robosky02:The best display i have seen so far of the Nigerian team. They played, they marked; man-to-man and space-for-space. To cap it all, they scored to earn a good victory. Above all, the referee was very unfair to us. |
EdonhappenTv45:This type of incident is one of the reasons citizens don’t provide any cooperation or support for the Nigerian soldiers in their battle against insurgents. |
Ofunaofu:Nobody likes VIO including the judges. These VIO officials are very heartless and extremely corrupt set of people. The judgement against them is perfectly in order. |
Ikpeyi:Mbah is an excellent governor |
omoredia:It’s impressive that a state like Enugu is at the top this time. The governor is doing great. This is what all states should emulate, compete. The streets is filled up with tribalism and hatred while the governments seems to be working. |
malali:Reno will excel. It’s a perfect choice. |
ratcock:This is the time political solutions can be applied in Nnamdi Kanu’s case under the prerogative of mercy. It couldn’t have been done until a judgment has been pronounced by the judiciary. It’s now in the court of the executive and within the president’s power to release him now. So, governors like Alex Otti have activated that strategy. Trust PBAT, it will be take and give political dealings. Let’s watch how it all plays out. |
EdonhappenTv:I can’t really understand why Edo youths cannot mobilize to rescue not just this couples but any other persons being held. |
Quest7777:It seems you are not aware that this coastal road was part of the major project infrastructure mandatory to be provided after the civil war for the purpose of national reconciliation, rehabilitation and reconstruction policy. While the similar RRR projects located in the north were constructed, that of the south , particularly this coastal highway was completely abandoned by most of the heads of state/presidents predominately from the north. The north never and would never construct this coastal highway as they see that it will widen the development gap between the north and south, instead they opted to concentrate on the north and Abuja. It takes a determined southern president to actualize this project. If it is stopped, forget, you can kiss infrastructure development in the south goodbye because the north will never do it. This is the best opportunity for the south for this project. It will be enough as a major gift to the south by this presidency. My home is directly in the Niger Delta and this project will positively impact our people. |
fergie001:Christians in the north had better prepare to defend themselves to preserve their lives. No need waiting on the government or security agencies alone to protect them. You can’t just fold your hands while being killed this way. God bless Niger Delta, God bless Nigeria. |
JuanDeDios:Dangote is dropping price and will continue week in week out. You put high tariffs on imports to protect your national interests not to hurt the people. Let’s be smart to see the good in some actions of government. |
thomas2024:It seems you don’t really understand that the tariff is in favor of the people, in favor of Nigeria and really pissed off Trump and co. It was a master stroke of a tariff that seeks to save us from the oil cabals etc. Most of them are already winding up their various refineries outside Nigeria with this 15% imposition. It has no negative effect on the people. Those guys with this press conference are fronts for those that has been milking us. Most refined product importers are already declaring losses as there are no subsidy, no incentives nor petroleum equalization fund. Corruption is approaching zero in the petroleum sector. All tank farms are virtually empty. No more pressure on our foreign reserves. The benefit is very huge. |
sleek214:The SE has failed so far to get to the presidency because the north detest them and would not allow anyone from that region come close to power. Tinubu is bent on changing that come 2031 should the north field a northern candidate in 2027. All agreements would be broken, pbat would ensure David Imahi or Soludo or Kalu takes the presidency after his tenure. The presidency of Nigeria needs someone with a Federal experience or an astute big shot politician which Obi does not have. Obi should have accepted the ministerial slot given to him two years ago by pbat as such would have boosted his credentials and make 2031 a South East only affair. Politics is a highly strategic game and you need others to support you to win. Don’t create enemies for your candidate by insulting your opponent in every way possible. |
OnyeObowo1:No country goes through reforms and live comfortably. When a nation that has been badly damaged is being rebuilt, there must be pains. Most countries of the world don’t like our people, why then can’t we stay and build our own. Most young people of today don’t have any mini farm of their own particularly in southern part of the country where we have some relative peace. In my place outside oil, we are predominantly fish farmers. I have just bought two fishing trawlers to start fishery business and see how we can bring the price of fish down through mass supply to the market. We should not just sit and wait to be fed, we can always feed ourselves. Depending on just one income from office job alone to survive in any nation would be a risk anyone can enforce on him or herself. Let’s build the country to greatness by contributing our own personal effort no matter how little. PBAT government is a government reforms and recalibration. A government designed to lay the necessary foundation for nation building. The greatness of Nigeria lies in everyone’s hand. Depending mainly on USD will make your case get worse. |
Jaylord12:You have this huge capital challenge because you did not look for alternatives available in Nigeria such that will enable you achieve your goal. Great nations don’t just become great by depending on another nations currency to measure their own growth. There are ways of achieving that project of yours locally using local content. Without local content input and utter bold creativity, no nation can become great. Kindly look inward. I have on my own part avoid anything that would compel me to depend on USD always. Infact, i make such money and try to inject it back in form of investment in Nigeria. We can’t continue to depend on these countries that don’t really like us. Let’s build our own country by using at least 80% local content first. |
