As I said I m giving my unbiased review.

this is the best thing coming out of DCEU. This movie was so real. This movie deserves a billion dollars not that piece of trash called Aquaman. DC messed up by not releasing this good family movie during Christmas .

As someone who has read all Shazam comics since Geoff Johns started writing shazam, the casting was 100% accurate, the story was good that I didn't check whether the CGI is bad or not, or even notice whether everywhere is dark(as usual), the humor were well placed. Characters development were good.
Some people are saying they copied power rangers which is not true , Shazam family appeared before power rangers.
Also love the fact they referenced fawcott (the original owner of shazam that DC destroyed )
where were these people when DC were making trash.

I must confess I really enjoyed this movie
Shazam family casting was just accurate with the comics and the story was just too real.

My Shazam box office predictions.

Domestic - $250m
China - $100m - $150m
Rest of the world - $300m

Total BO - $650m - $700m

This is still massive for a low budget movie.





Factors used to come up with this prediction;

1. Shazam character is relatively unknown to the non comic book fans

2. Low marketing budget and production budget

3. Same month with Avengers endgame

4. Might be too American for the Chinese audience hence the low amount given in my prediction for CBO


However, take note, this is my least box office prediction and it can be wrong.


So, DC fans, share your box office predictions as the movie premieres today.

Still too early for predictions sha but who knows anything can happen.

i can attest to that too, looking at the number of views on each trailer its not as much as infinity war, and also some people are angry that they killed black panther, thinking black panther will not appear in Endgame. But who knows Endgame can still make 3 billion dollars

Sorry to say but it may not make upto that, let it come and make its 2billion and be going.

They better not bring back doomsday, that's why even till this day am pissed with the way they handled General Zod...with an asset like that they can form the legion of doom with Lex, BlackManta, Captain Cold, Cheetah(to taunt wonderwoman) and even throw in Deathstroke which they were already teasing already. With that set of people in place I believe a good justice league movie will stand.

Spiderman: Far from home trailer won't drop until after Endgame...i was hoping to see more scenes anyway we just have to wait.

I agree to this, and if we really want to be honest with ourselves I haven't really seen/read any DC fan calling marvel movies trash that I know of oo can't say the same about marvel fans and besides with my experience with marvel movies, I believe this captain marvel movie is rated below average or something hence the reason some people here are calling the movie trash.
