Nigeria is an understatement...Lagos alone its what it should be

Keep saying what you don't even know... The same guy has been featured on BBC...I guess this is not going outside Lagos like you said... What a lot don't know is, Identifying your niche and building your brand around same is what births ingenuity.

Good evening nairalanders. Please, I want the good people here to please assist me with a job. The hardship has gotten to my neck hence the reason I came on social network to solicit for help. I have been borrowing to survive for months now and no hope of paying back if I don't get a job.
I am a B. Sc holder and I have my CV available. I stay in Abuja and I am ready to relocate to any part of Nigeria for the job. Potential helpers can reach me on 08157514612 or vision2020ispossible@gmail.com.
Thanks
...

Never give up bro. Just a quick tips... Register on LinkedIn if you haven't.

Build an amazing profile around your skillset... There are always good hearts willing to help or even share your CV with their rich connections within their network on LinkedIn.

And just like someone suggested, look within your close environment, perhaps there are schools, or SMEs you can join for a starter.
Never say never.

Above all, let your imaginative mind soar.

I'm sorry for you because this advice of yours is devilish! Who told you Mrs. Adeboye was making a choice of who to marry for the people she was counseling?
If you do not know what to do with your time, please join politics!
Must you put your mouth in every Christian matter? By the way, who asked for your opinion? You and your daddy freezer are biting more than you can chew. Who made you interpreter of the Word of God, when you know you're very far from God?
Can we hear word, while you face your business! That woman can be your mother's mother (grandmother to you). Have you seen what modernity has done to you? Children hardly listen to their elders' advice anymore. It's a pity.

Why are you this pained bro? wink

wristbangle:
Seeking God should be the first thing to do before the counsel of men. The guideline of parents and marriage counsellors should not be neglected for intending couples.

Notwithstanding, I've seen cases where people marry without seeking pastors' guidance yet their marriage works fine and vice versa.

In the western world, they hardly meet pastors for marital counsel yet the success of marriage recorded is more to Africans.

Left to me, I've an indifferent view about this particular delicate issue but one thing I know is our destiny lies in our hands. If God approves a union but the involved couple fails to play their part, is God to be blamed?
.

Thanks for this ! Absolutely valid points raised.
Quite apt!

Hundredfold4lif:
Ignorance is a dangerous disease. For a Believer in Christ Jesus, marriage is first a spiritual affair as God is evolved. Prayers are needed with Biblical counselling. Parents' roles are obviously weighty but that's after "matters" have been dealt with. Christless minds won't see through the prisms of Biblical injunctions plus some socio-cultural issues that may hinder relationships later in life. Nevertheless, if one's parents are believing parents with strong spiritual foundation, it is okay to relate to them as well but they will most likely see things from the parental bias!

Bro, what you said all there doesn't hold water at all...
If truly you're a Christian, and truly believe the same God your pastor serves, you should have the mind of Christ I'd expect... seeking your pastor's foremost validation of your choice in marriage before your parents is wrong.... In the first place, your pastor doesn't stay with you in the marriage. Your parent would also mostly know a thing or 2 that'll help you in your choice.

Honestly, I feel it is necessary to understand the wealth of experience of your parents matters in your choice.... I mean, why would your pastor get to meet your very own wife/husband to be before your parents Like for real? Even the whites who brought Christianity to us will never do that...! Where in the Bible was this seen Name one place.

Oga go back to where the argument started, don't jump in and start blabbering nonsense.
We are not talking of who is greater here, we are talking of who is more successful.
Greatness is subjective!
I can come out today and say Elechi Amadi is the greatest Nigerian writer, that's my opinion and whether you agree or not it won't change it.
But success is not measured by opinions, success is measured with facts and figures, stats and certifications .whatever are your opinions about the quality of those Afro mentioned writers works, it doesn't change the facts that their works are more successful than those writers you claim are better.
A wise man verifies a topic before jumping in, we are arguing success here not greatness
Get your facts right!

I'm usually filled with disdain when I see people argue with their minds closed to possibly unlearn and relearn for the benefits of educating themselves.

I can't imagine sentiments becloud simple inferences sighted to you in several instances.

In your mind now you're thinking he's been arguing based on intertribal grounds.
