I have found out that Gen Z has been unfaily judged over the years. The generation has been accused of lack of morals, unlimited guts, crude and many negatives But a critical look at gen Z will make one cut them some slacks Most negatives presently portrayed by GEN Z are being propelled by generation of the past Historically, most young persons see those older than them as role models/mentors These role model could be from families, religious house or environment However, most young persons finds entertainers especially as their role models Many people who are supposed to be role models to young persons especially GEN Z has failed to live up to their responsibilities as role models Most people whom the GEN Z look up to are now the biggest influencers of all the negatives attributed to the GEN Z. Entertainers of the 70s 80s and 90s did shits that are absorb but they do everything possible not to allow it go public in order not to be seen as negatively influencing the youths especially those who call them role model They had multiple sex partners, sex videos and lots more. But they also understood the role they play in societal building and made sure they hide their misdemeanors Fast forward to entertainers of today, they don't care about the society, they don't care about young people who see them as role model, they do just anything without recourse to morals Today, entertainers deliberately leak his or her sex tape and is so proud of it or eager to dam the consequences Many of them care less about impregnating multiple women. Having multiple sex partners. Many give advice of how to hawk their body or how to snatch people's wife or husband. With lots more vices they promote 99% of these entertainers and promoters of all these vices Were born from 80s to late 90s. GEN Z has their negative attributes but most negatives attributed to them are almost beyond their control. They have been negatively influenced by activities happening around them and generation past are the biggest culprit. Those born from 80s -90s may need to cut them some slacks and accept responsibility that they played a role to negatively influence the GEN Z. 80s and 90s Born can label the GEN Z whatever negative they feel like, but they will never run away from the fact that they are the biggest culprit in all the negative attributes Gen Z Portrays. 60s, 70s were the role models of early 80s and 90s young person and they were very careful with their life style. But 80s and 90s has been very lose and bad to 2000s-2020s young persons Sad. Note: I am not a Gen Z |
Labour party has rejected the tribunal case This I expected But the real issue is what next for labour party and Obi? The party gave a good account of itself in the last election surprisingly amassing large number of votes. They unsurprisingly fell short Their showing in this year's election despite it fell short can be deem as successful They must build on it. 2027 election is in 4-years and preparation for it already started I will suggest they proceed their case to supreme court. Not necessary because they have chance to win, but because it will keep them active in the media and will not significantly dilute their support base ahead of 2027 election Many ex and present candidates and parties applied these method. President Buhari did, Atiku also did. It made them remained relevant They should also try to sort out their internal issues. Having factions will limit their chances of present and future success They have to create the necessary alliance across board The party is unknown in northern Nigeria especially core north. It has to device a strategy to penetrate or break into that region While all these are important, it must cushion its supporters to embrace constructiveness instead of bullying and insulting opposing views The party must realise that power will remain in south till 2031 and return back to North So 2027 is a make or break for the party If it doesn't plan very well ahead of the 2027 election, it not get power in 2031. Even if it will, its candidate has to be a northerner Finally, the party also have control over a region and it can use that as a leverage to discuss possible alliance with other parties if need arises. Labour party you gave a good fight and I hope you not only learn from your mistakes, you build on your success |
gidgiddy:As expected, youust support the terrorist |
gidgiddy:And you are the number one trouble maker here on Nairaland for supporting terrorism in our region. I wonder why seun never ban people like you for life on this forum |
gidgiddy:And people who support sit at home activities are people who don't stay in south east, but are terrorists who stay outside the region. |
So the same KANU who started the sit at home madness is now the same KANU who is distancing himself? Who will ever believe that KANU is so arrogant and useless will be polite in his request |
Sai baba Buhari. You will always be appreciated for your infrastructures in the country. God bless you. |
Penguin2:Where in my post did you see me accuse you of calling for Kanu's release on your post even though I know for certain that you are an IPOB sympathizer. Because you have shown it time after time here on nairaland. |
