I don't know why people especially here on nairaland keep using these word BROKE instead of poor. Especially you girls should come out clean and say you won't marry or date a poor man than hiding behind the word broke.

I was shocked when i overheard my 22yr old sister while having a convo with mum referred to some guys i know as "small boys" ...maybe they are after financial stability or they just want men who are matured enough to handle their excesses.. we didn't break up officially. We lost contact for 7 years during riots in the north. while I was wishing we'd get back together and still had my mind on her, my paddy who knew how much she meant to me decided to lick lick pot first before giving me her contact.
