Crime / Re: I Was Scammed On Jiji.... JIJI is Filled With Scammers..please Help!!! by Arsheda(m): 10:32am On May 20, 2016
First of all, unlike other platforms like OLx, Jiji doesnt do verification to protect buyers on their platform. All they care about is the profit they make from their site.

See my case below, to justify how childish Jiji is as a set up / organization:

Jiji is very unprofessional of you to accuse me of doing fradulent business without first doing a verification. Your platform sucks! You had a staff call me posing like a potential client with this number 08166076509 for an ad i posted. Next thing I see is that my ads were banned. I tried to find out if Jiji has reasons for this but to my amazement, your claim was that I was doing illegal activity. Coming from you that contacted a user of your platform in a very crude and unprofessinal manner. wow!? I was also asked for Photo ID, why on earth would I provide such information to immatured JIJI, when it wasn't a requirement when I posted my ads initially. Other platforms have boosted my sales, they have taken time out to use their reps to do verification of products to certify their authenticity and location but what Jiji does is act like immature wailers and place a dummy call to a honest user. I am very disappointed and I will expose you further. You dont have an active customer care line and you aren't doing business in the proper way, that is why scammers flood your platforms. You also forget that sellers can be scammed

Health / Re: How Does It Feel Going For A HIV/AIDS Test? by Arsheda(m): 11:44am On May 05, 2016
Go and do the test, it's better late than never. It takes about 3 months for the Virus to manifest so if you are lucky, u can be placed on RV and while on RV your Doctor will advise you on the things you need to do and also I must point out if the result proves negative, dont ever have sex condomless or better still abstain from unprotected sex. But if positive, you can still live with the virus for many years without complications if you follow medical advice. Just do the test rather than live a tormented life unlike others, see what happened to PRINCE, american popstar, if he'd used his meds he'd be alive like Magic Johnson. So bro, You wanna survive or you wanna die trying.

Dindt you read the article ni? "That evening, what happened was that the Doctor’s car was coming from the Victoria Island axis of the first Lekki Roundabout which leads into the Lekki Phase One Estate, while another SUV which was being driven by Ibinabo was coming out from the estate, if I remember correctly. I cannot tell who was speeding or what but we heard a loud crash and then I think the doctors car somersaulted while the other car driven by Ibinabo was flung a few metres to the other side. "

You can install a QR/Barcode Scanner android app on your smartphone.

Nairaland / General / Fake DAX Product by Arsheda(m): 8:03pm On Mar 15, 2016
#ProductWatch

Hi guys, I want to bring people's attention to a fake hair product that's been making rounds in the market.

It's called DR EASY DAX QUALITY HAIR CARE PRODUCTS "POMADE".

Firstly, I would like to clearly state that this product is not just a cheap imitation of the original product DAX QUALITY HAIR CARE PRODUCTS "POMADE" by Imperial DAX Company inc but a dangerous and harmful combination of ingredients which can harm unsuspecting consumers and it's very affordable even way cheaper than the original product.

You will see from the pictures herein, the physical differences only, the content smells bad and how I suspected it was a fake will amaze you.

I used a mobile app called QR and Barcode scanner which I installed on my device (you should have this app or any similar app). For any original product, once you scan the barcode it should take you to a webpage where the product information is generated to prove its authenticity.

But the case wasn't so when I scanned the fake barcode on this fake product you are see below/above. So this tells you two things, it's either it's a fake product or an imitation.

I want to admonish us to properly observe expiration dates on any product and also check for authenticity. You can boldly ask the supplier or seller for product, it's your right because you need to know what you are paying so you don’t go purchasing harmful products like this one.
This fake product has a very offensive smell as opposed to the original but that doesn't mean they can’t make it smell the same way because these fake product peddlers are also observing market trends and do their homework once suspicious has been raised. They are experts in market surveying as this is how they make their cursed money.

I hope that with this awareness, we will be more careful and much more observant as consumers

Please don’t just comment on this but share and share until these peddlers are taken down completely. May God help us.

Romance / Re: I Thought She Was A Friend, now She Wants Sex in return for a Favour. by Arsheda(m): 8:37am On Feb 28, 2016
The best advice I would give to a man or woman is not to have sex or fornicate until marriage. During sex there is transference of virtues and once you have soul ties with the person, you have soul ties with the other people he/she has slept with. If you think it's a lie. Check 1 cor 6 :19.

