So I was looking for a car with a budget of 1.25m. Got a matrix from a dealer who happen to be the dad of my friend. He said he has checked the car and it's very very good with sound engine. Got it for that price with abeg. Less than a month driving it only to work not up to 5 times I've spent almost 300k on the car. Mechanic is telling me engine has fault. It's barely 2months I got the car. Used almost 1month to sort the papers and my first month using the car all this came up. What will you advice? I'm not experienced that's why I went for someone I knew who is a dealer. Is this normal? |

POWER resides with the people. We have just witnessed the power of the people unleashed....unfortunately in a destructive way (the looting and burning of buildings) The power unleashed destructively causing damage and pain can also be unleashed as a constructive political force for progress and gain. The power that played out, burning buildings can also play out in the ballot box, installing a new political order that would finally deliver the goods. It only needs to be organised as such. The people only need to realise they have this power and have it in their hands now. The so called "Power's that be" could not stop the burning........ neither will they be able to stop the ballot. The time has come for the emergence of a new political order. The opportunity has come for new political alignments of like minded people with the singular purpose of serving the people and making the nation great. If properly presented, the masses will listen and the ballot will win. The old order will not be able to stop it; this power will be too much for them to handle. Remember, the mayhem was caused by a tiny percentage of the population, yet look at the carnage. Imagine the effect when a large percentage of the population is involved but at the ballot box. None will be able to stop its push for change. This we must do, and do so quickly. It must be done, while we still have the opportunity to do so. We must do it sooner than later. Later is likely to be too late going by what we have just seen in the streets. We must give hope. We must give it quickly. The streets have lost all hope in the old order. It's time to present the new, but it must be presented properly. ( subject for another day ) A group that put together a peacful protest(they had nothing to do with the mayhem that after followed), that was effective, well orgainised, attracting international attention and raising millions of Naira both home and abroad and put to good use can channel the same people power into a political movement that would dispense with the old and usher in the new. Even the hoodlums that caused the mayhem would drop their violence and rally behind the cause when they see hope. Ignore the nay sayers. It won't be easy, we know but it can be done. We must turn this power away from the burning of buildings to the ballot box. We must do it now.

That's where I grew up. Lovely place GeoandSonsHub: |
Oga I understand but permit mecto say you were mentally lazy. I worked in the bank and in 4years I moved from teller to E-channels because i went out of my way to send mails to the head of department profering solutions. Alot of peoplw like you go to the bank becsuse you see the flashy suits like you rightly said, even in heaven you must work and worship God forget the gold. Today i work else where and im using my skills and ideas to grow where I am and im happy for it. As a teller I was going to school running a second degree in ICT, i met alot of people there who were too relaxed on the salary. Wake up, your branch has problems start solving them and you will see your mind come alive again to do great things. FellaG: |
