This thing you call constitution is a literature composed to give a section of the country a deal against their interest. Its a arewa wolf in sheep skin. When you turn down a deal offered from arewa things can get very ugly quickly.

ESN has found a way to return the ugliness, like for like. Any questions

Look, make we talk true, ive been paying attention at four states around this country and kwara is one of them, me I no go lie, my person na saraki any day but when it comes to governance and administration the otoge people and the current governor are unique.

Im actually begging God in his mercy and utmost glory to please give us one or two administration in East like the people of kwara have. If we get even just one governor like this guy and his movement, if we no surpass Lagos in five years call me bastard.

If kwara governor can provide some stable infrastructure im ready to relocate from Lagos. No lie.

I had hope on Makinde because Oyo was also on my list. So is Bayelsa and Ondo. Ondo and Oyo already messed up. Bayelsa is ok but we need more visibility to understand how the governor is coping.

If these Arewa states refuse to change then their situation would remains permanent it's not a curse it's a fact

Their case is already permanent and irreversible. This is the will of God. Dont tell them to change. Thats like telling them not to accept God's will.

You're one of the objective ipob on this forum. A working Lagos will favor both Yoruba and Igbo , I see no reason for hatred.
Those who make money in Lagos will send something to family in the east, I don't know why people don't think positive at times

Thank you my brother. Exactly!
We are in West to excel, we are grateful for the opportunity. Igbo can be very useful for Yoruba, in many ways. That angle of mutual benefits should be explored. Ive always said we can never be united, we must not seek unity but an alliance between Igbo/Yoruba is possible.
We want Yoruba to appreciate us as we also appreciate you with the opportunity we have in West. What can we do for Yoruba?

The Lagos before Tinubu cannot be compared to the one Tinubu helped to give a meteoric rise.

The most developed Lagos was the one under its first governor Johnson. Not the one under tinubu.

The reason you think tinubu developed Lagos is because other states were lackadaisical in their own progress. So comparatively tinubu appeared to be superman amongst his peers.

If you go back to the Johnson administration the people of Lagos had sanitation, health, security, clean environment, free trade, progress, culture, diversity, order.

Under tinubu, beside trade there is no other highpoint to credit him for heroism.

My only concern is those anti Christians Islamic threads that are created and still make FP.

No one is saying you should stop people from swearing an oath before commenting on Islamic threads but when it is a thread that is "Christian phobia" y
Christians should be allowed to make contributions without having to swear an oath to Mohammed.

Mr Seun, Lalasticlala, Mynd44 I am still disappointed that a certain thread that talks about collecting gift from Christians during festive period not because you love them but with the intention of converting them, made front page.

This is 2021 such insensitive threads that are capable of causing division should never make front page again.

Nairalanders happy new year
Mr Seun happy new year
Lalasticlala happy new year
Reposting for visibility.

I remember I opened a counter-thread to that nonsensical kaffirism called thread where one donkey herder offered opinion on permissibility of muslim accepting gift from christian. Nothing can be more anti-communal and divisive. Yet my counterthread was deleted.

In the thread i questioned the logic and justification of bringing a thread meant for an exclusive group, as guaranteed by the oath password, to a global population. The intent behind that is to bait and force the cult oath on people that ordinarily do not share in the cultism the oath protects. Infact, it is an exploitation! An exploitation of free will to dissociate from the cult.

Nairaland should be more watchful. There is thin line between freedom of expression and harassment. A thread baiting people to join cult is an harrassment.

Discussing relationship of exchange between christians and muslims should necessarily interest both groups and draw participation. Now, the christians cannot participate freely; they are not qualified! To qualify you must swear by an oath to believe and support a creed which is anti-christian. Infact that muslim oath is called the "attestation in islam and believe in its prophet Muhammed". In its essence, you should deny your own faith in order to enter the thread and defend wrong allegations and propaganda directed at christianity. This is what makes it a bait.

It is harrassment because ordinarily threads with passwords (oath) confer a privilege. In this case the privilege of being a muslim. There is a section purposely dedicated to that privilege. When you go to the section you act voluntarily to seek and obtain that permission. The Front Page on the other hand is open, privilege there is uniform and universal. No threads with privilege access should be in the mix. It is a tresspass to redirect such threads from its hidden section to the open gallery where it ordinarily does not belong. The context is a very controversial topic. By denying people in Front Page free access into the thread, the rules of engagement has changed. What was ordinarily an involuntary expectation is now voluntary, and besides, if you refuse to adopt the oath then you must sit and watch defenseless as muslims give opinion of you and instruct other fellow muslims how to relate with you. This is an harassment.