Broveens42:Fly away |
Broveens42:So does that mean Osama bin laden is innocent of any crime because he wasn't present at most if his crime scenes? The same you lots accused Gowon of genocide during the war. Was Gowon present in south east during the war? You IPOB boys will be the doom of south east. |
Sometimes I find it repulsive and a bit insulting to an average Nigerian seeing south easterners clamouring for the release of Nnamdi KANU and at the same time calling for the arrest and repatriation of Simon Ekpa. First, is there anything Simon Ekpa is doing presently that KANU didn't do before his arrest? In fact KANU was more veracious and aggressive. The only similarities between both is lack of tact in their approaches. Is it not same KANU that asked his followers in radio Biafra and his social media handles to follow simon Ekpa and even called him his most trusted disciple. If not for control of finance between Ekpa and the DOS, they certainly will not be factions in IPOB. KANU severally called for sit at home in south east and severally threatened that if any cockroach is seen outside flaunting his order, he will be killed. KANU threatened the security operatives in south east, asking those from south east to either leave the Nigeria military or police or resign and join his Arm men. KANU it was who gave illegal guns and weapons to his illegal group. KANU it was who Eulogies Unknown gunmen and called them Angels who is delivering God judgment on their victims anytime there carry out attacks. He also called them angels. Infact, south east was already heavily in chaos and violence disrupted the region before KANU was eventually arrested. So what exactly is Ekpa doing that KANU didn't do worse? To the people of south east, especially the elites saying if they release KANU, the violence will stop and peace will return, a quick question to you, was there peace in south east before the arrest of Nnamdi KANU in Kenya? From records, the violence reduced after Nnamdi KANU was arrested. Furthermore, if south easterners believe Ekpa faction is responsible for the violence in south east, why have the DOS faction of IPOB not gone after Ekpa boys the way they claimed they went after Fulani herdsmen if truly they have south easterners at heart. The attempt to always shift blame on people is becoming a bit disgusting as well. Today Fulani is responsible for the violence Tomorrow it is either DSS, Military, Buhari, Tinubu, Hope Uzodinma or Asari. South east, we can't continue to play ourselves. You can't wish for Nnamdi KANU who is the root cause of the violence in south east be released and at same time with for Ekpa who is just the branch to be arrested. Call a spade a spade. Mynd44 Seun. This is a reply to penguin2 post questioning why Ekpa is still working freely. https://www.nairaland.com/7765373/sit-home-why-nigerian-government |
PeterObi4Presid:For supporting Peter Obi, may the de*ath of all those who die*d in anambra visit y*ou and your fa*mily |
Jorussia:
|
PeterObi4Presid:Can't you see you are making yourself for*olish already? A newspaper you posted here reported less than 60,000 deaths which obviously is a sad one. But you claimed 800,000 died under Buhari. Are you not retar*d? |
PeterObi4Presid:May the pa*in and d*eath recorded at Okuzu during Peter Obi reign as Governor visit yo*u and y*our generation. Amen |
PeterObi4Presid:Mynd44, hope you don't tolerate trolls like this? |
Dsimmer:There is nothing wrong in borrowing trust me as along as it is going to the right channel. But southern media made Buhari look bad for borrowing and are quiet now that Tinubu is the one taking one of the loans Buhari went for before he left. |
PeterObi4Presid:You smell*y obi supporter. You support a religious and ethnic bigot who till this minute support terrorists in his region and you come here to wet my thread. Get the Bleep out if my thread. Your useless peter obi who couldn't create wealth as Governor of anambra is whom you want to rule Nigeria. Buhari remain a national hero and there is nothing you and your fellow obbidiots can do about it. You will continue to wail and cry like babies. None of your generation will be close to the man Buhari's achievement. No be only 800,000 deaths na 8,000,000,000 deaths. Imbexil |
PeterObi4Presid:Are you already tired of coming to put Obasanjo in same breath with the Mandelas? Oponu |
PeterObi4Presid:Please shut up and have sense. What is the percentage of OBJ recruitment south to north? What was his achievement? The same man that devalued naira from 18naira to 144 naira? Or same man that took fuel from 11naira to 75naira? Or same man that took rice from 700 naira to 5,000? Or a man that embezzled $16B of our electricity money? Is the man f*oolish I'd*iot like you is praising? |
