enlady: I don't know what to make of Gov Ortom and the APC Benue reps at the national assembly. They are irredeemable sycophants. The Benue reps were the most vocal in supporting Buhari during the rowdy session over the aircraft purchase saga. I was also suprised when the rep from Benue with the tiv cap was defending him. |

So who is of questionable character among this retired generals Gen. J.T Useni, Gen. John Temlong, Gen. India Garba, Gen. Ishaya Bamaiyi, Gen. E.T Nienge, Gen. Laurence Onoja, Gen. M.D Chong, Col. Habibu Shuaibu, Navy Commodore Isaac M. Mankilik, Commodore D.T Hinga, Commodore Mainasara B. Kaoje and Maj. Hassan Zara. These are just few heavy weight in the north. Some are now traditional rulers and don't want to get themselves involved in politics General Domkat Bali (Paramount ruler of the langtant speaking tribe of Plateau state) and Da Jacob Gyang(Gbom gyom jos and the chairman plateau state council of chiefs) a former comptroller general of customs. |

bong4: So the North has all these heavyweights but can only gather to kick Buhari out of Aso Rock? If only they can join forces to advance education, healthcare and other soci-economic activities which will benefit the less privilege and eradicate the almajiri syndrome, the creation of future buharis will be totally eroded Bro not the north in general but the middle belt region. From the list of general, most of them are from plateaus. It still baffles me that the far north continues to take the middle belt for a ride. Late 90's to 2010, plateau state in particular langtang local government had the highest number of general in this country. Have you heard of the langtang mafia's googgle it. I feel happy that the are waking up from their slumber. |
