IgOga:He is still the governor of the state but without an operational government. Let him go and be ruling his household for the next 6 months. Failure to go and beg Wike and agree to reset the illegal budget will result in an extension of the SOE. Always be grateful to those that helped you to climb the ladder of success. |
Bigboytinz:Her behavior has been very terrible and disgraceful. She thinks like a child and not worthy of the office of a Senator of the FRN. It’s shameful. |
BoldBrainz:Building to rent is a form of investment called real estate milking till you are ready to sell. It’s the only business that doesn’t depreciate. It continuously appreciate. Hotels etc are riddled with a lot of management risks and running cost against a dynamic inflationary environment. Best is serviced apartment long lease when it comes to rentals. |
SUPERPACK:Nothing can be compared to real estate investment if you know what you are doing. In 2023, i bought a 3 bedroom property for N32m, renovated it to taste with N6m , put it back for sale into the market this year. Some buyers came , priced it for N60m -N65m but i declined, i waited till a buyer came and bought it for N79m. Just within a year. I have used this part of the sales proceeds to purchase another 3 bedroom in another location nearby for N40m and started renovation. It will go into the market in 2025/2026. Real estate fetches you bulk millions and there are few businesses that can match it. It secures you firmly with minimal risk. Just ensure you buy in a genuine and approved location. Avoid fraudsters at all cost. Do thorough and meticulous investigation before you part with your money to purchase any property. |
The Libyans already know that they will be beaten blue-black on their home turf by our boys. The Libyans infact already boycotted the game but to avoid shame, everything must be done to prevent and frustrate the Super Eagles from arriving Benghazi enroute the match venue. They landed us in an airport in the middle of the desert where there were no refueling depot. They denied us everything. Infact they were probably praying our boys will starve to death. They brought a ricket(Iskabba) bus to take the boys on a 3 hour road trip with the intention to deliver the entire team into the hands of bandits that will kidnap them for a huge ransom because that vehicle will surely breakdown along the road in a bandit infested village. Am glad the team decided to return home and forget about the Libyan nasty experience. |
nedekid:Nigerian officials never maltreated these people rather they chose not to take the excellent offer given to them by NFF. Do you want us to force them to take luxury buses by road when they insisted otherwise? NFF got approval for their aircraft to fly from portharcourt to Uyo without any cost on them but they rejected it. But they, the Libyans dumped our boys in an abandoned airport in the open desert that has no aviation fuel depot. Our boys were left stranded for 13hrs without food, water, accommodation and communication. No Nigerian should accept such treatment to its national team on national assignment. |
Kingpele:Nigerian leaders as always were selected from the citizens not from spirits. Nigeria has been very fair to everyone but the citizens have not been fair to Nigeria. Most of you commit crimes in Nigeria and outside Nigeria in the name and passport of the country. The citizens damaged the country image and reputation. We get disunited to hurt the country’s destiny. We all rely on national cake to get life going. Get education, be creative and hardworking. |
atiku4President:You seem to have a problem with your country. A country is not bad but people with your type of mindset makes it bad. In every adversity there always various opportunities. Look for opportunities instead of following politicians around. Great nations were built by hardworking people not people that follow politicians around, crowding around civil service for employments and lazying about for government to feed them. Millions of hardworking Nigerians are out there working hard to distinguish themselves in their daily pursuit. You get negative about your country be ready to suffer negativities. Don’t make your life depend on Tinubu or any other president or governors otherwise you will wallow in suffering. Look for opportunities that will make your life better even in the present circumstances. Most people are buying new cars be it petrol or electric in the current dispensation, most people are building new houses in the current dispensation but you are idling and laying about wailing about what your country hasn’t done for you. The super eagles are back home safe and sound in an attempt to make their our contribution to national glory. Nigeria is a developing country and we must pass through various stages of ups and downs, setbacks and progresses till everything gradually improve. |
robosky02:Glad our team is back safely in Naija. |
EnemyofGod3:All i want to see is the boys coming back home safely. Forget about these arab countries. Wickedness runs in their veins. Why lock our boys up in the airport, why make them sleep on the airport metallic seats? Why traumatize them ahead of a continental tournament qualification match? Why provide a rickety bus for a full contingent of a visiting national team? You denied the. comfort for closed to 24hrs with less than 24hrs to the crucial match and you want them to still play? Troost and his players made the best decision not to play the match. Safety is paramount. Next time before leaving to such a country, the government of that nation must provide us a written security guarantee for visiting teams. This same treatment was meted out to the Rwanda contingent by same Libyan authorities. It’s completely unacceptable. You took our boys to an abandoned airport in the middle of the desert in a war torn country full of militants and you expect them to feel safe? When the Libyans visited and were diverted to Portharcourt airport, it was an international airport not an abandoned one. You locked up our boys in a lonely airport not used by anyone but law but bandits and instructed all hotels not to accept any Nigerian members (crew or soccer team members)? It’s unacceptable. Let’s welcome our boys back home. |
