I passed my driving test at the 3rd attempt and took all 3 tests within a month. Mind you, I live in an area which has very high car ownership rate and very long waiting list.

Go to the booking site every monday or tuesday morning and refresh for cancellations. There are even bots that can do it for you. I did it without a bot, you too can but not with your kind od mindset

Japa or no japa, if you're comfortable with minimum wage then you're still sleeping! The expectation is that you do that minimum wage for a couple of hyears and then naturally grow into higher paying job.

In 2010, I arrived US making minimum wage from cleaning floors, 3 years later I was making 55,000 a year and felt comfortable, fast forward 12 years later, I'm making close to 300k per year between the job and businesses yet the drive and passion never stops, abroad is what you make of it.

There's no one path to success and life abroad is full of ups and downs, even high earners could find themselves unemployed, this is why even when comfortable you cannot afford to relax and dull yourself.....Stay hungry, stay disciplined....Keep growing, never ever ever BE COMPLACENT !

Go and read through and you will realise many people there bought their first house in the country within 2-3 years there. They didnt do that on £11 per hour job and they are not a small privileged minority as you are fond of suggesting, else the thread will not be so active.

The fact that according to you, working minimum wage job, doing basic hours and your wife working minimal hours and minimum wage job, you can still afford to send £150 (N300k) monthly, save £100 from your end and £700 from your wife (about N1.6M) monthly, you cannot sense there is a big window of opportunity in the country to thrive which nigeria would not afford you, you clearly are the problem, not the country

If you need data, get a broadband.

The month of a virgin broadband plus 2 lebara sim is less than £40 a month.

Also, you dont need to pay for a TV license except you are buying a TV to watch live TV shows. You can but a smart TV and stick to streaming platforms.

There was a guy who said he had an air bnb to let for a short while and I paid him for the flat for the week I was meant to stay. How do I rectify this? I’m thinking of calling the council to let them know I didn’t register for council tax and it was done fraudulently cos I remember this guy did ask for my term letter but when I asked what for he didn’t say the reason. I’m suspecting he registered my details but didn’t put my phone number or email so I wouldn’t know. I’ve received no notifications of any sort. This letter came to my new address in England and this whole situation happened in Swansea.

If you are a student or your partner is a student, let them know you are not liable in tbe first instance.
