Ol boy congrats on ur car What type did you buy??Sorry i posted before without noticing u just said you bought the car. I recommend that you do a full service. What I did for mine was take it to those mechanics at petrol stations I believe they are better than roadside mechanics or take it to a specialist. Explain to them then let them search everything and change it to what your pocket can manage. Mine there were a lot of things that had to be changed like the brake pads, spark plugs, lights, filters. it was long for me cause the car had been parked for about a year, but this might not necessarlily be the same for you. Good luck sha |
Tokubo-toks- means used from abroad then imported to Nigeria. babyboy - Honda Accord 1999 Padded - me to im not sure. I think it means pimped a bit. But There are many more we can build a dictionary of all these slangs |
The most expensive thing ive used MY own money to buy was a motorola star tac phone. Cost me 175pounds. A month later raining on my way to college water spoilt the phone and the repair man i gave it to ran away with it. Since then i tend not to spend too much on material things now 1. Denim blazer 85pounds 2. Frames 6000naira 3. My car (is a car an accessory) 4. Digital Camera 499dhubabrs (or something like that-- Dubai Currency) 5. Timberland boots 20K (when they were the thing to buy but ive lost them since) I hope im not too bad sha |
Yeah we used to go there. Going there in the evening was a long thing u have to catch a train or bus and getting back u use a cab which would probly cost about 25quid. Ive actually left there im back in Lagos sha. |
Things to check, • Insufficient engine coolant or water in the radiator unit • Leakage along the water hoses line or radiator unit • Faulty electrical cooling fan • Alternator not charging • Faulty radiator cap, loses water on acceleration • Loose or broken water pump belt • Faulty thermostat • Faulty cooling fan relay • Broken fan fuse • Blocked radiator fins (insufficient air flow),needs flushing • Leaking or damaged water pump gotten from www.1000carsales.com |
If you dont have a domicillary account you leave that part blank on the form and the issuing house will open a domicillary account for you. U have to make sure that you sign the form and also put in a valid current account. Those are what I believe are necessary. |
Can I ask you a question. Would you want to sell you DVD system cause thats what im interested in not the car. Let me know the details of the system if u are. |
Thanks guys I have decided to wait until I have enough money to buy the permit. I appreciate the stuff on the law because its good to know. Someone could just say u dont need it and ill just go do it. So all info was appreciated sha. Thanks |

Sounds too fishy. I had an experience with a girl like that she was always holding her phone her hand would be sweating i would be like aaaaah leave the phone now. doing all these funny things. guys would call her she would try to be sounding rude and hostile. bullshit sounds like this girl is trying to play games with guys she sounds to easy. dump the babe |
@poster brother please what is the problem so i can know what to advise you on, Ade |
@mandora. You like drama abi?? @topic. I was going to say you should turn it off then upside down and wait for it to dry. I would say that now if you need to use the sound when u are reading , try and get earphones these can be bought easily and see if it works. If the earphones dont work as well. I would advice you take it to a technician and not open it yourself. Maybe you should try the ESPC someone advised and see if that works sha. @hot angel. its good u know u talk too much. lol. Goodluck. |
@long one the town is really dry. If you are staying for masters 1 year that would be ok cause by the time u spend one year there yuo wuold have done everything there is to do. But if you are staying for 2 years or longer then go somewhere else if you are looking for a fun town. As a fresher (year 1) i thot it would be so fun and interesting , but i found out that the locals were really unfriendly towards the students which means that u can only go out and have fun in the city center where the Uni is. The center is small and in 1 month you can do everything and go every where there is to go in Coventry university. That is my opinion sha. |
I would say Ferarri and Mercedez. Ferarri in terms of outisde beauty BMW in terms of interior + engine beauty Thats my opinion |
No I have not I am still looking. I just wanted the message to go up in the forum list so more people can read it. Any info would be appreciated. |
@zhia2000 Hi, i would be real interested and would appreciate if you could send the draft plan to me. Thanks my email address is atilladanger@yahoo.com |
I went to Coventry University. I wouldnt advise anyone to go there. Not because of the Uni itself but because of the town. It is a very depressing town and i was unhappy there. The uni itself is interesting. Have u been to University already?? what did you study?so im wondering why you want to do a second degree. I belive an online business can be done from anywhere. so why bother coming to lagos if that is what you want to do. But if you want to work try and start looking for a job now. we will gist more sha |
Hi would you guys recommend that I should invest in the discovery fund?? I have been interested but keep on putting it off. Please advice me. |

I believe a house should be chosen instead of a car. Building a house would be more expensive than a car (hhm depends small sha) but I believe it is an asset that would add more to your life and future. The car would involve a lot more money and then the value would go down rather than up but having a house the price of later resale should normally get u more profit. Having a car is not an investment unless it is needed for your business or job. It is more of a luxury. If i had the choice i would go for a house anyday. |
Hi his budget is 400 thousand Naira per year. I forgotten the name of the Area behind Palms, I wouldnt like that area. But anywhere in the normal victoria Island side. Near mega plaza, around sanusi fafunwa. Anywhere in VI really. Please I would appreciate any information from you guys. thanks a lot. |
Hi I have a friend who needs a two bedroom flat in Ikoyi or V.Island urgently. He is ready to pay for 1 year and depending on how nice the flat is probably longer (2 years or more). He needs it urgently so I would appreciate if anyone could get back to me as soon as possible. Thanks Guys |
Eeeh its sha there ![]() check under the section for used cars. I wont lie to u I havent driven any of these cars but I would go for the nissan. 1. Because the 99 is a nice model, I saw the inside of one to day and it was really nice auto, mahogany, alloys while the Bulldog is older with less accessories 2. Bulldog is a yahoozee mobile. Go to ilupeju and u will see bulldog in every house there. police will stop u and bother u in Ikeja and u young 3. Nissan is earlier model 4. Friend with Nissan Maxima has only had like 1 major problem with his ride |
Ol boy please be careful. I dont know u but i just hope you know that these bikes are really dangerous. Its not even the bikes but the combination of All these lagos pot holes and crazy drivers in nigeria. Just try and get a small car instead of a bike abeg |
try this guy Fred Ebims Silver Point - Car Security Experts 08022022220 7207750 They do all kind of car security. he did it once for my friends car, when someone was washing the car it was calling him in Ghana and he was calling home all worried. funny but very effective stuff sha. |
@rowlandwhy - the reason i want to tint my windows is cause its looks cool, plus i dont really like the sun and sometimes cant be wearing glasses all the time, i guess it causes less heat to come in my ride also i hate it when i get in and its blazing hot or im in go slow and sweating, my ac is not that strong. I want to do the thing the correct way cause i learnt that when u save money and buy cheap things in naij u always end up paying for it one day and ull be like why did i do this. Imagine one day ill be with a babe cruising and then those lastma guys would be like aaah friday we must chop from this guy. And probly ive just taken the babe to chop and she has wiped out all my money and ill sweating. Ill be like "WHY DIDNT I JUST PAY FOR THIS PERMIT!"' U understand why now guys |
If I hook you up with one, how much commision would I get?? Ive seen a few around for sale |
Honda Accord 2.0 ils sorry imnot sure about the year |
