Op, their's no biggie about it. I've drove that road in time without numbers with my legend; it's all fun. U just have to be watchful for unexpected potholes.
I do leave abuja as early as 5.30a.m. and before 1p.m am in lagos. Same when leaving lagos for abuja.
Option2 is your best bet.
