Tenses:
97% of them are originally from SW.
This is a complete lie. Are you aware that even permsec in any ministry can also recommend an officer for promotion?
Over 300+ officers not even working near the villa have been promoted on special recommendations (not from the villa but from their immediate political bosses) and most are 55% from the north. Let us stop this nonsense of division and causing hatred among our people and institutions. Let’s always choose a progressive and united path for ourselves.

This has been the normal practice from Nigeria independence and not new. It was done to Nuhu Ribadu during the Obasanjo regime, several hundreds were done during GEJ regime. This is normal practice in police system regardless of whether you are with the president or working outside of the villa. Any high ranking government official particularly political appointees can make a recommendation but not compelling on the PSC. It’s a recommendation.
PoliticsRe: What Will Happen To Nigeria If Peter Obi Wins In 2027? (20 Bold Predictions) by Arutan: 10:57am On May 23
Bsssss:
If Peter Obi takes the oath of office in 2027, let’s be honest: the era of "business as usual" will end the very next morning. It won't be a magic wand performance, and it won't be an overnight fix—but it will be a level of disruption that the establishment is not prepared for.
If you are expecting a "soft landing" for the corrupt, think again. Here is exactly what we should expect during those first 100 days:

1. The End of Waste: Say goodbye to endless convoys and frivolous foreign junkets. The era of government-funded luxury is ending.

2. Audit Season: Ministries and agencies will face serious heat. Expect hidden contracts and inflated budgets to become front-page national scandals.

3. The Subsidy Reality: The conversation will return immediately. It will be painful, but this time, there will be a structure behind it.

4. Market Sentiment: The Naira might swing wildly at first...but watch as serious investors start taking notice once they see fiscal discipline.

5. Silence of the Parasites: The political middle-men and "connection" contractors will go quiet once the supply chain of free money dries up.

6. Renewed Hope: The energy among Nigerian youths will shift the national mood. Hope is a powerful tool for rebuilding.

7. The "Old Guard" Resistance: Expect the status quo to fight back. The old elite will not give up their grip on power without a massive, noisy battle.

8. Institutional Friction: Expect tension between the Presidency and established institutions that have grown comfortable with corruption.

9. Competence over Godfatherism: Appointments will be driven by merit. The era of "Who is your godfather?" is heading to the exit.

10. Education First: ASUU and universities will finally get the attention they deserve, not just in words, but in policy and funding.

11. The Brain Gain: Nigerians in the diaspora will start looking back home. Stability is the only thing they need to return.

12. Corruption Headlines: Expect a flurry of cases in the news. The cleanup will be visible and loud.

13. Forced Transparency: Governors will
suddenly realize that "transparency" is the new trend.

14. Digital Revolution: The civil service will be forced to move from paper files to digital, efficient operations.

15. NASS Drama: Attempts to cut National Assembly waste will create enough drama to last a lifetime, but it’s a necessary fight.

16. Market Confidence: Watch the stock market. Confidence returns when investors see that the leader is actually in charge.

17. Initial Hardship: Fuel prices won't drop overnight. It will be tough, and the critics will try to use this to fan the flames of unrest.

18. The Media War: Once reforms touch the pockets of the powerful, the media attacks against Obi will intensify to an unprecedented level.

19. The Digital Battleground: Online division will hit an all-time high. The clash between those who want progress and those who want the status quo will be daily.

20. The Psychology of Leadership: Most importantly, Nigerians will finally feel a sense of responsibility from the top. That alone is a massive shift.

We are talking about a total reset. It won't be easy, and it won't be pretty for those feeding off our national wealth, but it is necessary for a New Nigeria.

What do you think? Will the establishment be able to stop this, or is the change inevitable? Let's discuss.
What you don’t know is that civil servants are just waiting for any government at anytime. They rule things and are the bane of the public service. They truncate whatever good intentioned policy any government brings. They are worse than police. They are institutionalized against the people and their president regardless of who sits on that seat.

These characters should never be allowed to rule Nigeria. They are the worst set of gangs you can think of. They know nothing about nation building other than embezzlement and waste. Nigeria has grown beyond these and them. They got nothing to offer other than for power to move to their region against all odds. Nigeria means nothing to them.

90% of Israel population in inside bunkers, including military. That's how evil cowards operate.
Compared to how terrorist Iran doesn’t care for their people? In time of war, it is the military that fights and not the civil population. Any responsible government should seek for the safety and wellbeing of their people but these terrorist nations particularly Iran don’t care what happens to their citizens. Infact they thrive by oppressing their people. Iran sponsored proxies globally to cause cowardly terrorist acts but now the war has been taken to them, their entire skies now under the country of the people they sought for years to exterminate. Iran is not a nation in my view anymore but a group of terrorist inhabiting a country they hijacked 47yrs ago. Let the Ayatollah and his gangs go meet the imaginary virgins prepared for them. Iran is now virtually and completely destroyed. American boots will never be on the ground rather it is the iranians that would take over their country from the gang of hijackers.
The entire Iranian army are all hiding underground. Let them come out to the open and see what will befall them.

Saudi only propagate peaceful Islam free of oppression and hatred while Iran is propagates Islam of terror and wickedness whereas Islam as a religion is one of peace and good neighborliness. Iran came to put a stigma on Islam. Leave Saudi out of anything terror because their brand of Islam is excellently beautiful in line with the holy book. Iran’s ambition is to establish a global Islamic empire which is grounded in wickedness and oppression.

