almayda:The governors are scamming the populace to rule as emperors knowing fully well that 95% of the populace are ignorant of what is going on. They will do everything to divert attention and blames to the Feds. Being Nigeria president is one of the most simple job in the world- Simply share the federal revenue to the states so that the states can make life better for the people. Do that as a president then you’re half done with your responsibilities while you take care of the security forces. Bulk of the funds meant for the people is in the hands and custody of the governors. The people should demand it or keep living in complete misery and poverty. |
rectitude:During Obasanjo’s tenure Okonjo Iweala was on top of her voice daily telling Nigerians to hold their state governors accountable and stop expecting federal government to help them. So much funds are being sent to the states so that the governors can use it to impact on the lives of Nigerians right from the states and grassroots instead the governors pocketed these funds, capitalized on the peoples ignorance and claimed poverty. The state governors are the major marketers of poverty in the country. They live like emperors while the people suffer in abject wants. All the governors are mostly richer than the president at any given time even after leaving office. The framers of our constitution made it simple for the citizens to live in comfort by making it a constitutional obligation for the president to disburse monthly allocations to the state plus 13% derivation as extra to the oil producing state. Failure by any president to do this is tantamount to an impeachable offense. This is one of the main and cardinal job of the president which none has failed to perform but the governors defrauded the people. Without the money sent to the states being used to better the lives of the people Nigeria poverty rating will keep skyrocketing government after government. |
Stop attacking Tinubu, face the issues. Stop attacking Obi , face the issues. Stop attacking Atiku , face the issues. The more you attack Tinubu be prepared to have more yorubas coming to defend him because he is their own son. The more you attack Obi, be prepared to contend with more igbos coming to defend him because he is their own and same thing goes for Atiku as the fulani people will surely respond in his defense. Attacking these people will trigger tribal responses that would take us all nowhere till suddenly we are faced with election day in 2023. Lets look at their manifestos and take them on based on the contents of the manifestos instead of concentrating on sponsored smear campaigns. |
ExudeLoveToAll:Isn’t this what we should all be preaching? How to move the nation forward and depart from the old methods. How to modernize our country and give adequate opportunity to the youths, young graduates and hardworking professionals. We have a very long way to go and should stop tainting our arguments with tribal statements as such would also trigger a retaliatory response regardless of reasons. Let’s talk more about the country, the best nationalistic candidate etc. |
GeneralShepherd:Exactly. Am not even a Tinubu nor Atiku or Obi supporter at the moment because am yet undecided. I want people to conduct their campaigns and arguments on issues not hurl insults at everyone in sight to the extent of tagging a whole tribe. So long these supporters of the candidates keep behaving like criminals and terrorist it will be difficult to have undecided voters switch or choose to support their candidates. I don’t go near politics and i advice we leave tribal engagements out of it because of the chain reaction effect. |
Truthdeypain:You must be drunk to start accusing successful professionals as career criminals. You always look for a way to tag people wrongly and this your comments above concludes your stupidity. You poverty ridden and foolish person. Where in hell did you crawl out from? You get on discuss to insult people instead of making decent and intelligent argument. |
Truthdeypain:You forgot that you guys started tribal arguments and brought it into politics. You abuse leaders of other tribes while you want everyone to support your own. You’re just half smart. No matter how much insults you peddle and hatred you show, reasonable people won’t be moved. Count the number of people you particularly have insulted on this topic. You call people names and rants meaninglessly instead of providing valid evidence. You’re just nothing in this life other than having a phone and data to post on nairaland. People like you are a reflection of who you’re supporting. |
Glink2018:Exactly the point. If you are in business you will experience this type of situation and only God can help you out of it. Tinubu in my view was just very smart and lucky to strike a bargain and loose that huge fortune. |
Theunbothered:You lack decency and you are insane. Can’t you engage in decent discuss? |
onuman:You have to get an understanding of my point first to be able to comprehend what am saying. Una no wan make i sleep abi? |