[qiuote author=PeterObi4Presid post=124398499]You are writing rubbish. I don't care about BAT, but Buhari has laid a very bad precedence that will make it hard for any successor from the camp of APC to do otherwise. After all, BAT said he will continue from where Buhari stopped. So what do you expect? The only man we can expect a very different approach and paradigm shift in governance can only be a Peter Obi. BaT will only give you tit for TaT to pay back in the devilish coin of nepotism and tribalism enshrined by Buhari. So rest. Stop posting rubbish cos of Ur fooolish love for Buhari. Anyone who expect Tinubu to do otherwise is simply a mumu who lack the foresight to read characters and mood of the politicians following Tinubu[/quote]Please keep quiet. Show me the difference between PMB's appointments and that of Obasanjo, GEJ and Tinubu |
Mantahirdra:It s very sickening. I m a southerner. From south east particularly. I still marvel at these things. 70% of Tinubu decisions so far are offshoot s of Buhari's decision. Apart from his appointments. Tinubu is following the pathway of PMB so far in 70% of his economic decisions. But media is silent yet made PMB the dullard. |
Dear Southern media, Before anything, let me sympathies with people who have been victims of man made and uncontrollable insecurities in the country in the last 7weeks. And also sympathies with Nigerians sacrificing for the betterment of the country as a result of the courageous economic decisions and policies of the present administration which hopefully is for the betterment of the country in the long run. Meanwhile, southern media Why are you silent on the happening in the country so far? I have not heard you scream Yorubanaization? Neither have I heard gaslight Nigerians to label Tinubu an ethnic Bigot. Let me remind you. Have you not seen Tinubu's newly appointed aids? More than 60% are from south west Nigeria and off Yoruba indigenes. Is it any different from the demography of president Buhari's aids? Is it any different from president Jonathan's aid? How about president Obasanjo? These presidents appointed people from mostly their region. During GEJ, south south made up 55% of his aids. Under Buhari, northerners made up 50% of his aids. Same as under Obasanjo. But you southern media singled out president Buhari and labeled him the bigot. This is even when he only had 37% fulanis as his aids. Because he is a northerner I suppose. Okay, I hope you saw the insecurities that has claimed lives and properties in some parts of the country. Why are you silent over it? It took you just one weak to start criticising president Buhari in 2015 despite he met large scale insecurity in the land. Southern media have you seen our exchange rate? Why are you silent now and put one over on president Buhari when he devalued naira with just less than 220%? Dollar rate is now 788 naira to a dollar. Southern media are you aware that president Tinubu will take the $800m loan from world bank? How come you are silent here? Who sealed your mouth? Oh! Tinubu is a southerner. I also forgot that of the 22 security appointments last two weeks by president Tinubu, 11 of them are from south west. Southern media why are you silent yet? Please note that I am not criticising president Tinubu decisions here especially his appointments. Every president appoint aids they can trust and there is obviously no federal character when appointing aids to presidents, but why do southern media keep quiet when southern presidents makes decisions like this and come all out smoking if it were northern President? Till this minute, I still ask people to justify the nepotism tag they placed on president Buhari and till this minute it they are yet to give any serious answer. At some point, president Buhari even appointed south more than north. Yet they accused him of nepotism. President Buhari made some courageous decisions which was made unpopular by the southern media. President Tinubu has done same thing and the media is silent. I pray for PBAT to succeed. |
Some numbheads accused Buhari of collecting and siphoning this loan. |
Obi is a disgrace. As time goes by, I give myself a thumbs up for never voting a two face man. Like seriously? Obi you are the most overrated politician in Nigeria. See him defending IPOB. |
Purported? Obi why? Chai! IPOB are responsible. Why are you defending them? |
When the terrorist in chief started hailing his boys |
Kennedy you brought shame and disgrace to not only your family, but also we your friends. I m so disappointed Kennedy. |
LOVEALAIGBO:Please speak truth. After this meeting, IPOB and Nnamdi KANU continued his madness. Nnamdi KANU created Biafra security service without any law backing it. We saw them parading. This was after he nnamdi KANU was released. He started flaunting his bail conditions. He was seen among more than 10persons. Started granting interviews and continue making threats. It was when he created that security outfit and threatened the to go and bring the head of buhari that military went after him and he ran away. Stop speaking lies. |

These people will tell you APC ruin the country comparing prices of goods n services, but they will not tell you what PDP did. Price of fuel was less than 20 naira before PDP but same PDP left it at 87 naira. Almost 500% increase. Dollar was less than 21 naira but they left it at a little short of 200 naira. Almost 2000% increase. Painfully, Most of those who will accuse APC and PDP of similar mismanagement were supporting PDP since 1999 but ported to LP last year. |
