is one big village. That's why no matter the air of superiority you put on here, outside the shores of Nigeria, we are all counted as one. |

Generally, militaries and non-state actors like IPOB don't tolerate robbery and such vices and punish it severely. I didn't read anywhere where IPOB was mentioned in the post. What was written was about armed robbers and kidnappers. |

TimeManager: Thank you Mr President for saving our shorelines. God bless you for putting a stop to this mess. These people do not even mind selling off our waters as long as there's someone who could pay for it, even the sands we walk on won't be spared. Leave the shorelines alone for us to enjoy the nature, just like the way it was growing up. How do we have to pay before seeing the beauty of nature at the beach?, a body of water behind my backyard, I have to pay to see it, why?, because some people bought it and erected some structures on it?. I salute Mr President for putting his feet down to sound a note of warning to all those concerned, all coastlines, Lagoons, waterways belongs to the FG and must not be turned into commercial transactions.
-Kiss the truth! Ordinarily this would have been celebrated as been for the benefit of the people. But we all know better. We all know who owns Lagos state.

2mch: The most dangerous position to be caught is on another man wife, you are playing with your life if you carry out such acts. It’s an ego thing not accountability. He’s even safer in prison. Some would have hunted him down. Forget, in marriages, especially matured ones, both partner cheat as long as they are not caught or it’s not public. They can move on. Once it’s public, everyone involved is a potential victim and some people are vindictive. Especially politicians wey get mind. All that accountable stuff na for YouTube.
Balthasar, a common government employee is not the biggest thief in that country. But he’s the only one sentenced to prison. E go tey for prison. It all depends on the culture of the place. Some places don't really care much about adultery and fornication. Equatorial Guinea is notorious for that. |

Tareq1105: You don't have to clap but just be watching the undeniable progress of Nigeria.
Let me tell you, I don't know if you have a car. Nigerians are not too poor to buy fuel. Nigerians have just reduced their waka waka. I hardly go visiting these days bcoz I plan my fuel and I like it that way. Hmm... that's the point. Some have limited their activities because of paucity of funds. This also goes for some economic activities that have been stifled because of the austerity measures imposed on Nigerians by the politicians. While the same politicians are living lavishly. |
Politics › Re: Dangote’s 1,000 Trucks Arrive, Fuel Distribution To Begin From S’west by Arostar2023: 10:04pm On Aug 26, 2025 |
TimeManager: Words could be as powerful as " subsidy is gone " that changes the dynamics of the oil sector. Without that singular pronouncement accompanied with a political will, Dangote would not have invested so much. The last time we experienced fuel scarcity and scorching queues at filling stations was over two years ago but of course, we take it for granted. Just as we thought the economy was only meant for the rich when the telecommunication sector was opened up, we thought the average masses had been thrown under the bus. A few years down the line, that policy became one of the eleven wonders of the world in Nigeria.
-Kiss the truth! Funny! You don't experience fuel scarcity anymore because the people are too poor to afford it not because of improved supply or logistics. Presently, the rich are getting richer and the poor poorer in Nigeria. The middle class has but all disappear. That's the present reality of most Nigerian. You created a problem and expect me to clap for you for solving it! Only a paid bot would do that. |