JoeNL22:In my life right from University days, i had very numerous friends. Some were very humble and honest while some i consider them quite dishonest(more or less criminals) but then they are my friends. I do transactions with them strictly within the law. Somedays money exchanges hands and we were happy. If suddenly these my friends commits a crime and account investigated only to find out they have sent me some funds in the past won’t my account be blocked? In present day Nigeria if someone transfer funds legitimately to you but from a crime proceeds , such account will be flagged and blocked. These are the processes. The fact that you received funds from your friend who later was discovered to be a criminal doesn’t make you a criminal. That was what the US government found and couldn’t prosecute BAT. So it was agreed he wasn’t part of the drug cartel but some funds were credited to his account from a source under drug investigation, FBI will do everything on earth to block and seize all the funds in that account with a bargain. If you were in Tinubu’s shoes, will you accept to be roped into a drug charges and go to jail or simply forfeit your money and walk free fully exonerated from such drug charges? Of course the answer is obvious to anyone that is smart. |
I beg i wan sleep. Una matter don too take my time this evening. Tomorrow nah monday make nobody resume work late. It’s been nice engaging you guys and goodnight for now. |
Theunbothered:I still repeat, if you cannot make fortune with $1000 monthly salary for 5yrs then you will likely remain poor all your life. Go understudy everyone that is a billionaire today and they will tell you how they started and it will amaze you. I started off right from university days with just less than N50,000 and now that has grown to become an empire(not in millions but far ahead) without being in politics but just smart intelligence, relevance to service needs and principled hardwork. Should someone make a false documentary of me tomorrow to discredit me publicly, i will surely be mad. |
Marcos88:People don’t know Atiku and they ever bothered to ask about his source of wealth. You all will be shocked if it is revealed. Am not interested in making any documentary about anyone nor engage in any smear campaign because what you do to others will someday be done to you. The truth will always prevail no need forcing it. |
JoeNL22:This is what our leaders should have tidied up by insisting everyone declares their sources of income if you must vie for public office. Am not saying what the author has done is wrong but what am saying is that they are 90% fictitious because there is no document to show conviction or criminal complicity. If the US embassy can come out to clear him then the issue should be rested or is Hundeying a greater authority than the US state department? |
onuman:That is the reason you yorubas will remain slaves to others. Tell me what best you can do than to pull down your own. My tribe is very closed to the Yorubas but we don’t behave like this. You will remain subservient to others so long you cannot keep yours. I am not playing politics and would like you to check my post if i ever mentioned any party because am just pissed when people gang up to pull others down using smear campaign. Except i see a valid document from the FBI or US embassy convicting Tinubu then don’t expect me to join you in pulling him down. |
Massiveglory:Your brainlessness is what has brought you to penury and make you gullible to nonsense. You derive joy in seeing others pulled down just because you want to excite yourself. You don’t know this country well enough but fall to rubbish information. |
Ogunleti01:A true leader must face and survive all huddles. It’s same path that whoever that wants to be successful must pass through, hurdles after hurdles. It’s brings out the best in you. Tinubu will survive and Obi will also survive but one thing we left out as southerners is Atiku. The north will never pull down their own but we are busy pulling down ours in the south. |
Theunbothered:You called my post mountain of nonsense and you expect me to answer you? Tell me if you are a graduate in the 80’s, started working right from then, got jobs and consultancies, became a senator, governor for 8yrs and then was instrumental to several others becoming governors etc, do you think as at today you or your children will remain poor? If the answer is yes then you are the dumbest graduate alive. Even i, made my first millions at age 20 right in the 90’s without being in politics and as at today i know my worth(far ahead of being millionaire). Intellectual smartness can fetch you fortune and take you places. So long you think about pulling others down you will forever remain at the lower level i. the society. Stop all these nonsense smear campaign. I know other candidates secrets but what would i gain making stupid documentaries of it when i have so many things to do. Hundeyin is a paid agent and a jobless person. |
Marcos88:The intent of this documentary is to destroy the credibility of the yoruba leadership and the yoruba race at all cost. He dragged Abiola into it knowing how revered he is. They have come to see the yoruba people as a people to be kicked around. Don’t allow yourselves to be kicked around. This people hates yorubas so much as if they should just exterminate the race when given the opportunity. Tinubu, Atiku and Obi are all in these presidential race in order to emphasize the political relevance and interest of their races. Everyone seeks to push his own to the national platform. No one should attempt to push the other off the stage other than through the ballot. |
