Sharpsharp00123:Minimum wage tinubu-bots to the rescue. Where you the one organising the secret and unreported kidnappings that happened during obj's period? |

YoungBTCxchange:Do you have a reading problem? or is this a learning disability?
|
YoungBTCxchange:Tell me more. You think wealth is measure only in cash? Many rubbish talk on nairaland. Explain how someone earning N1.5M will sponsor his partner schooling abroad with no other means of support? |
castins:Except you have some savings to rely on or your wife will do some work when she gets there, I am sorry mate N1.5M is not worth much in today's world (less than $1,000). Also, I guess you also have to carter for yourself from that N1.5M? |
CodeTemplarr:That's exactly right, bro. When people realise that more money must be lost than won for a sports company to turn a profit, they will understand that they are set up to fail with sports betting. |
EBUBS:A sports betting platform sets its odds so that more money will be lost than won. That is how sports betting companies continue to exist, and by the way they are growing rapidly in Nigeria, you can tell many Nigerians are losing a lot of money. Count your losses and move on. It is the same way a casino operates. If you visit a casino frequently and they notice you are winning on a slot machine often, they will ask you not to come again or to play another machine. They are in business only when people lose more money collectively than they gain. |
nairavsdollars:yahoo also create jobs. |
Sterope:What operation did she carry out against gaza? if you don't have the time to read the article, its better not to comment |
Kingbharry:If the western countries focus on the conflict, the arab countries will blame them for it. Meanwhile, these same arab countries will not lift a finger to help or stop the atrocities. |
Kobojunkie:Not sure why you are attacking the guy views without directly stating what you find wrong with abstaining from premarital sex. Abstaining from premarital sex just like fasting, has benefits without even being examined through a religious lens. Firstly, it is a demonstration of the self-discipline of the intending couples which is key to marital fidelity and marital fidelity will help a marriage last longer. Secondly, it is a display of maturity and self-sacrifice. Intending couples can come together and take a difficult decision that goes against their natural will. This is also another key character attribute the will help a marriage last longer as both couples can come together and act selflessly in pursuit of a goal they consider greater. Third, abstaining from sex helps reaffirm that the basis of their affection is not driven by sex. Both couples are able to appraise each other and appreciate those attributes that isn't found in sex which is good from their long time commitment because there would be many times when one partner would not be available to have sex for an extended period. Lastly, as a guy, abstaining from sex not just before marriage but even intermently during marriage is good for building up your mental strength and focus. Which is why in grueling sports and occupations, it is frown upon when men engage in sex rather than focus on the task at hand e.g in a football camp |
stasius:The average federal hospital is more equipped than the average private hospital. This is why many private hospitals operate as specialist hospitals to be able to be focused and equipped around a niche area. ask around. |
captainking:If an injury is likely to result in a fatality private hospital would be reluctant to take him. Also most are less equipped the federal hospitals |
Dog will sometimes eat clay or grass for nutritional or health reasons. |
Anyways they gave apc they highest votes, it is only fair they enjoy the agbado more than others. Where are the APC bots? Helinues and Co, come and gaslight the lazy northerners or use Peter obi to scatter the conversation as usual |
chizzy161:Don't give up! Give your landlord heads up that you need more time to pay rent. Be specific though as to went you intend to pay the rent. A lot has change since the present government came to power, its not news and you are not the only victim. Before that that workout how you intend to regain your financial balance. If you have to make cuts to your lifestyle , dont shy away from it, hopefully it will be temporal. Also network and look out for another source of income. Nairaland is a good place to network. Tell people what your skills and resource is and ask them to advise on a way to generate income. |
WhizdomXX:Please takes this picture down. It is embarrassing to call something in this condition a battle ship. The battle for anyone on a ship that looks like this is not sinking. |
frog12:Almost all no 9 have been unlucky in Chelsea since after the era of Drogba, and this was when Chelsea was still red hot. Chelsea would have been a big gamble. |
Nakashima:I get your point, but I also strongly suspect he did not have a suitable top club asking for his service. They would not say this clearly also, because that would kill his value in the market. Chelsea would likely have killed his career judging by the precedence of what has happened to strikers that moved there since after Drogba and Chelsea is not even a title contender based on recent performance. |
Nakashima:He won the Italian cup as a key player; he has already achieved more than many of his peers can boast. If he is closer to 30, he has only a few years left to play, so it makes sense to chase the bag. Only a few players can play top-level football into their late 30s. |
Nakashima:Do you really think Osimhen is 24? |
He had a beautiful soul. Very solid guy |
Djdamian:Wow, solid member on nairaland. Life is a mystery, let's live with purpose and impact. Some years ago when I wanted to buy a car on nairaland from someone in the auto section, I contacted Gazzuzz for pre-purchase inspection. Notwithstanding that the seller may realise he was the reason the deal was called off, Gazzuzz told me to avoid the guy as he sell cars that have many of the original parts replaced with low grade substitutes. Did not charge me a penny for this advise. Very solid guy |
donbrowser:Your case is a sad one , but you are probably too far gone to know you are a victim also. To survive, you post anti-tinubu message on tiktok but post pro-tinubu message on nairaland for which you are also likely paid peanuts. You want to japa to Poland on a visitor's visa, you work in lasema, you do fiverr, you do uber. If you have to do all these to survive, and you likely just manage to get by, you may not realise it but you are also a victim.
|
donbrowser:You continue to peddle APC rubbish here; you now do 5 different jobs to get by...you may not realise it, but "tinubu" is already happening to you also. Continue to celebrate and clamour for your oppressor. |
This thread is a microcosm of Nigeria, when oppressed by their leaders, they attack one another rather than unite to attack their oppressor. @dapotemi, I also believe that ehailing as a career has limited prospects largely due to the "government factor" in Nigeria. However, this is not limited to hailing, it's difficult for most small businesses to thrive in Nigeria. And so, self-development with a view to seeking a second hussle or more secure alternative is advisable. However, if businesses are not thriving because of the government, it is reasonable and expected that the people will hold them accountable rather than blame the victims of government policies even if they are not as affected as other victims. This is victim shaming; unfortunately, this character has held the country behind and left the leaders unaccountable. Don't be surprised; some started the year with two sources of income, and as of today, they have none, not because they did not try but because tinubu happened to both sources of income. Many solid multinationals in the country are downsizing due to the economic situation. I have two friends who started the year in senior positions at Unity & Heritage Bank, respectively. Both banks were financially distressed with negative net equity. However, the one in Heritage is now unemployed and seeking new employment. Given his very senior role he previously held and the state of the economy, it has not been so easy finding a job at his level. The one in unity remains employed, and CBN has given the bank a major lifeline that has made the bank stable and taken away the going-concern threat. The one unity is no better than the one that was at heritage, it was just time and chance. |
dapotemi:Be careful what you wish for. Just like yesterday we warned people about tinubu, today even at 1,000 per liter, petrol is scarce. Many Nigerians can no longer afford 3 squares meals a day, not even the agbado he promised. Companies and folding up and down the country. Even the juggernauts like MTN raked larges losses over the past 18months. You could be trivialising it but "tinubu" is happening to a lot of people, he may eventually get to you. |
mrjojo:The guy is complete otondo. He think giving the girl 2k daily is an expression of love, he does not know he's is now in a commercial arrangement. |