Im begging nairaland mods, please, I take God beg una, leave muslim topics in their section. If in your discretion you believe bringing it to Front Page helps cross-religious understanding and uplifts communal understanding, then advice its owner that you will UNLOCK IT and bring to Front Page with zero privilege. It is respectful to first get the okay of the thread owner, it is also respectful to not force Front Page participants into a oath before sharing knowledge.

Long Live Nairaland!

Im glad OP opened this thread. Nairaland has been turned into an anti-Igbo platform. It has become a whip they use to flog Ndigbo. We resent it passionately. It is unfair that so much disdain is shown towards a non-terror organization like IPOB whereas no one care much to focus attention and condemn atrocities of real terror in kebbi, sokoto, zamfara, kaduna, katsina, where casualties and losses occur daily.

A change is needed, and it starts with Nairaland leadership.

Happy New Year!

Now I understand you. But I believe no one set out to be an asiwaju warrior it's just a way to rub it on his haters faces that an injury to asiwaju is an injury to Lagos/Southwest. Lagos would not have been a pacesetter had Tinubu not been a strong man that's why some of us attribute the ilosiwaju of Lagos to him.

Lagos had always been a pacesetter before tinubu was born, and will continue so after his death.

Cant they tell this is what the man wants? Sowore wants to become a legend. He wants to earn street credit as a pprisoner of conscience and appearance infront of reputable international news organization.

Very soon news will go around that he is arrested and pundits will invite sahara. The invitation brings in dollars. Sowore himself will be invited to go round news networks and speak. More money and opportunity to paint Buhari in very negative ways._ Sowore already has a lobbyist that will make noise and highlight his imprisonment as political tyrranny.

Politics / Bandits & Their Trojan Camel by AsiwajuNdigbo: 2:07am On Jan 01, 2021
says Kidnappers use ransom money to buy weapons

By Ibrahim HassanWuyo

The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has raised alarm that camels carrying lot of baggage’s were crossing Nigeria’s borders into the country on a daily basis.

This was contained in a statement titled, “Our borders and insecurity” made available to journalists on Thursday by the ACF’s national chairman, Audu Ogbeh.

He said the forum was informed of the disturbing development by some of ACF’s members from Sokoto and Zamfara states.

“And they observed that nobody checks their baggage and nobody knows what is being brought into Nigeria,” he said.

Mr. Ogbe alleged that ransom money were being used by terrorists to buy illegal arms, stressing “It is clear now from what we know that as victims pay ransoms to the kidnappers ,the money is instantly converted to more sophisticated weapons and instruments of death by the kidnappers."

According to him, ” the forum observed that large consignments were being transported into the country on daily basis unchecked.

The forum is worried that this kind of situation will persist for a long time.”

At the last meeting of our National Executive Council, NEC, in October 2020, our members, particularly from Sokoto and Zamfara, reported that large consignments of Camels were crossing our borders into Nigeria with a lot of baggage on their backs on a daily basis.

And they observed that nobody checks their baggage and nobody knows what is being brought into Nigeria.

“The question Arewa Consultative Forum would like to ask the security agencies is what are the Camels carrying and where they are heading?

“The ACF is alarmed that this kind of situation should persist at a time when weapons of all kinds are coming into our country and worsening the climate of terror and national uncertainty.

“It is clear now from what we know that, as victims pay ransoms to the kidnappers the money is instantly converted to more sophisticated weapons and instruments of death by the kidnappers.

“The capacity of these terrorists is rising by the day and we are not far from the moment when the terrorist will become better armed than our accredited security agencies.

“The ACF wants to alert the government about this situation, if they are not aware of it and if they are aware of it, to ask what they are doing about it.

Already, it is speculated that weapons as dangerous as Rocket Propelled Grenades RPGs, and anti-aircraft guns are part of the cargo ferried by camels freely into our country from neighbouring countries.

“It will do the nation a great deal of good to deal with this situation immediately. The ACF is deeply worried,” he said.

Igbos are very easy to work out for those who see beyond the surface. They are a hateful people who only respond to harsh, unapologetic and uncompromising responses to their brattish behaviour.

Look at all those who deal with Igbos and show them open disrespect and disdain.

Wike, Fulanis and PDP for example. All Igbos know to do is cowardly hide their face from them.

Yet it is civil, apologetic and conscientious Yorubas that Igbos love blackmailing.

I have worked Igbos out and that is why I will never indulge or be polite to an Igbo here since I know that approach achieves nothing with them.

Igbos are the people who best validate the saying "treat em mean keep em keen".

Yorubas, stop indulging Igbos. They hate you