Theunbothered:The documentary is trash and nothing else. Pure jaundiced views of the author. A make believe story by the author with the intent to convince us of his point of view. If someone commits a crime you don’t need documentary but validated evidence from constituted authorities that clearly states that the person is a criminal and duly convicted. You don’t take documentaries to a court of law. With this documentary i see clearly that Hundeyin is a half intelligent person that must be thinking the whole country is full of people less intelligent than him. He seeks to convince the foolish ones among us. Just as it is now, no one can convince me that any of the presidential candidates are 100% clean. No documentary made about anyone else other than Tinubu. Why Tinubu always whereas you have mightier criminals watching and scoffing at us. They sponsor all sorts of negative and smear campaigns against Tinubu. Week in and week out they keep coming with smear campaigns while the US government looks at us in mockery. Enough. |
BadRadio:This is a complete trash. The author in my opinion does not really nor experience how success is attained. Tinubu set out very early before most people realized it. With this documentary i have come to the conclusion that Tinubu made his money far way back much more in the real estate and other non criminal businesses. The author of this story was only out to tarnish the reputation of Tinubu by all means. Just before 911 Tinubu has a flourishing office and business on one of the twin buildings of world trade center where he practice his business and consultancy. A financial consultant in the US can make millions on a single transaction just as Regina’s husband is making with the foreign debt consultancy. To make money in this world only requires you to think smart, locate and seize opportunities which majority cannot see. In africa when you become so rich people will start making conjectures as to the source of your wealth. Some will say you are a ritualist, a corrupt politician, a drug lord, a fraudster and any other strange tag they can find. They will never bother to understudy the path you took to achieve success so that they can also follow same path. The best thing to do in Nigeria is not to expose your major source of income to majority otherwise they will pull you down. Black man is very destructive. This documentary is completely foolish and lacks true substance. The US and Nigerian government have severally investigated Tinubu yet he always come out clean and cleared of all charges. Leave Tinubu alone. Let everyone go to the polls, choose and vote for your presidential candidate and then let us wait to see the outcome. The more you smear this man the more he becomes popular. The more you discuss him the more he garners sympathy and turn to a household name. All stories about Tinubu so far have all been conjectures and nothing else. Obasanjo was Tinubu greatest enemy in 1999 - 2007, he tried all he could to convict Tinubu yet he couldn’t get any substantive evidence against him as all investigations declared Tinubu as innocent. Obasanjo gave up. Enough of all these. When have a nation that has destiny ahead of it in 2023. Let’s face it and make the country better via the instrumentality of the ballot box not smear campaign. |
DaveDGreat:Am actually not in support of what Shetima is doing. To me it’s bad politics of desperation and petty goals. He won’t go too far with such attitude and such surely have nothing to offer. It is only a man bereft of ideas that would focus on insults leaving core issues. I have a principle in life”The fact that someone do me evil doesn’t mean i will repay him with evil(except evil dwells in me)”. This principle has helped me and given me conquest after conquest in this life. The more they insult and abuse you the more you progress and become successful so long you don’t behave like them. |
DaveDGreat:I made reference to the numerous igbos i have helped because you have this impression that i hate the igbos whereas the reverse is the case. Once am out of Nairaland, i keep my relationships with igbos solid because they appreciate my person. I won’t see them in trouble and refuse to help just because someone insulted me online in political arguments. I have a very long list which can all can never be recalled. Let’s live in peace as a people and relate as fellow citizens. Don’t abuse candidates of other parties with tribal invectives as such would attract a reaction. Yorubas are great people and so are igbos likewise some northerners. You meet good people everywhere you go in this country except for some very criminal ones that have remain incorrigible. |
DaveDGreat:You don’t know the people and relationships you hurt by going tribal with your arguments. I only mention Obi supporters or i use the word ipobites without calling a whole tribal group because i feel if i should display equal hatred as was done by some of the Obi supporters in my statement my conscience will prick me because i do have substantial friends and relations that are igbos. Look at OUK, i love the man right from when he was the MD of SLOK group. His type is very rare in igboland. He is well exposed and multi lingual well blended nationally. His types are my hope for this nation where we wouldn’t be so tribalistic or even be conscious of it in the slightest. A country where everyone will live as Nigerians not as a Yoruba man or Igbo man or Hausa/Fulani man. We have a lot to gain as a people if we refrain from engaging in tribal abuses. The only time i will respond negatively on this platform is when i see someone making statements about any of the candidates with a tribal taint. Leave the candidates tribes or ethnic group out of it. Let’s focus on constructive criticisms. Don’t let us play politics to the level of hatred and dangerous hostility. Don’t let our speech affects bonds we share in real life. |
