airsaylongcom: Good morning guys. So my mention just went up. Truth is if your account isn't domiciled in my branch there's not much I can do. There's an on going audit and what I do is fast track auditing of your transactions so you can get paid. I can't do such if your account isn't with my Branch. There's absolutely no need to panic though. You all will be paid as the audit gets done. Where is your branch? |

UyaiIncomparabl: Who can proffer a solution for me? I am totally tired! I usually cannot seem to have a goodnight's rest. If I am not in a pool of different species of large snakes, I am always on the run because one is always after me. Fortunately for me, I am never harmed by them.
Dream interpreters and what have you, I need help. I have prayed countlessly but prayers don't seem to be working because the dreams usually resurface. I have suffered from this dilemma since I was 10. I really need help, please.
Someone made a sly comment of either being an "ogbanje" or a snake goddess but I can't still seem to wrap my head around such erroneous suggestion. Few people here has told you the meaning and these are few who has had the dream in the past including myself. It means you have a lot of insincere people around. Envious people that does not want good things to happen to you and it can be any1. The only way I was able to stop mine was to be bold. Before going to bed at night I always give myself the assurance that I am putting on things that can protect me from snake bite, like putting on boot that gets to my knee to be able to match their head without be scared of being biting. To stop the dream or at list reduce it you need to confront them. |

obiekunie2: sir you need to run some updates on your info file.
STARTIME IS WHOLLY OWNED BY THE DAMNED CHINESE VULTURES - GOSH! I HATE CHINESE!
DON'T GET UPSET BY MY COMMENT - THE CHINESE HATES US MORE THAN THEY HATE ANY OTHER THING ON EARTH.
IF CHINAMAN HAVE HIS WAY, THEY WILL ADD US TO THEIR MENU. You no hate Chinese reach me, but both of them are the same. The only difference be say we can connect well with SA because we see them as brother. But they both hate Nigerians. It is much painful to see person you regards as brother treat you so bad and hate everything you do. |

benji93: Personally i would rather have a South-African company than a Chinese company despite the animosity between our people. But we have 30% of Startime, so if the quality is not too different, the government could try to push it into the market. But not until we are worth 50% of the shares. If our governments are serious, no foreign company should be allowed into our market unless a Nigerian or group of Nigerians has at least 50% of the shares. But we may need to have locals dealing in the same stuffs, this is seldom the case. Our matter hard. Bro you are very right, I may not like the way the Chinese run their biz and treat our pple here, but the majorits of SA people hate Nigerians passion. I schooled there, studied sound and film production even did my internship with AM Dstv. I dicided to let go of Dstv after the recent xenophobic attacks on foreigners, though still have a lot of South Africans as friends. |

Dantedasz: Their content is terrible! The picture quality is poor! The local movies are endless repeats. The foreign movies are endless repeats! The only current content comes from AIT ,Channels and NTA news. The only current sports are the German Bundesliga and the Europa league. And before you counter me I have the dish and pay for their premium content so I know what I am talking about. While I agree DSTV is also rubbish without the premier league and are ripping Nigerians off because I also subscribe to their compact plus bouquet Startimes is certainly not a good alternative at all. Fine if you talk of repeating content they are both on the same level. I disagree with you on the picture quality, because the StarTimes I have is crystal clear. I bought StarTimes TV and it came with a Sim like phone Sim card to be inserted into the TV and I don't use decoder. And for the sport I said it earlier that is the only difference. Which is what you are try to say now. |

yinkus6750: Very welcome development What they can't do in SA, they take us for granted and continue making so much money that they take back home. Never knew Startines was owned by NTA, let's promote our own. HITV came and we all switched, guess he could manage his success, and went off. Not only them, mobile networks also, data is becoming so expensive NTA has 30% share, the Chinese has 70% and StarTimes is run by the chinese. |

Sports › Re: FG Prohibits Exclusivity Rights In Sports Broadcasting by austinauto(m): 12:18pm On Jan 10, 2020 |
apoti: Football lovers in Nigeria will be happy with this development. But it seems like a complicated one and FG hasn't provided much details about the modalities. DSTV will not pay premium fees for rights only to be compelled to share with NTA. They would rather not show any content once their current licence expires. But again the Nigerian market too big and they wouldn't want to lose out. The next few years will be very interesting
The good thing is that without exclusivity rights, other broadcasters can also apply for rights to English FA, UEFA etc as long as they can afford it.
The statement from FG said they are mandated to "share". They key point is that they are compelled or mandated to, whether they are sharing for a fee or reselling, DSTV has thrived over the years because they have exclusive rights for the sporting contents. Most people only pay the premium DSTV subscription just for sports. This new development will severely impact their business model and they will have to think hard and restrategise before renewing their current licence. Star Time has already started showing English FA Matches this season. |

Nigeria is number 4 in West Africa and that amount is just 80 million dollars which can't even pay salaries of teachers in Greater Accra for even 3 months. That trade money is chicken feed and mind you we also buy 159 million dollars of your products which we can choose to buy it elsewhere which you will loose that money.Your country is useless to us. You just dey rant from one comment to another. Ghana wey be say their president and some officials dey beg Nigeria last year for their inability of Ghana to settle its long-standing debts as stipulated in the gas supply contract. https://punchng.com/ghana-owes-160m-for-gas-supply-from-nigeria/amp/ |
