Yes, I know this, and also, you must have been fully vaccinated for at least 14days to your travel date too.
It's right in their publication. Thank you

You can do your test on Thursday, and book a place for quarantining on bookings.com

I know. No, POF for CAS wasn't a requirement.

ndidibabe:
Life in Portsmouth is expensive. Did they ask you for POF before CAS?

You can defer, just email & follow directions from your school/school rep. And it's important that you weigh your options and are fully prepared before going through this route, hence the reason you have a deferment option.

OmichaelO:
thank you so much.

Can I defer just incase if "unforeseen circumstances come up"?

I want to weigh my options carefully before embarking on this journey.

Yes, you can. They are currently on UK's amber list. However, you might not like the airline in terms of comfort or if you have used better ones in the past, That's the only comma.

They are good airlines, you will definitely need a transit visa, search the thread for the amount that was paid by someone that used the airline recently, or visit their website on how to book for one and the cost.

Just check on booking.com.
Enter your destination-location, e.g Southampton.
Filter all you are looking out for, e.g: 1 or 2bedrooms, apartments/houses, private bathroom, free cancellation, etc. and you will see lots of options and their prices.
P.s: you will enter your check-in and check-out date as well.

elisinho:

Any tips towards locating that type and average cost?

God bless you. The unnecessary paranoia is alarming.

Amarathripple0:

The easiest way to settle is with your post study visa. Isn’t that the reason most people are leaving, because the UK Gov has opened up that option? If you guys like don’t mix with other races, that’s how you’ll end up missing out on amazing opportunities because you are scared of harmless people. I repeat, if you abide by all their rules and you do not do anything illegal, you’ll be fine. Please stop with this weird Nigerian mentality so people can get actual information on how to process their visas. I come in peace!

My brother, the matter weak me.
That is how some people miss out on opportunities and offers that they could have benefited from, but they will rather keep to themselves.
People over there don't even have their time, so I'm wondering the need for the whole secrecy. Naija people ehn.

hustla:

What's with the paranoia?

Abeg, when una reach UK, mix up and open your ears

Left to me, it's best to mingle well outside your race sef so your brain can open to nee ideas

E say secret, shey na cult una dey go ni or school grin

Your vaccine doesn't count if it was not taken in the UK or EU. You must quarantine and take your day 2 and day 8 tests.

Please house. Greetings. Anyone to university of Sunderland?

Please oh, when applying for visa for masters student

do I need to attach my Bank statement or I can use only my sponsor's?
Travel / Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by atyadz1: 12:53pm On Aug 24, 2021
Thanks for your input. This will be in consideration too.

Zeecos:

I personally would prefer a bills inclusive package because it simplifies cost for you. You just pay your rent and that’s it. And most times, it works out cheaper than renting a house and paying the bills yourself.
As for the inspection process, it depends on the agents. Some will insist on a physical viewing while others are more accommodating. So just keep searching until you find a reasonable agent
Travel / Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by atyadz1: 12:52pm On Aug 24, 2021
Right. How do I get the accommodation contract, please? From the agents/agency?

Zeecos:

You can use your accommodation contract as proof of address instead of a utility bill. When renting, I insisted that my partner and I be named on the contract so that we can both use it as proof of address.
Travel / Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by atyadz1: 12:51pm On Aug 24, 2021
Noted. Thank you

contra:

You need utility bill to register for many things like bank account, council tax, applying for credit card etc which you won't have if you take a bill inclusive house. But if the bill inclusive ones are cheaper you may want to consider those and find another way to create your utility bill, like take a ohone contract etc.

On inspection, most restrictions are relaxed now and you can have physical inspection, otherwise online inspections are also available.

Hello guys, when getting an apartment, is it better to consider one with all bills inclusive in the package or go for one without such options.
Also, how easy is it to do inspection with agents (giving the whole covid-issue)
Please gurus your advice is needed. Thanks
