The simple solution is for these bankrupt states to be acquired by the economically viable states in their respective regions. Their governors could remain an arrowhead but major economic decisions will be made by those super States that acquired them. That is the only way to solve this.


Lagos, Rivers, Anambra, Kano, Ogun, Delta etc, should start acquiring these bankrupt states.

Even in ordinary Ghana you can't find this sort of national embarrassment- cows on the streets.

General, that means in this case Obi is innocent and clean of this matter because he merely sent the bank MD to a potential customer as he did not know how much was involved before sending the MD to market Diezani. Again it was the bank MD that was supposed to turn the transaction down if he found out that the CBN regulations forbids absorbing such amount that should have been reported to CBN in line with the regulations. I think the MD should be the fall guy here!

His crime is those transactions were not reported to the necessary quarters as expected by law. Banks give rendition of various reports to NFIU. EFCC and CBN on daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Some banks may have intentionally removed the transaction from the report and which is a crime on its own and it is also fraudulent in nature, apart from aiding and abetting a fraud.

All what the bank needed to do is just report. Whether the regulatory bodies are using the reports or not, it is not the bank's business and headache.

Anambra is among the states paying the highest even recently Obiano increased it by another 15%.

Stop giving excuses why imo state is worthless and broke thereby owing several months of unpaid salaries despite the FG bailout that has since been squandered by the fat incompetent Okorocha.

Imo state is currently the worst amongst states as the state is an ordinary civil service state and when civil servants are not paid as it is right everything and everyone becomes stranded. There nothing good to emulate from imo state.

The Imo State present firmula of 70:30 is another alternative other States can employ so that workers can work out their own salary structure with the funds available.
