If you make a profit by rendering services or selling products to the citizens of a given nation, you're liable to pay tax to the government of that nation, provided there's a mandate to that effect.

Thus, FG's plan to tax [color=black]Facebook[/color] and its likes is a policy that should've been enforced years back. However, due to the dynamic nature of sure firms, drafting a tax compliant policy can be cumbersome. That said, I'm not surprised why people find this rather inconvenient, given the type of government we have. But let's call a spade a spade.

There are quite a number of [color=black]profitable legal businesses one can venture into[/color]. Yet some still choose the illegal shortcut, only to be caught at the end.

Unilag may be ranked number 1 or whatever. That said, the level of [color=black]significance we ascribe to universities[/color] is more than they deserve. Entrepreneurs are either born or made. Most successful entrepreneurs that have Unilag as their alma mater would've still been successful had they chose a different university to attend. A good number of them came from wealthy or quasi middle class families.


I'm not saying you have to come from a wealthy family to be successful. The fact is there are a whole lot of factors that contributes to one's success as an entrepreneur. My message to young people out there who are yet to [color=black]write WAEC[/color] and/or Jamb, do not choose a university simply because you've been sold the idea that only a handful of universities can make you somebody in life. Work on yourself instead. With the right amount of determination, prayer and astuteness you'll be unstoppable, irrespective of where you choose to gain higher education.