Komu1048:Both players represent the National team, both are good and feared by any opposing team. Let’s take the victory today. |
Grace001:The governors are the major problem of the country. The constitution spells out everything that money must be regularly given to the states to enable them take care of the people’s wellbeing, eradicate poverty and hunger in the land. This is the core responsibility of the states and exact task given to the governors by the Nigerian constitution otherwise they have no usefulness in our political system. The constitution mandate the president to ensure states are well fed with funds to avoid hunger in the land. The governors have received the funds and used it to buy properties outside the country. |
Justnation:Because igbos owns lots of commerce in this country and lazy people will want to seize the opportunity to loot these businesses under the guise of protest and inflict on the igbos huge financial ruins. ND and Igbos should not participate in this Sowore protest. Let those people who are lazy, cannot work but thrive under opportunistic anarch or religious dogmatism to go to the streets. Igbos in any other region should only stay to protect their shops or businesses from being looted. Lazy youths crying hunger when they are supposed to be the working population fending for the rest. It’s a complete shame that the youth of a nation can come out to declare hunger protest instead of building the country. |
Tsarbomba:Protest will not be allowed in Niger-Delta and that is it. You may protest in your own locality but don’t bring it near our own people. Your intent is to exploit and destroy our resources and it won’t be allowed to thrive. |
Asonaijaaso:Exactly. Government agreed even to sell at his price but he refused to sell to people at government price of N150/L. He can’t get crude free and not give to Nigerians at excellent rates. |
Rupertek:Nigeria needs at least 15 refineries to maintain stable supply of petrol to the populace because we not only cater to our very population but our outputs is being smuggled out to other West African / Central African nations thereby affecting what is available locally. Prices keep going up because neighboring nations are willing to pay higher prices for products smuggled from Nigeria. It is the citizens that are smuggling the products, sabotaging the economy and our people. Activities of the citizens is making living unbearable in Nigeria to satisfy other nations. We left agriculture in the hands of very few to feed 230m people? It is unworkable because such will result in high prices of food items and invariably hunger in the land. The youth population that are supposed to engage in food production to feed the aging population are busy relishing in drug addiction, social vices and gangsterism. Result will be hunger in the land. |
Asonaijaaso:Dangote is a monopolist, he made his billions by monopoly (which no other company had) and now he cannot survive in the oil sector as a monopolist because this is different from fast moving consumer goods or building/construction materials. Dangote wants the government to sell crude to him at a price he wants but doesn’t want to sell petrol or AGO to Nigerians at a price government wants. That is not going to be tolerated. I totally support that Dangote refinery must never be witch hunted by any agent of government but also Dangote must abide by all quality regulations and decent / affordable pricing of products to Nigerians. Government gives you crude at very cheap rates in Naira, please do same to citizens by selling at N150/L as demanded by government instead of insisting on selling at USD international equivalent rates to the public. This is the only way your monopoly can be permitted so long it’s for public interest. |
Difrent:Even at that the value of the cars in POTUS convoy is equivalent to almost the budget of most nations in Africa. |
The total value of all the cars in that convoy is not upto the total value of one car in the United States President convoy. POTUS and Putin even do have choppers and Jet fighters escorts each time they are on the move. We should stop blaming African leaders that are still very elementary in all these VIP movement acts. We should stop this depravity mentality. The problem of Africa is not only the leadership but majorly the people. |
robosky02:This is extremely very disappointing and disgraceful. We have a very very bad defense and incoherent team. The coach is a complete failure. |
robosky02:I think the game was a very fair one. The only way sue we have is our defense which can be corrected fast enough before the return leg. Let’s appreciate our boys. |
FreeStuffsNG:I visited this site as part of investors delegation in 1999. The bitumen deposit in Ondo state is insanely very very huge. It oozes out continuously like an eruption to the surface non-stop across several thousands of acres. The only deposit of its kind that oozes to the surface. Government guarantees stopped the foreign counterparts funding/investment into the project at that time. Just hope this Owena group will be able to do something about it. It’s a huge blessing to Edo, Ondo and Ogun states. |
