What is the sin of igbos. To vote the candidate of your choice in a democracy is now a sin. Last time I checked no Igbo man contested the gubernatorial seat in Lagos. Igbos only support a political party not an individual. From day one igbos do not vote for APC whether at home or aside home no man born of woman can cowed Igbos to submission just know that. The you should have left the local governorship elections to the Yorubas to vote whom they like. You should have called Gbadebo to let him know that you cannot interfere in the local election of a major tribe. Instead you started threatening days before the election to take over lagos, for what? Has any Yoruba man threaten to take over Anambra. Don’t treat others the way you don’t want to be treated. Obi was voted for by both igbos and yorubas in Lagos and SW but when it comes to governorship, allow the local people to vote their own because they know whom they want. It will be most destructive to vote an inexperienced fellow like Gbadebo to rule lagos. Lagos has always been blessed with good leaders because every governor passes through the civil service system right from Fashola, Ambode to Sanwo-Olu. They know the system and maintain the progress being witnessed in Lagos. Yorubas worldwide are concerned and have spoken.

Infact all yorubas were fully united in this for Sanwo-Olu. The igbos obviously forgot that they needed to build alliances instead of trying to tribally suppress other ethnic groups. Yorubas have learnt their lessons now. There is no state in the country where you are free to do anyhow as a visitor. Be it in the South East or the North. Very annoying thread for most of us.

The chairman lost Nasarawa State his State to Labour Party in that same North Central.

Labour party won Plateau State in that same North Central despite producing the campaign chairman, an incumbent Governor.

Benue State was so close that it could have gone anywhere. It's technically a draw between LP and APC just like Lagos. The win margin of APC has no meaning.

If we count Abuja-FCT based on its geography and boundary, APC did not even see 25% there.

North Central voted along religious lines. Kwara is technically Yoruba and Kogi to an extent with Muslim population. Niger State has a massive Muslim population too.

The only christians in Nigeria that didn't give a damn about the Muslim Muslim Ticket apart from the South West were South South christians.


Also consider the fact that APC was the dominant party in the North Central before the elections. KWARA, Kogi, Niger, Nasarawa and Plateau states had APC Governors.

South South delivered beyond imagination for a region with only one APC governor who defected. The South South will have at least 2 APC governors on the 29th of May (Delta State and Cross River State). The region is going APC and you must reward the people.

I support your point. The Senate presidency should come to SS. The SE did nothing much to help but we must admit it was a very difficult task to sell APC in the SE even PDP was abandoned. We shouldn’t blame the SE guys because they had one of theirs also on the ballot. First option SP slot to SS or SE.

Perfect statement. But some set of igbos probably came newly are bent on destroying the unity that have existed for years between the Yorubas and the Igbos.
I grew up and did my University’s education in Lagos as an itsekiri with thousands of my Igbo childhood friends without knowing the differences in tribes until i left lagos 28years ago only to start hearing and reading the deep hatred against the Yorubas by the Igbos. When yorubas take a stand the igbos in lagos work against it. They insult so badly that it has become very intolerable and unacceptable. In this video by AriseTV, Electoral Officers in Imo state were seen protesting. They claimed that in some parts of Imo state, Elections were not held at all yet result sheets were produced complete with votes.

They said the wards include Oru West, Ohaji/Egbema local government areas yet results came from these areas and were collated. The said electoral results did not arrive in the areas and they dispersed voters who turned up to vote. So where did the results come from?

Here is a thought. 13.1 million people did not vote for APC, out of the 21 m who did vote.

If those 13.1 million people had voted for one party, APC would have been voted out. But because they voted for 3 different parties, the votes got divided, and APC won the election.

Those wrong pix you are seeing are hacking done by PDP & co on the INEC server. PDP attempted severally to hack the server but failed. You guys don’t know what the hell is going on and how INEC has checkmated more than 65 hacking attempts made by the PDP team to steal votes from Kano state, SE , SW and SS to add to the other Norther votes.
