I am not with it at the moment and Waec is no longer needed for Wes evaluation. However if you need the Waec for something else, the printing shops around the Waec office all have the format.
Thank you for your reply. The person in need of the WES evaluation has WAEC as his highest qualification and he is desirous of entering the Express Entry pool for the Federal Skills Trade program. So, he needs his WAEC evaluated and has already begun the process online from WES ends. WES has requested him to send official documents from WAEC.
TravelRe: How To Send WAEC Results To WES by auroraborealis: 2:06am On May 07, 2022
Like seriously? So, no need of traveling to Lagos to send WAEC confirmation to WES. Even if it was for ECA for Immigration purpose?

sanmiajanaku:
This is totally true, I called WES today and the customer support agent on the phone was so happy to announce to me that the information is true. WES no longer requires WAEC/NECO Transcripts nor Scratch Cards. If your account is displaying "NOT RECEIVED" on your WAEC and scratch card status. The WES support agent said, "Don't worry about it, you don't have to take any further action. give WES some time, they will update your information online, and proceed to evaluate your transcript".

This is a huge relief!
TravelRe: How To Send WAEC Results To WES by auroraborealis: 2:01am On May 07, 2022
Thanks for the update. Please, if you don't mind, can you help with a screenshot of the affidavit used, you can blur out personal information. I need the format so that I can get the affidavit from here before travelling down to Lagos. Thank you.

Prettiepearlz:
I was at WAEC office today, I processed mine and a friend’s. I did both affidavit at the court at sabo Yaba for NGN500 each. The woman initially didn’t want to sign my friend’s affidavit but I pleaded with her and she accepted. I printed at NGN200 each. Everything that completed affidavit was NGN700 each. It would have been lesser if I got the affidavit format earlier and had it printed in the office, but it’s all good. Note you can do the affidavit yourself, just enter the court house, ask the security personnel for direction to the affidavit office and they will direct you. It’s on the first floor, the office is close to the staircase. Avoid unnecessary expenses of 1500 as it didn’t take me more than 15 mins and this was because I had to go outside to make photocopy of the affidavit after it was signed and stamped. I almost fell for the 1500 because I was at Yaba yesterday too and I was too tired to climb the stairs, I was told NGN1500 by one baba, I priced at NGN800 but said no and insisted on NGN1200, I agreed but unfortunately by the time we were done printing, they had close in the court office which was a blessing in disguise even though I was pained that I only came to Yaba to print paper because I discovered that the guy that printed for me didn’t edit the WAEC year to reflect mine, I had to get him to correct that this morning and reprint. I collected my printout and money from the man and told him I would come do it today. I went there today, I almost patronized the man again, but I decided to go inside myself because of how much of a big deal they made the affidavit sound. That was how I got it done without stress for NGN500 though receipt says NGN250. At WAEC, I was allowed to courier my confirmation of results and scratch card with that of my friend and it saved cost as both envelopes are addressed and will be stamped across, so it doesn’t matter how it is packaged. WAEC also didn’t take time at all. The only downside is the fact that we would get tracking number in 2 months, that’s what the courier woman told us, I was shocked but wetin we go do now? Hopefully it wouldn’t be up to that time.
TravelRe: How To Send WAEC Results To WES by auroraborealis: 1:58am On May 07, 2022
Thanks for the update. Please, if you don't mind, can I get a snapshot of the affidavit so that I can prepare it from my state before coming to Lagos?

canadabyfire:
My candidate was at WAEC office at YABA, Lagos.....the process is simple but, with some amount of cash to part with

1. Official processing payment to WAEC, for processing result confirmation for international purpose is 10,000naira.
2. Officials at this office would also charge 10,000naira for courier service.
3.WES insist on sending scratch card, this scratch is currently sold by saboteurs outside WAEC office for 2,000naira as it is currently unable at WAEC office. There are indications that the price of the scratch card would go up as the demand increases....there are speculation on artificial scarcity.
4. There is an arrogant typist, directly opposite WAEC's office that processes the sworn affidavit for 4,000naira as at January, 2019. Months before now she was priced at 2,000naira...... however, if you are patient and have sufficient time, this affidavit can be done for less than 500naira at the court at Sabo yaba......(the business Centre opposite the court types the document for 150naira, you take the typed document into the court for seal....which is 250naira only) Keke maruwa to and from WAEC office to court at Sabo is 100naira........well if you are unaware of this, some bigots at the court would request payment of 1,500naira.
5. Price of 2 envelopes is 100naira
6. 2 passport photograph.
7. In case you run out of cash, there is First Bank brand adjacent to WAEC office.
8. Result confirmation is done by WAEC between 9am and 1pm.......try get there on time.......Friday is usually crowded.
9. Courier lady, mentioned that the tracking number would be sent to your mobile phone after 2 weeks.

Best Wishes........

Please, for those that got Mpower loan, how did you structure your SOP under POF? Do someone need to explain reasons for taking a loan and how it will be paid and the number of years? Or attaching the MPower approval loan letter is enough?

kuze1, ifeks216, JosephYemsol, Amicableoga, lushk.
Please I need your input as your visa applications were approved with Mpower. Thank you
I think I am going to learn from this too because I will be using MPower Loan for the whole payment of Tuition and Fees about the equivalent of US$34,000. The CAD$10,000 for Living Expenses POF has been saved already. I do not have any sponsors as well. For home ties, I am married with no kids yet and wifey won't be traveling with me (not yet). We do not have any landed properties or huge investment accounts, both of us are self-employed. I have a registered business which I registered in 2017 and have executed a contract (some tens of millions of naira) for which the government has not paid me till now, still pursuing the payment. The company account has less than N300k right now. In the light of the above, how do I show home ties with these in my study permit application? Gurus in the house, please advise.

