Also must you come with the school you filled the form with or can you come with another university's admission letter but the same course/
Personal advice: come with both and tender the one closest to your first degree discipline.

Nuel1647:
Which one do you want, congratulations or scholarship.

Yes I did.
But more importantly it shows that they only reach a decision concerning you after the interview. If they allocated 24/50 to everybody, then there was no need for the interview, as the outcome will be completely identical to the CBT.

back to your question. Were you congratulated during this current exercise? if no, there were others that weren't congratulated that still got the award.

Congratulations requires a lot of coincidence, some of which are, at least 2:1, Come from Bayesla, Delta, Akwa Ibom or Rivers in that order, have at least 70% in the CBT, have all your documentation, don't bring admission letter to read aerospace engineering, etc. Finally, be lucky to answer all the questions you were asked correctly. Even if na you, you no go congratulate this kind of candidate.

My sister or brother, the congratulations dey sweet wela, almost as sweet as the award.
LOL.

They no tell me congratulations oh, na code they take talk am. see wetin they tell me.
"Get ready to take your leap of faith".

Mari is the course coordinator abi? i personally sent him/her an email, telling her to sign the scholarship contract and send it back to me but she said it isnt necessary since it has been stated on the admission letter. and yes i think she is right. just package other documents and include the details in your introductory letter/SOP and you are good to go

MEDICAL SCIENCES
Here is your "Hint"!
Of the 3 major BMS courses (Anatomy, Biochemistry and Physiology) choose the most functional and concentrate on just one area (bulk of questions will arise from there). I repeat, just one area.
Read "voraciously" as well from Biostatistics to Pharmacokinetics.

Then you can thank me later.

i need to pay an acceptance fee which i can't afford currently
Send a mail to them stating that they give you more time, say like 60days or more (by this time I believe you must have heard from NLNG). Also add that you are still waiting on the outcome of a particular scholarship which you applied for. You can give a brief detail if you like. I believe they will understand that and reserve your place.

I hope this helps.

Guys please advice me. I had amission last year. I was given the letter on march for October admissions list. Should I still use it to apply for the scholarship or there's anything I can do?
This is quite simple. Just contact the school for a deferment of your last year's offer and request for an amended offer letter with October 2015 as start date. I firmly believe they'll be more than happy to honour such request.

PS: Don't be afraid to let them know that you need the amended offer letter urgently too.

Thank you very much for you contributions to this great thread. Is like you are a "LAWYER" because of the way you answered those questions. We still need your presence in this thread.
Don't worry friend, you can still ask. I guess as a family, answers would be provided and you can always make do of the ones that seems best to you.

WizardofOz1: Happy New week..

If you can, mk out time for thanksgiving at your place of worship. I dunno the religion of the day in Abel's time but he presented his thanksgiving offering symbolic of his 'harvest' to God and the Lord was pleased with him. A harvest is basically an opportunity to start a new cycle of preparation and working the land for a new season leading to your next harvest. Both those that got invited to NLNG's AC and those that didn't have been given an opportunity to start a new cycle of preparation and work. For this, I think we should present ourselves to God and give thanks. Regardless of one's faith, I believe thanksgiving is universal.
Gratitude is the seed for a harvest of 'more'. In all things, give thanks.

Faith over feelings.
Love over power.
Prosperity over money.
God over everything.

Amat Victoria Curam.
All praise to the Most High, at all times.
God bless this one for this.

simonns: Informative thread. Some Universities accept a letter stating English was the language of instruction on a letter headed from one's previous University (stamped and signed) for waiving IELTS. As regards CAS, Uni of Liverpool is the only Uni i know that issues a CAS without proof of funding.
Yea, Liverpool issues CAS without proof of funding as they normally "do not request" for tuition fee deposit as a strict condition, but they are not the only ones. I also know of Cranfield and Loughborough who'd issue you a CAS when you've got an unconditional offer and in anticipation of a scholarship award. I still believe there are other Universities with a similar procedure.

iceberg54: The guy was very extreme. Comparing FI to Ukraine was a joke. Guys from Spain, france, italy etc are flooding here daily.

However, 1500 euros monthly would mean you are doing more than one job. No single job would earn you that as a student. Cos it implies about 15euros per hr (100 hrs per month). But doing two jobs will most likely affect your schooling. Cos then you need to work during the day or overnight.

Anyways, If your sole purpose here is to study and support yourself while studying, you are fine, provided you are able to get a job on time.
Thanks for this vital info. In my own case, I just need to work (student part-time) to be able to "gather" the required living cost (plus a little extra, say like 2000euros extra) for the second year of the MSc programme while in my first year MSc. Hope this won't put a lot of stress on my education, considering the time it would take to get such amount of money.

Moreso, my choice of school is the University of Eastern Finland (they are the only ones with my programme of interest). Hope it is a nice choice of school?
