Plz i need help. A girl i decides to settle down with was tested hep b positive last month. I quickly went for same test but mine was negative. I am very scared to go in with the marriage considering how dangerous we were made to believe about this illness.

1.can she have a safe baby without passing over the hep to the new born.

2. Will she die prematurely

3. Will I be 100% protected with vaccine and have safe sex for child bearing.

4. How accessible is this immunoglobulin and how much is it. I am in owerri imo state.

what other precautions do I need to take.

1. Yes she can have a baby without passing on hep to the baby.
2. We all pray to see our gran n great-grand children.
3. There are cases of been positive but d virus is dormant (in active carrier) so it is not transferable to anyone. Nb: not very sure ask a medical practitioner
4. Most big pharmacies have Immunoglobin but it have to be kept refrigerated at all time. Cost depends on location from 65k to 125k around my location. It is to be injected on to the baby within the 1st 24 to 48 hours of birth

I finally had the courage to appear here.Its been such a long while
I had to come to terms with loosing my baby on the 19th August.I have shed tears,grieved and I am coming to terms with my loss after an emergency cs.

Hello ladies ...... So I have ported again.

Had my baby girl on the 27th Dec. @ 33weeks. had to be put in an incubator. It's so heart breaking seeing her like that. can't hold or touch. Grateful she is alive.

I need a good breast pump. no idea how much it goes for
manual / electric.

trying not to be depressed.

So i am doing this in faith and with faith like we did last Friday on the ATC thread, cos i have tarried too long on this mountain and i am ready to break-forth with singing for God will arise and have compassion on me, for it is time to show favor to me, the appointed time has come. Amen!!!

Birth story
Still finding it hard to believe am a mum�☺. I was admitted on the 20th Nov for surgery on the 21st ol tests done. Had my bath early morning n the theatre attendants came for me by 9:10am, surgery started at 10:14am n baby was out by 10:20am. He was cleaned n shown to me prayed for him n he was taken to SCBU for examination.  Then the shivering started cos I lost a lot of blood was given injection for where it didn't stop I was connected to monitoring machine in the recovery room. Was dia till past 12pm b4 it subsided Alhamdulillah n was wheeled out to the ward didn't raise my head till d next morning was asked only turn my head side to side n no use of pillow. The baby was brought back by 6:00pm in perfect bill of health Alhamdulillah. We were discharged on Friday the 24th. Our baby A is  a big foodie Alhamdulillah.

My wee man made his grand entrance at about 3:31pm today weighing in at 3.11kg thru VD with little tear. Baby and momma doing well. All glory to God. It finally ended in praise. I’m great full oh Lord. I wish the remaining mamas safe delivery