Jaylord12:For years the masses have been taken for granted, the politicians appropriated everything to themselves leaving the masses to wallow in poverty. Nigeria was virtually gone and at the edge of collapse at the end of Buhari regime. Tinubu took over, steered it away from collapse, changed the status quo, reorganized every facets of governance and financial system. He gave the north the same dose they have been dishing out to the south for years. Now, lots of southern politicians are being elevated for future political contest. What this man seeks is a united south that will be able to also dictate how this country is governed. The strength of our national economy and survival lies in the south at the moment as the north is currently being riddle by conflicts. No meaningful economic activity is taking place in the north. The entire burden of the nation is on the south. We must remain supportive and united to avoid a step back into the abyss should continuity be denied. My hope and expectation is that a day and time will come when Obi will work with Tinubu instead of going around foraging for who to work with. We must at all times face our realities. |
Jaylord12:What most don’t realize here is that Tinubu is a president who is pro-south to a fault. He is doing his best to raise strong and new leaders from the south (and middle-belt)not just for today, not just for the 2027 upcoming elections, but far into the future. SS will support PBAT in 2027 because since he got in , we have never had it this good in SS. He is also building those infrastructures in the south that have been long neglected by various northern administrations. PBAT is hated by some disgruntled northern elites because they couldn’t dictate to him as they normally do to any southern president. He is not sharing national resources freely to the northern elites as they would have expected. He is not even keen on running. All he wants to do is to lay a proper foundation for whoever is going to come after him and ensure continuity. We should stop playing politics to the extent of destroying our growth as a nation. It’s high time we all support our nation on the path of continuous growth not divide ourselves based on parochial and ethnic sentiments. I support anyone that is capable of pulling this country out of years of decay to a path of progress and national dignity. So far, PBAT is the only one i have seen that is capable and cannot be dictated to by anyone. The more time we have the more accomplishments we can achieve. When you support your nation and pray for its leadership, then you are entitled also before heaven to prosper in same nation. |
SocialJustice:Who told you Seyi’s wealth is fake. The guy has paid his dues. He started from scratch and i know his very little beginning. A very humble chap that has got himself to this level in life. Am very happy for him and he should get himself whatever best thing he think of in life. Congratulations to Seyi A.K.A Vodi |
SeeWahala:Why do you always rate yourself lower than others? |
GanagiBitrus:Spraying of Dollar in Nigeria can never be an offense and it should be challenged in court not debated. |
teeteepeejay:I think we should all celebrate this achievement as Nigerians devoid of tribalism. The two top groups in Nigeria should not always be at each others throats. Congratulations to us all. |
Thewrath:Why are we so ignorant in this country? GTB has released CCTV footage confirming they have no hand in the arrest. This is a petition based arrest by EFCC. If the state is involved, it won’t be EFCC but DSS. If GTB is involved, it won’t be EFCC but police. Let’s know what the petitioner is alleging before jumping to conclusions. If there is a petition, GTB cannot be forced to intervene due to public pressure. |
SmartPolician:Religion, envy and ethnicity is destroying the black race. It has made our minds to be very retrogressive. The black man is so very divided along the above lines that it has become irreparable. |
PDP is in complete tatters. |
Vinnie2000:Obi is an un-announced member of APC already. APC has come to stay as a breeding ground for new generation of leaders in Nigeria. Tinubu as usual is breeding and strengthening new sets of leaders from mainly the south and the north. The defections are pure political bargaining and realignment for both 2027 and 2031. With the current plan, Atiku is a complete gonner. |
Eteka1:Wike is the best we have seen in the country for now. |
BafanaBafana:If you try that, nah navy go show up. |
marhoinspire:Honestly, i felt personally embarrassed as a Nigerian seeing these bunch being badly humiliated by a Chinese. It’s a huge shame. |
ExAngel007:What a very big shame. They were being videoed to the extent they made a complete mockery of them by further asking their kids to continue with the money sharing. They thoroughly disgraced the nation and what we hold as civilization. |
Heart3030:Nigeria is the worst. The country is good but the people are very wicked to each other and very unfair to the country itself. We have gone several steps backward towards achieving national integration. It’s as if a strange set of people with strange values suddenly got resurrected or came into our midst. People hell bent on destroying us as a nation by all means necessary. A people that seems unable to take advantage of its diversity and feed itself but rather indulge in criminality, banditry and all sorts of fraudulent practices. The nation is gradually becoming eroded without us knowing. We have refused to move forward as a nation because we are currently being bogged down in our tracks and march towards nation hood. We must collectively, as both young and old to rescue ourselves from this downward slide by making deliberate effort to first feed ourselves and attempt to export the excess to other African countries. We should by now be seeing multiple made in Nigeria products flooding most African countries. We have everything to achieve economic dominance in Africa but we are not making very good use of it. |