Queengee:This is a lot. |
immortalcrown:African and black nations should develop their own country so that all the blacks around the world can find a place to call home. Stop patronizing the whites. To the whites, blacks are just a market and labor source for them. Slave trade still ongoing but in another form “Japa”. All that the white man needs us for is to labor while they work on their humanoid robots. Once the humanoid robots are done and perfected, no more need for the black man. Let’s work together to mordernize our nations and change our thinking from the path of hatred to brotherliness. |
BeeBeeOoh:The issue is that Peter Obi lies a lot and cannot be trusted anymore. Only those that are gullible and not clever enough to see through his antics will fall for his schemes. The lies and pretense is just too much. I have totally lost faith and confidence in him. I prefer Soludo or Umahi. Obi is not the only material from the SE. Enough of Obi. |
ManirBK:X = 4 Option C |
jmoore:No point in the comparison because Naira is a strong currency domestically in Nigeria but weaker internationally while Rand is a strong currency internationally but weaker domestically in SA. What $29 can buy in Nigeria is more than what same $29 can buy in SA. |
labake1:Any man that tells you he doesn’t do any of those 3 habits then be sure he has been lying to you even the name he gave you may not be his true names. Check |
flokii:The fact that a Niger-Deltan, a Southerner was made for the first time FCT-minister was just too hard for them to take. Also the Lagos-Calabar super highway project is a technical knock out for them. Tinubu is strengthening the south and placing the south to national reckoning rather than to be dictated to by the North/northern elders forum. Tinubu is changing everything and trying to ensure everything works for this nation with the hardworking south at the forefront of it all. PBAT election was outrightly divine. God blinded their eyes to enthrone someone who will be bold enough, rich enough and polically strong enough to call the bluff of the north. God enthroned PBAT for the sake of the nation’s wellbeing because he cannot be dictated to by the north and he has no political godfather. He was not bankrolled by anyone and above all he is wealthy enough not to need Nigeria money nor cower to dangote for assistance. PBAT is old and has nothing else to live for than make a good name for himself which can only be achieved by a determined rebuilding of Nigeria. Everyone feels the pinch including myself but it’s worth at this moment the pain. PBAT is the forerunner to Obi presidency. PBAT is building and nurturing a new set of political leaders for a united south. If Obi had come in at this time, it would have been completely premature. Even Obi has been politically advised to go round the country ahead of 2027 to make himself visible. 2027 will be a sucker punch for the north as PBAT is not interested in second term. The 4 years he has is enough for him to make the right impact and reposition this country on the path of economic success, growth and global reckoning. If the next president from the south fritters away all these gains, then we have ourselves to blame. The south is the strength of our national economy therefore the south must be strengthened while the insecurity in the north is resolved. Focusing at this time on the north that is at war with Boko haram will be a complete waste. Even Dangote will not risk focusing his investment in the north at this time. To get Nigeria out of economic crisis, 60% of effort must be on the south while 40% on the north. To ensure we have a secured country, 60% of security resources and votes must be on the north while 40% for the south. We must remain united to make it out as a nation. We must pray for the success of the leadership not our leaders. Nigeria remain ours and we all must bear with it all as other nations have done in the past. God bless us all. Happy Eid-el-fitr. |
Philipponzaghi:Which OAU compared to Unilag. You just need to be an Akokite to experience modern university learning and environment. Those days you can easily distinguish an Akokite from the rest. Unilag remain and will alway remain the greatest and most modern University in Nigeria. |
Even when you go outside of the country to Europe or the US, most people don’t know anything about Abuja. They will ask you how is Lagos etc. Lagos is simply the center of Nigeria’s life and enterprise. However, both Lagos and Abuja are very important to our country because living in both gives you a sense of belonging and unity. No one should waste their energy making derogatory comparisons. |
Metrofox:Most houses here in Abuja combines the public supply with their private boreholes to be able to enjoy uninterrupted water supply. Lagos is a state while Abuja is the FCT. Secondly the population of Lagos completely dwarfs that of Abuja. Lagos has lesser landmass compared to Abuja. So give it to Lagos anytime. This is well known in elitist circles here. Lagos is the country lifeline then Portharcourt, Kano, Abuja then the rest |
blame our leaders for the international disgrace citizens are going through...the world is a global village and people all over the world know the kind of country and citizens to intimidate....if international players with lots of cash could be treated as such simply because they chose to represent Nigeria imagine what ordinary citizens in that country will be going through...ronu people continue to support thieves just make sure u don't try getting out of Nigeria because going outside will definitely expose your foolery