Iran is the world headquarter of terror.
They have their networks extend virtually in every country with the intent to create a dangerous caliphate who will be under the control and authority of the Ayatollah. Their intent is to create an Islamic empire that will lord themselves over the rest of the world once they are able to acquire nuclear weapons. Nigeria is suffering from their very acts through Bokoharam menace. With the fall of Iran, Nigeria can now easily destroy Bokoharam as their supply lines (Iran) will no longer exist.

Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, a prominent UAE businessman, has demanded that Donald Trump explain why the United States chose to pursue war with Iran and whether the US President considered the potential risks to Gulf nations before launching the war jointly with Israel.

https://www.trtworld.com/article/ae92f524ed50
Trump only came to save them otherwise in less than a year Iran would have invaded all the Gulf countries at once to take them over. USA only preemptively save the entire gulf. The enemy in this case has brought war to you and all you do is only defend without any retaliation because you don’t want to be seen to be helping Israel fight Iran. Iran is a very wicked nation and it’s high time they are stopped from destroying the entire world. The Arab countries were busy intercepting missiles heading towards their own assets while allowing those heading for American bases to pass through after stopping the Americans from firing anything from their soil.
Give America the chance to defend you and you wouldn’t have suffered the way you are doing now.

Iran’s type of Islam is very destructive, archaic and no longer acceptable to the rest of the World. They fund and equip terrorist all over the world including in Nigeria. If you check the type of Islam practiced by countries like UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan etc you will love to practice Islam. Terrorism has cast a stigma on it. Ordinarily, Islam is full of great thesis that makes you into a better and excellent human being but Iran has messed things up pushing people away from Islam. The world will be better off without Iran.

Are you sure this statistic is correct because what was said to be the total amount in this stats is not even upto 5% of total budget. The bulk of the projects are over 30% completed while about 65% is ongoing. So does the stats mean by saying half. People should apply their wisdom before posting comments blindly.

The Palace hereby wants to state clearly that there was no time that His Imperial Majesty, the Alaafin of Oyo , Oba Engineer Abimbola Akeem Owoade 1, held any meeting with either the State Governor or any of the two traditional rulers mentioned above.

Also the Alaafin did not tell the Governor or make a categorical statement on his endorsement of rotational Chairmanship among the the three traditional rulers in the State.

The position of the Alaafin and the Entire Oyo Community on the general issue of the,State, Council of Obas, and Chiefs has been enunciated in a Memo delivered to His Excellency by the Oyo Council of Elders.

Even if you sell it, it’s still a violation because you might be arrested to explain where you got it from and possibly prosecuted for being an agent to military impersonators. Let’s learn to obey the laws of the land for our common good. Everything is not about social media. That woman should be further educated including the market union.
BusinessRe: Lady Cries Out As Soldier Tears Her Camouflage Clothes In Lagos Market by Arutan: 5:48pm On Jan 08
Kingsley34:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FH4_AAEOF8

In this shocking viral video from Katangowa Market in Lagos, Nigeria, a woman selling second-hand (OK) clothes breaks down as she recounts how a Nigerian soldier spotted military-style camouflage items in her stock and tore them to pieces on the spot.
The footage captures the chaotic market scene: piles of used jeans, shirts, and clothing scattered on the ground, with several camouflage-patterned pieces being ripped apart by hands (implied to be the soldier's). The distressed vendor, wearing a purple top, gestures emotionally while bystanders watch. No audio of the confrontation is clear, but the destruction is evident amid the bustling okrika (second-hand) market.

This incident highlights ongoing tensions over Nigeria's strict laws banning civilians from possessing or selling military camouflage (under Section 110 of the Criminal Code), aimed at preventing impersonation by criminals. While some view the soldier's actions as necessary for security, others criticize the destruction of private property without due process.

What do you think – was the soldier right, or did he go too far?
The constitution of the land forbids civilians from wearing military camouflage otherwise you can be arrested and accused of a deeper crime that you will find it difficult to get out of. It’s pure impersonation to wear military gears against the backdrop of the present security realities. The soldier did well to take such preventative measures without further extension of the action.

This is what most of us do to destroy the country. Why insist on receiving bonuses in USD and you claim to be serving your country? After missing out on the world cup qualification ticket, why should the country pay you now in USD? Allowances are paid in USD while bonuses should be paid in Naira. Infact, such bonuses should be paid in local currency and be advised to be invested in Nigeria. You are on a patriotic duty, you should maintain this across board. Even some of our foreign missions are being paid in Naira.

That is why you should elect good leaders that will make your country great and powerful not leaders like Tinubu that is busy destroying Nigeria, you think if china were having leaders like Tinubu they will be anywhere near being a world power today?
You think if China were having citizens like you and the rest of us here they will be anywhere near being a world power today? China had citizens that are busy in Engineering, Sciences, Economics and working hard to earn forex into their country during the period of hard economic challenges. They never utter statements to run down their own country and expect it to be great at same time. China went through very long years of economic challenges, inflation ,poverty, and eventual economic growth path. They never clamored for subsidy, they performed their own duty as citizens and not busy patronizing foreign goods to the detriment of their own local industries. Everyone/every household in China were virtually manufacturing one item or the other to kickstart the growth we see them enjoy today. They were not busy doing the opposite. The citizens strongly believed in their own country to prosper and the country did eventually prosper them. Leaders come and leaders go. Every leader is for a time and purpose. Don’t let us start all these wrong mentality this 2026. The country has been badly structured since we abandoned regionalism to embrace federalism/ presidential system of government. This must be corrected or else it will remain difficult for any microeconomic impact to be felt no matter who is the president.
Lots of policies are very wrongly applied and it is our hope they can be corrected not completely thrown away as this could lead to a complete waste of fund.
