The flyovers are worldclass and has come to stay and there nothing you can do about it as we and our leaders knows that the flyovers are long over due. Go to your state and ask your governor to do his own. Some people naturally feel threatened and intimidated by the massive infrastructural drive going on in Anambra. [s] Chinom: This is NOT an issue of 'Igbos being own enemies'. We must not accept nor condone inept governors who embezzle our collective wealth through the construction of meaningless projects. Not everyone in Anambra supports this so-called Flyover project. The money should have been put to better use. Amawbia junction is just a junction that a big roundabout would be enough to solve whatever traffic issues there are. The Flyover is a white elephant project done by an obscure construction company.
The Imo/Anambra beef is a normal beer parlour talk. It's normal to criticize our governors when they goof. Ask Gburugburu what he went through with the Fulani massacre in Enugu. [/s]

This should be your greatest worry now. Why is Imo state still owing over 10months salary arrears despite huge loans and bailouts? Gabrous is only deceiving your hopeless governor Okroocha because every data and what can be seen on ground has consistently shown that Imo state is bankrupt and a failed state. Who is Gabros? Is he Soludo the economist? Imo state has fallen to the level that ordinary person can deceive you fools with sweet talks while the reality contrasts it... [s] Abagworo: Anyone can write anything and make it trend. What do you think about this?
http://aroundthesports.com.ng/2016/04/28/chukwuma-lambasts-governor-obiano/
What makes Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State thick according to Gabros is his open mindedness. “As it stands today, Imo State is fast becoming the business hub of the South East.
Okorocha has opened up the State for development. Igbo sons and daughters outside are fast returning home and going straight to Owerri, the Imo State capital for investment”.
“I urge other South East Governors to follow the Okorocha tract. It will help Ndigbo a lot. It is urgent that we come together and formulate a way forward since we have lost out at the centre”. He averred.
Speaking further Gabros said, “My Governor who I can personally vouch for is not a bad man but he continues to surround himself with men who are deficient in truth and can never advice him well.
Today they are clapping hands for him assuring him that second tenure is a walk over for him. But these are hypocrites but the Governor will not realize it until they stab him”.
He advised the Governor to go back to his campaign promises and begin to fulfill them in earnest because the people are watching. [/s]

You are just a bitter old man. No..let us do the comparison. And what is your business with the repeated commission? Has Imo state achieved such feat before? NO! Abagworo: I never compared but you rather did. I only criticized the repeated commissioning of same bridge even though I doubt if its true. Viviangist could have assumed based on pictures. |

Are you not ashamed that such a substandard Imo flyover was painted before it was completed? LOL! How can you start painting even when the project is uncompleted..which means a showmanship..LOL Why should you compare the imo state village flyover to this worldclass completed ones below? [s] Abagworo: It is uncompleted but in alignment and well sculptured. I wrote somewhere that the roads around it needs same standard maintained. So let us be on the look out for the finished product but at this stage it is impressive. [/s]

Imo state will remain backward if it does not move away from brothel economy. Every rating has placed imo state alongside the the northerners as a pariah state. Developing those cheap brothels all over Owerri will only worsen things as the state takes the front seat as the prostitution capital of Nigeria. longayink: It has taken about four years this Ogboko campus began to be built. A whooping number of four years building a university??
Evans Enwerem took less than three months to start IMSU in Owerri, despite opposition from Orlu then that IMSU must be located in ready facilities in Orlu then.
Even the university Okorocha government started two years ago in Mbaise seems to have advanced more than Ogboko.
Who is moved? Because Okorocha is known for delaying and abandoning projects he embarks on outside Owerri zone.
From Princess hotel Okigwe to Prince Hotel Orlu to School of Health technology and New stadium Orlu - none has seen completion after about five years. From the data you can see that the condition of Imo state is getting worse everyday as the brothels do not add anything to the already broke state and its largely poor population.

Okorocha's flyover is so substandard that it will likely collapse soon. Just look at the uncompleted substandard flyover being painted. [s] Abagworo: Not so my brother. The one still under construction at Owerri looks like Julius Berger standard. I sincerely doubt if Obiano commissioned bridge light as claimed by Viviangist. Maybe he took the Minister on a project tour. [/s]

Just look at a substandard flyover being constructed for 6yrs with all the loans and bailouts. Abagworo: A closer look at the flyover. I think this is lowest standard in SE. Hopefully same standard would be applied to the surrounding highways thereby correcting earlier haphazard looks in some completed works. |

We are not responsible for your backwardness in imo statem Now see below the completed one at Aroma. [s] Abagworo: Why not call the man to order like many prominent Anambra men have done? The bridge itself looks wiggly and substandard. Forget the fancy copy of suspension bridge. It is your duty to demand for quality and stop the waste of funds on commissioning one project 10 times. Worry about your hopeless and bankrupt imo state that cannot afford to pay ordinary salaries not to talk of infrastructure. I agree with you. I was in Onitsha 2 weeks ago and visited the site, though with heavy federal security presence there, the project as I sighted it from a distance is about 30% completed. The problem is that it cannot be sighted from Onitsha mainland because it is further down towards Ogbaru, unless you approached the site closely. Up GEJ for initiating this gigantic and all important project that will further advance Onitsha and by extension SE. princejayboss: You are the biggest liar of the century.... If not for anything.... I was in Nigeria on the eve of the election, I visited the 2nd Niger bridge and it was not a drawing, it was a structure up to 30%completion.
Stop peddling lies and paid news. You are no 1 problem Nigeria has..... Be careful. |