I am no Pastor neither am I a saint but I learnt the hard way. God help you in Jesus name.

The bible also says my help cometh from God who made heaven and earth so call on Baba he will answer your call.

You're blessed

Romance / Re: I Kissed A Friend Accidentally Now I Feel Guilty by Arsheda(m): 7:38pm On Jan 22, 2016
Let's be honest @Hadez, you two are friends and somehow you felt the urge. He didnt force you. He probably likes you and you probably have a crush as well but you don't want to cross the line solely because you have a long distance relationship which obviously with the the tone of your confession isnt going on well because the other dude is far away.

I really advise you check yourself, go deep into your heart and try resolve matters with the friend and get back on with life. If you wanna date him, it's ok to but if you feel you wanna stay his ass on friendzone, platonic rships also develop into romantic rships. Ur choice...Deal with it...

Education / Re: Missing OAU Law Student: Reasons to Doubt Her Claim of being an Oau Law Student by Arsheda(m): 8:11am On Dec 22, 2015
emaculate99:
I was called at about few minutes past eight about a missing student of the faculty of law for about 10 days now. The source also claimed that she is a part two student and only for me to put on my phone to discover that almost all law students were involved in the search. Had to join by sending BC both on bbm and whatsapp and as expected, headed to the faculty to confirm her student status. Here are a few points to doubt she is ifelaw.

1. The information from the members of llb 2 was that they've never seen the face beforehand which was also corroborated by the class governor when I called him. The database of the class didn't show she's a member so I had to appeal to faculty secretary to help in confirmation of the info on the school database which she was  unable to do due to poor network. I decided to approach a senior lecturer with all law students database linked to the admission office but futile was the respite despite the search from class to class.

2. I called the family to release any information which could be helpful and also the numbers of friends but the sister said none of these numbers were reachable. I later insisted on collecting them and particularly those in law according to them but she sent just one and was sent to the PLO to confirm the ownership of the line. The result was negative.

3. Don't forget the report was that a friend claimed to have seen her on the 12th of this month. I demanded for the number of the friend, had a long conversation with her and she made me realize thier friendship was just a month old and that she stays in sport while she stays in town (the friend). Issues became clearer when I asked her about some of the courses they offer and their contract lecturer. Her response was that she is not a law student but a student of mass communication at Obafemi Awolowo University. Guys! Hope we are together?

 4. Upon the demand of any of her identification document they could lay their hands on in the house, the sister was only able to send her pre-degree registration number and full name meaning they don't know her matric number which is not a crime. I later demanded for her username on Facebook which was sent immediately. Her profile claimed she's a student of our faculty and I further decided to check her pictures. After viewing over 500 pictures, I was only able to see one where she appeared on the regulation dress but it was of a Sunday. I further checked for her friends but none happened to be a law student which I know of.

The truth as it stands now is that someone somewhere is "missing" and we are this involved bcus she has been said to be part of our family but the truth is that she doesn't have at the moment, the qualifications of our family member. I await report from the center for distance learning which is a body in charge of the pre-degree program to confirm if she was there for the program and if yes, her final score and the admission offered. Her name and the predegree registration number have been sent to the center this afternoon for confirmation. The truth is that as large as we are, we are more united than termites in a termitarium. A member of us cannot exist outside our knowledge! !!!

Lets keep the search bcus no one can tell..... GOD BLESS LSS!

Lss president.

Check all the depts they have in OAU..No Mass Comm...

@Olayinkaoj has a point. It's not necessary that the father is +ve but even if he is and doesnt know. it's best you and your family let him know about the boy's health status and let the father get tested in order to preserve their life span. People live with the Virus for years and there's no need to be ashamed of it. Just save time by arranging how to break the news to his father on time. Regardless of his reaction, he deserves to know because his life is in your hands.

If he is a bachelor & probably still single, that is unattached, he has 100% right to visit the market & buy food items. Let me use myself as an example.

I do this a lot, weekends I go to the market & buy what I need in the house, cook for the week, and preserve in my freezer. So when I get back from my daily job all I do is dish out what I will eat and microwave, shikena!

So please and please not all men you see in the market are STINGY. THIS WILL BE FALLACY OF IRRELEVANT GROUND.