DaveDGreat:You see how bad you are? I did not call out your tribe to insult but as usual Obi’s supporters will always act insultive with lack of intelligence. You call me names whereas just today alone i have helped people of igbo tribal stock with not less than N500,000 gift. Two were my suppliers of materials - one had his wife under medical and was asked to deposit N200,000, he sent me a message and i responded with the N200k while the other pleaded with me to assist him with N300k to clear his goods which i did. In both cases i never see them as igbos but as Nigerians in urgent need of help and i never thought of them as Obi people. When people like you come online to insult people you don’t know but assumed they are your mates then you are not fit to support anyone to the level of presidential seat of this multi ethnic nation. You particularly would be very grateful to God if you even get to my level in life in terms of Education , official position, Social standing and financial position. I want to see a greater country where i wouldn’t have to keep going to US or Europe or Dubai for annual vacations but spend it in Nigeria. I have already done my own substantial measure of investment in the country to clear my conscience but people like you will always act and behave in a way to destroy this nation. People like me will never allow you to destroy this country. Obi in my view will remain a fraud so long his supporters keep disrespecting and insulting everyone and other tribes. |
JOemmy:The issue is when Obi came out to declare under LP everyone loves it because people want a departure from the old norms but sooner than later we were all shocked at the behavior of Obi’s supporters who started displaying violent threats, insults and tribal abuses. Then everyone went back to his and her tents to avoid being mingled with this shameless gang calling themselves Obi supporters. What you guys should have done is to refrain from everything done or being done by the old politicians so that we know truly Obi is a different person instead of engaging both PDP and APC in throwing insults, threats and tribal exchanges. You guys have disillusioned everyone about the Obi main plan. You have turned some people away from supporting Obi by your attitude. You cannot insult someone from an ethnic group and at the same time solicit for cooperation from same ethnic group. Be strategic otherwise you guys will ruin the country if you continue to thread on the path you are now. Market Obi and the supporters. Election is not only about marketing the candidate but also the supporters must be well marketed otherwise it will become counterproductive. |
rayvelez:Obi is a total fraud , a complete , pretender and a thief. Obi is purely ipob in disguise. He represents a secret plan by ipob terrorist to infiltrate the seat of power. You guys (ipobites) makes everyone in all tribes hate obi. You people hates other tribes and their leaders and you want other tribes to accept yours foolishly? Most people are turning back from your fraud haven realized your dangerous plans and wrong attitude. Should power be allowed in your hands you guys will destroy the country just as you attempted to do several years ago. Obi is going nowhere until you ipobites changes your very irritating attitude. You’re all so very hostile and lacks civil decency. |
Kyase:Peter Obi is a major political scam and it won’t succeed. The may lies and lies with fake facts all the time. His supporters are bunch of terrorist that will also end up failing. Their attitude has made a lot of people to stop supporting their candidates. They attack individuals, they attack community, they attack tribes and attack other candidates out of deep hatred. Obi will loose terribly. |
The EunochVoice-Obi is a dangerous ipob candidate being pushed forward as plan B to unleash terror across Nigeria. He leads a group of terrorist and terror minded supporters that hates both the North and the South West. See the way his supporters behaves, insults everyone, hostile to everyone and threatens everyone just exactly as terrorist does. Look at his outburst against Dino? Obi will be a complete disaster and should never be made to get near the presidency. When he losses in 2023, we are waiting to see what his supporters will do. |
dre11:It will be a most dangerous mistake to vote another fulani man into power. It will be very horrifying and disastrous for the entire country because that will automatically become part 2 of the fulani agenda. Atiku is already speaking for and defending the fulanis atrocities in Benue. Nigerians will suffer with another fulani man in power for 2023. |
WibusJaga:This is a completely rented crowd. 1k each by spare parts dealers to members and street rascals in Kachia. Obi is renting and bribing people upanda. |