What stopped her from doing her own "due diligence" before opening her legs for him? If she was really serious about the whole stupid relationship in the first place she should have known about the man's true marital status long before now. That's even if her version of the story is true.

EducationUniversity Graduate Wins £90,000 NERC Enterprise Fellowship Award by auroraborealis(op): 5:39pm On Apr 21, 2017
A University of Aberdeen graduate who has turned his PhD into a business idea has been awarded a prestigious NERC Enterprise Fellowship by the Royal Society of Edinburgh.

The Fellowship, worth £90,000, will provide Rotimi Alabi with support to develop RAB-Microfluidics, a company he formed with support from the University. The start-up offers oil analysis to businesses through ‘lab-on-a-chip’ technology that aims to dramatically reduce maintenance and repair costs for heavy equipment.

Rotimi, who is from Nigeria, developed the idea while working on his PhD alongside Dr Stephen Bowden and Professor John Parnell, from the University’s School of Geosciences.

Their work on the application of microfluidics to oil analysis – a relatively new area of research – led to the development of a chip capable of carrying out mobile online oil measurements.

With oil analysis usually carried out in a lab, the development of the ‘lab-on-a-chip’ sparked a business idea that led Rotimi to contact the University’s Research and Innovation Department, who provided expertise that helped him create RAB-Microfluidics.

Now based at the University’s ABVenture Zone, which provides support and state of the art office facilities for innovative start-ups through the Accelerate Aberdeen programme, RAB-Microfluidics is poised to begin its transformation into a fully-fledged business.

Although delighted to be in a position where he is ready to take his company to the next level, Rotimi admits that it hasn’t been plain sailing.

“During my PhD I worked in the lab all day and every day – including weekends – for seven months without any breakthrough,” he explained.

“Stephen had proved the concept that it was possible to analyse oil by using microfluidics but my job was to take that a step further and demonstrate it in the lab.

“It was very much a process of trial and error and there were moments where I really doubted myself, but Stephen and John gave me great encouragement until one day we turned the corner and captured the measurements, which was a huge relief.”

With his perseverance having paid dividends, Rotimi was determined not to let the matter rest there.

“After my PhD I found a job, but I knew I wanted to do something with my PhD otherwise it would just sit in the archives. I just didn’t know how to make the move.

“I got in touch with the University’s Research and Innovation Unit who told me all about the opportunities that were open to me and it was like seeing a new world for the first time.

“They made me think less like an academic and more like an entrepreneur, and helped me build my business case that led to my acceptance to the ABVenture Zone and registering the company.”

The NERC Enterprise Fellowship will provide Rotimi with a year’s salary and expert support to grow his business in a package worth £90,000. This builds on existing grant funding for RAB-Microfluidics from the Oil and Gas Innovation Centre and Energy Technology Partnership, worth £65,000.

Describing his product as “potentially revolutionary”, Rotimi is looking ahead optimistically.

He said: “We have the expertise and we have the vision and the ambition to revolutionise the way testing and analysis is done on oil.

“To get to the point where we can provide a portable device that can take measurements will take another 12 months and around £500,000, but I’m optimistic we can achieve this. When we have the product then a new journey will begin.”

shaybebaby:
So someone has opened a thread about rape/ paedophilia perpetrated by females on young male children and it appears to me that the victims themselves are trivialising the horror of such happenstance.
How can the gravity be communicated when the victims themselves are making light of it rather than being honest about the emotional and psychological havoc it wreaked and is still wreaking in their lives. We know such experiences becomes part of what shapes their relationships with females in adulthood. Unsuspecting females then suffer as result of this and it continues, a vicious cycle where everyone loses in someway because someone took advantage of a child.
The same education about awareness given to female children should be given to boys as well. I have a son and I shudder to think such could happen, that woman/ man had better be prepared to forfeit future use of any sexual parts they have but they will be fvcked up by me.
Guys, don't make light of this issue, what is wrong is wrong irrespective of gender. If a young boy happens to read the jokes and questions that are being asked on here such as " did you enjoy it?", pray tell, how would ever feel comfortable to speak up when the same people of his gender are making light of his ordeal.
Reminds me of the movie, "fifty shades of grey".

The reason is simple!!! Most of the contributors here are first degree holders. Hence they post what they know. It's a Nigerian thread, getting undergraduate admission in Finland from Naija isn't easy hence many people aren't bothered. It's because of the stress u have to go thru to write their entrance exams which can't be done here in Nigeria. That's why people from this part of the world don't bother too much about it. Y'all should stop making it look like there's a form of discrimination or we're deliberately neglecting the undergrad admission issues.

Another application period is coming, make one person do small undergrad admission research and post his findings here, others go jump on am and u'll see the balance.
or better still create a separate thread wholly dedicated for undergrads admissions

This UK postgraduate education has been overrated enough. C'mon, when other nations in same Europe are offering far excellent programmes that are tuition free and completely taught in English, they are there formulating policies that will boomerang on them.

On another note, it may even be better for NDDC to delay and award the scholarship next year as it will afford enough time for folks to secure admission into better, inexpensive and even tuition free programmes in other parts of Europe.
